The place was very cute , and not everyplace has nice beds and mattress . This place had really comfy beds and it was so tastefully done. Would recommend it to everyone.

Centrally located between kings beach and Tahoe city and walking distance to the lake! Easily slept 2 families with kids. Easy check in and check out instructions. We would recommend this rental.

Pretty, clean, great location

Very clean and modern, but not a chalet. Very poorly furnished and very uncomfortable “great room”. No bedroom furniture and poor bedroom lighting. They need to get a comfortable couch and some chairs to sit in! The rates charged do not warrant furniture from IKEA.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location to beach, ice cream shop and north and west shores. Beautiful light in the living room.

Easy access to walk to local community beach with toddlers. Close to multiple activities such as Kings Beach & playground, North Tahoe Regional Park with biking/hiking trails, great playground, Treetop Adventure Park, short drive to Tahoe City, NorthStar. Accommodations were nice. Quiet neighborhood!

Pros:
• Great location – close to lake and small beach
• Great upstairs bathroom with exceptional shower
• Nice kitchen
• Good washer and dryer
• Entry hall – very useful and convenient
• TV has many channels
Cons:
• Spiders under cushions and in both bedrooms
• Guests in both bedrooms suffered spider bites, one severely.
• Furniture & Furnishings
o Couch in living room is painfully uncomfortable
o No luggage racks or dressers – have to put suitcases on the floor
o No chairs in bedrooms – have to sit on bed
o No Beach chairs – not essential but would be nice considering there’s a beach within walking distance.
• Home in need of repair
o Screen door slider in downstairs bedroom doesn’t open
o Screens on sliders are ripped – downstairs bedroom and slider next to kitchen table.
• Dogs across the street bark for hours on end.

This was a very nice location. Very short walk to a nice little beach and close to Safeway. The house was very clean and nicely remodeled. It was a rather quiet location. We loved the huge windows in the front to look at the trees and the mud room to store our beach shoes/towels. Bring your own beach chairs and enjoy the location because the traffic was pretty miserable with the construction around Lake Tahoe to go anywhere. Overall there was very little to complain about at the Moon Dune Chalet. We felt very comfortable there, and we are pretty picky about places we stay.

This facility was well designed for my adult children. And for my young grandson. The host took the effort to make sure there were bibs and children's utensils there. There was no high chair. But we brought one. EVERYTHING what size expected and I strongly recommend this location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moon Dune Chalet! Such a magical place with amazing views out of the floor to ceiling windows, perfect location, and comfy furnishings. We will definitely be back!

Every room was clean, very comfortable bed, nice linens, lots of natural light throughout house, well equipped kitchen.

Over all it was a great experience. We enjoyed very much the house and its surroundings. It was perfect for the kids. About the location it could not be better. About the service of Tahoe Getaways I only have positive words. Altough I never spoke to anyone the proces went smoothly. I apreciatte it. I would definetely stay again at the same house and trust and recommend Tahoe Getaways. Only a couple of observations about the house: 1. The mattress of the main bedroom was unconfortable 2. The main bathroom should have a different flooring or better heating. It has a lot of space but poorly distributed. I hope we will use again your services. Best regards!

I've been going to Tahoe since before I can remember. I always try to stay in this neighborhood to be close to my families cabin. This was the perfect rental. The large windows brought in so much natural light. There is a nice separation of the bunk room down stairs and the upstairs master. The loft area made for a great little work station as well. We walked down to the beach right across the street (so much less crowded than Kings Beach). Everything was very clean. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moon Dune! The home was well kept, nicely updated and the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed all the features of the home and the convenient location to the lake but also not too far from ski resorts. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect
Moon dune chalet exceeded our expectations! It was super clean and accommodations were as advertised! We stayed with our small children. The absence of clutter often seen at rental properties was so refreshing! Can’t beat the location in summer or winter.

A gem by the lake
The Moon Dune Chalet was as gorgeous in real life as it was in the photos. Quaint, tidy, convenient are the key words that come to mind. There is plenty of space for a family, the kitchen is brand new with everything you need and the supermarket is nearby. We felt in a home away from home, with comfortable beds, and a great wifi! We will be back!
