Welcome to Sea Splash!
This coastal luxury home is a sleek designed 7 bedroom, 8 bathroom beach house that sleeps 30 guests comfortably and is perfectly situated a short five minute walk to the areas' largest public beach and world famous Pompano Joe's beachfront seafood restaurant including a beachside bar. The home features a spacious private backyard complete with a generous sized heated saltwater pool and lighted pergola. At night, the beautiful LED lights illuminate the resort pool and pergola making for a truly memorable view.
The large, private, enclosed pool area comes complete with a covered outdoor porch featuring comfortable seating and grill. Weather is never an issue ! The covered outdoor porch is the perfect location for relaxing on a beautiful Florida evening. There is even a large poolside pergola with picnic table, perfect for hosting any special event.
Notable features for the home include multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, all with beautiful gulf or pool views. A massive driveway that can easily park 8 vehicles! All bedrooms have their own televisions.
The first floor is the focal point of the indoor living space with a sleek, open concept, coastal living room featuring pecky, pine shiplap walls, a large screen smart television and generous windows and double door with expansive pool views. The living room opens to the kitchen and dining room for optimal flow. The dining area offers ample seating and the large gourmet kitchen features separate beverage center, icemaker, ample storage and is anchored by a massive center island with seating for 4 additional guests. A half bathroom can be accessed off the front hallway. There is an additional king suite with en-suite bathroom.
The second floor features three king suites with their own bathrooms. Two of the King suites have a private entrance to a furnished, pool view, covered balcony. There is a second floor lounge area complete with queen sleeper sofa, television and wet bar with sink and mini fridge. Laundry room is off the second floor hallway.
The third floor is yet another focal point of the indoor living space with a spacious game room featuring more pecky, pine shiplap walls and large screen smart television. The game room also features a foosball table, 60 game cocktail table arcade system with stools and access to a gulf view balcony with seating. There are two separate double bunk bed setups with full bathrooms and an additional king suite with en-suite bathroom.
The Location:
Sea Splash is just a couple minute stroll to one of the largest public beaches in Northwest Florida. Not only is the sugar white beach right there, but fabulous restaurants like Pompano Joe's and Whales Tail are a short walk or bike ride away.
Stay ashore for a day of golfing at several nearby golf courses or if you prefer shopping, head over to Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall or Beautiful Destin Commons. This house was perfect for a big group! The pool/patio area is amazing and there are so many beds! The house was very clean upon arrival and the walk to the beach was easy. They also had plenty of beach chairs/toys. I would highly recommend this property!

Great for a larger Family or Group
We had 18 people and everyone had plenty of room. Third floor king room had no ceiling fan and it being at the top was a little warm for sleeping at night. ( We used a box fan from WalMart). All appliances worked great. 2 refrigerators and an ice machine was great for our large group! BRING command strip hooks (bathrooms have no way to hang up towels!!!) The walk to the beach was easy. We did rent a golf cart and it was great to scoot around in.

Excellent place to stay
We VRBO a lot, and this house was great. Duel refrigerators in the kitchen was a huge plus. The house had plenty of pool toys, a wagon and an umbrella to use for the beach. I would advise for future stays a few things: Bring Command hooks for the bathrooms. There is one hook in the bathrooms to hang bath towels, beach towels, suits etc. There isn’t even a place to hang even a hand towel. The kitchen is pretty bare bones. We had to buy mixing bowls, cheese grater, pitcher for juice. Future guests, you’re welcome, because we left it all there for the next round of guests :). Many reviews thought the driveway was too small. We were able to fit 6 cars no problem. It included minivan and mid and small SUV’s. Overall, it’s a great home and I would stay here again based on location and size.

Great Place for a Family Reunion
We made so many happy memories in this place connecting with family. We were so happy we paid extra to heat the pool. Sunsets were fabulous at the beach five minuets away. We thought the kitchen wasn't stock very well for a crowd like us. Didn't have any hot pads. We ended up buying quite a few things to keep us going. But they were quick to respond if we ask for anything.

Wonderful Christmas
Such a great company to rent from. They make it soo easy. All you have to do is enjoy. We dealt with Ellen and she was fabulous!! The house is great. They have everything you need for cooking for a big crew. The house is so spacious. The third floor is a game room and the kids LOVED it. The house is so well built that you can’t hear people walking on the floors above you. I recommend you get the pool heated. We had a very merry Christmas!

Spacious home
Great home that has so much space for our party of 12. All rooms were spacious, the accommodations were perfect for our needs. There is a large fridge, a beverage fridge in the island, and another beverage fridge on the second floor, as well as an industrial ice maker which made for ice always available. Just being blocks from the beach was perfect!

Family Getaway
We loved our stay at this property and everything was great until the property next door started pressure washing the outside of the building (which our property owner didn’t control) on Saturday afternoon. Even though there is a fence between when they did the second and third floor it was blowing across on us while we were trying to sit on the back patio and it was really noisy while they were doing it. Only suggestion is maybe property owners could communicate on stays, dates and time in outdoor property maintenance. Kitchen does need hot pad holders but nothing major we just used dish towels. I would highly recommend this property it is beautiful and very clean.

Not 100% Satisfied
THE GOOD: The house is close to most things, the pool is very nice, the house is spacious, and the beds were comfortable.
THE BAD:
1) When I booked this house, we needed a vacation so bad that the price didn’t hurt as much, but imagine how I felt once I noticed that this house did not have any reviews at all on VRBO. I really panicked. Once I finally got in touch with someone, I asked about the reviews.
She began to look for them and after not finding any, she said “just trust me.“ I panicked even more. The point? That’s not something you would be trained to say in Customer Service 101, especially when the client is nervous about the legitimacy of your company. My lesson? Look at all reviews BEFORE booking the house, as you are doing right now.
2) My card was charged for a huge amount, after we had exchanged emails clearly outlining the process then we were going to take to pay the rest. That was a real headache, however we were compensated with pool heating.
3) The shower handles in at least 2 of the bathrooms were coming apart.
4) Some of the kitchen utensils were VERY cheap, like Family Dollar cheap, which is inexcusable for the price of this house.
5) BIG ISSUE: I read previous reviews about the brick around the pool and the back fence needing to be repaired, so I emailed Ellen in advance asking her if the brick around the pool would be repaired before our trip. She didn’t respond to my first email.
I waited for a while & emailed her again about it, & she replied about a week before our trip saying that the brick HAD BEEN repaired. About 2 days INTO our trip the brick was not repaired. There was a significant hole there, where if you weren’t watching and you stepped there, you’d definitely trip and fall into the pool or roll your ankle. So WHILE we’re outside barbecuing, two workers show up unannounced and start repairing the brick. Imagine the sound of gas blowers while you have your music on, trying to enjoy conversation, and dust flying everywhere WHILE barbecuing.
HOT…MESS. 850 Vacations sent an email this morning for a review, but I was ONLY given the option to leave a five star review. Who does that? No thanks. I’ll review on VRBO and tell the full story.
Our DESPERATE need for vacation, & having family & friends there made this trip bearable. I’m sure they’re not going to offer to compensate any money, but I hope the review helps.

As soon as we walked in, it smelled so clean. Everyone enjoyed their stay as well as their own bathrooms! We had one issue with the drain in one of the rooms but someone came out to fix it as soon as a contacted management. Great property! We would definitely stay again!

Miramar Beach July 2021
We had an amazing week at Miramar Beach. The weather was gorgeous. We had a few things come up during our stay, but the property manager responded right away and was very helpful! The location is perfect, within walking distance to the beach. The driveway definitely does not fit 8 cars, that must only be if there are 8 tiny cars parked there. We had 2 SUV’s and 2 trucks, and it just fit in the parking areas. The bedrooms could use some dressers under the TVs, as there are only night stands in each bedroom. One bedroom does not have a closet, so there is no where to put belongings. The brick around the one corner of the pool does need to be repaired, but we were still able to use the pool. Otherwise we had a fabulous stay!

Rental was comfortable
There was plenty of room for our family, ages 79 to 18 months. Everything was provided that we needed. Kids loved pool and it was close enough to walk to the beach.

Great Home with pool
We had a great vacation here and the house was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and the management company answered our questions quickly. The pool and backyard space was well kept and we thoroughly enjoyed our time time here!!! We will definitely book this home again.

Large house. Great property. Easy walk to the beach.
It's a really nice house with lots of room. Everybody had their own personal space and we all enjoyed the common living area for when we wanted to be together. The pool was nice after a day at the beach to cool off before heading in for dinner and more socializing. It was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. We had a problem with the grill not working and Ellen & Sean had a new one to us early the next day.

Best value around for a large group
The house was actually clean. Many times we have paid an enormous cleaning fee and the house was half cleaned. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space for 14 adults and 3 kids. The communication from the management company was great. Ellen told me she would call the day of check in to be sure I had everything and she did in addition to the email. The home is close to the beach but the there is no side walk that takes you there so you are in the road. For the price, this was by far the best value available.
