About this house rental
This recently remodeled duplex is gorgeous and comfortable! The property is only 7 houses to the sand so going back and forth from the beach to the house is really easy. You can see the ocean from the balcony upstairs and front of the house. This property is great for big families. There are two units (upstairs and a downstairs) with no internal doors between the units. The front doors are on the opposite side of the house.
Upstairs has 4 bedrooms all with king size beds, a great balcony with right side view of the ocean and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.
The downstairs unit has 2 bedrooms. The master has a king bed and the second room has a queen bed. There is a full size sofa bed as well. The living room has bifold patio doors that open to the big patio. This is California living at it's best!
The oversized garage houses the provided bikes and beach gear and can accommodate even some larger cars. We have plenty of chairs, beach towels, beach cruisers/bikes, boogie boards, surf board, wetsuits, wagon, and sand toys for you to use while at the house. There are washers and dryers for your use (free of charge) and we provide laundry soap.
Both units have air conditioning which many rentals in Newport don't offer.
This property is in a great location on 39th Street, close enough to walk to the pier, restaurants and shopping. The boardwalk starts on 36th street. Park the cars for the week and cruise the town on foot or take the bikes out!
Guest who books the house must be at least 28 years old and must be staying at the house (no booking for under age kids). Parents do not attempt to rent for your under age kids.

We rented both units (top and bottom) for a post-Christmas family gathering, with in-laws, grandparents, cousins coming at various times for varying lengths of stays.
We've stayed at several vacation rentals over the years, and this was easily the most well-thought out of any. Both units were stocked incredibly well, with enough towels and bedding that I didn't have to constantly do laundry to keep up. The kitchens were also well-stocked, including a coffee maker and coffee (so we didn't have to run right to the grocery store when we arrived to make sure we'd have caffeine in the morning!) There was also tons of beach equipment available: bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, towels. And garage parking is a huge plus!
Even though the bottom unit is smaller, it still fit our whole group, with the outside space becoming a perfect extension of the living room. The upper unit's kitchen was big enough for a few of us to work in at a time, without feeling cramped. The bedrooms aren't huge, but 4 of the 6 were big enough to fit an air mattress in for extra sleeping space. And the beds were very comfortable and clean.
The location was ideal. Probably 2 minutes max to get to the sand from the front door. Grocery store and restaurants are a short walk away. The boardwalk along the beach, leading to the pier and beyond, is even closer.
The neighborhood was very quiet, even on New Year's Eve!
An ideal rental for a peaceful, relaxing, easy vacation!

We rented the upstairs and downstairs units of this property for 12 of us to celebrate our son's wedding. The beds were super comfy, there were beach chairs, boogy boards and other beach stuff galore, and we were a short walk to the beach. We had a great time.

We had a fantastic time at the beach house. It housed 11 of us perfectly. It was very clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. It took about 2 minutes to walk to the sand. It was equipped with all of the essentials and there were more than plenty of bikes and beach chairs. The two sets of washers and dryers were perfect as well with so many people. There was so much within walking distance so we didn’t need to use the cars at all. It was also very nice that we had garage spaces to park. We will definitely book this house again when we go back to Newport.

Family Turkey Day
We loved this property. It was absolutely perfect for our family. We rented upstairs and down and everyone had their own rooms/space. The house has been remodeled and it’s beautiful. All the beds were super comfy along with the couches. Lisa the property manager was a delight to work with. It was easy check in/check out! I would stay here again! Great location and great house.
