About this house rental
3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Bathrooms. 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twin Beds. 3 TV's, DVD, wireless internet, wood burning fireplace, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, charcoal BBQ, deck, double garage, fenced in backyard. This very comfortable home has blue water ocean view from the deck. Nicely furnished and quiet. At the top of Park Hill, just a short walk to the upper ranch trail and only 1/2 mile to Shamel Park and the ocean. This is a split level home. The upstairs is the main part of the house including the master bedroom and bathroom. The living room, dining area and kitchen are upstairs as well as a half bathroom. The downstairs consists of the two other bedrooms and a separate tv room.

There were 3 of us and a little dog and we had a marvelous time. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for any cooking we did. Only suggestion would be to have a few more big mugs for coffee and some clear stemmed glasses for wine. But none of that took away from our enjoyment. Ate in for most dinners, but had a wonderful meal at The Black Cat in Cambria. The house is located about 30-45 minutes from most wineries in the Paso area so you can have a great day there tasting. The Firestone Taproom and Etto Pasta were wonderful stops for lunch. Altogether a fantastic stay!

We have been visiting Cambria for almost ten years and found this stay to be the best!! Located near Fiscalini Ranch, we loved the views walking along the neighborhood and seeing diverse wildlife- including turkeys!!! XoxoMy husband and I had an extended weekend getaway and loved staying in this home! A spacious kitchen, huge bathtub in the master room in the garage for parking! We will be back to this home! Next time we would love to bring our grown children as the house was so spacious. The proximity to the ocean was relaxing to listen to at night. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We will definitely consider staying here again, the house was very clean and comfortable, exactly as described online in the perfect location for walking down the (steep) hill to the beach and going for a quick drive into town. Bonus was being able to park in the garage since it was raining while we were there. Lots of nice little touches such as flashlights next to every bed. Nice to have two coffee machines available but we couldn't find any coffee in the cabinets (perhaps previous renters used it up and it just hadn't been replaced?). One funny quirk is the master bathroom window setup -- one might not want to take a shower or a bath at nighttime as the neighbor's can see your outline with the lights behind you. But overall a wonderful rental and would definitely come back!

The house is comfortable enough, with a king in the master, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, and two twins in the 3rd. We used the "TV room" for our grandbaby in his portable crib. It was a good house for us because I did not feel worried about precious knick knacks or pristine furniture. It just felt relaxed, in that regard. The Master is on the second floor with the kitchen, dining, and living area. The other rooms are on the first floor. Apparently, you can hear people walking around and cupboards opening and closing very well when in those rooms. There is a deck with a table and chairs for outside dining, which we used only once and in the middle of the day because evenings were chilly when we were there. The back yard is not much to speak of, but worked well for the dog. The view of the ocean is a peek-a-boo view. At night in the master you can hear the waves crashing in the distance. We did one walk to the coast, but with the little ones it was a push because the street is very steep, the climb home being tough for some of our group. There is a beautiful community park called Shamel within walking or a short drive distance. The beach is right there, too, but is NOT a swimming beach. Very steep and under tows. There are lots of beautiful rocks to rummage through for jade, jasper, and agate. The best beach is Moonstone Beach. The boardwalk along the cliff above the beach is perfect for an easy stroll and dogs are allowed. The beach does NOT allow dogs. There were lots of surfers and sea life was abundant. We even saw dolphins in the waves. The town of Cambria is essentially split into two sections, both very cute. Access to fun activities is easy, both north and south.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Place is clean and cozy, exactly what you see on the pictures. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset right from the windows. Within walking distant to Fiscalini ranch and the beach to enjoy the views. However, the living room can use better lightings and a bigger television. And the kitchen could use a pair of scissors.

House is convenient to the ranch, the beach, and west end of the west village. As usual the staff at Cambria Vacation Rentals were very helpful. This trip was our second stay @ 555 Lancaster. This home is in a great location. Two easy blocks from Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The home is clean, though starting to show a little wear. Master bed is super comfortable and you will get a great nights sleep. Open the window a little and you can hear the waves crash.If you enjoy cooking, make sure to bring your own spices and whatnot. Also bring a knife or two. Make sure to notice the sunsets from the deck. They are gorgeous. Cambria Vacation Rentals is great to work with.Can't wait to come back!

The house was immaculate and really quite spacious with a large master suite, two other bedrooms, and 21/2 baths. We also found the property manager most cooperative and responsive. Due to recent storms, they had put a dehumidifier on the lower level which we did use.

Although we've visited Cambria a number of times, this was our first stay at this location. Overall, it was very nice, especially with the use of the enclosed garage. The house was nice, although some of the furniture was a bit old. It was clean and neat although cleaning crew missed a few spots. Several lights were out as well which should have been checked. Location was excellent, near beautiful walking trail, Shamel Park, Moonstone Beach and less than a mile to town. Also neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed it enough to rebook another stay next April...

This was our 7th rental from Cambria Vacation Rentals, and as has always happened before, it was flawless.

I’d never been to Cambria in my 53 years of living in California. The house was lovely for friends to hang out. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, although knives need sharpening. (A very minor complaint). We couldn’t figure out all of the light switches and suggest notes showing which switch works for which light. It was great to be near Fiscalini Reserve as we walked it everyday plus went to Hearst Castle and viewed the Elephant seals. The beds were so comfortable and there were an abundance of sheets and towels. We used the last of the laundry detergent, but left some of the other things that we bought along the way. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it. When we were out of trash liners, the management company quickly brought some over. Lovely week which we will always remember.

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. There was plenty of room for the five of us, which consisted of parents and three young adults in their twenties. The check in process was very easy. We got there around 6 PM and we easily got our keys out of the lock box. We ate most of our meals in the house so the kitchen was very important to us. The kitchen has everything that you could possibly need and plenty of room for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the furnishing very clean. There is a small ocean view and it’s a quick walk to the Fiscalini ranch. Walking at a very slow rate it took us about 20 minutes to get to the beach. If you weren’t walking leisurely it could be done in less time . We really enjoyed our stay here and I recommend this place next time you come to Cambria.
