Fantastic apartments for family of 5 close to the city

The apartments are fantastic - very roomy living areas and bedrooms, great kitchen with everything you need, easy parking, close to bus stops that were easy to get to the footy. Modern bathroom.

Pillows were a bit average.

My family and I had booked a 2 bedroom townhouse rather than a standard room that had the beds and everything else in one like most hotel rooms. After searching and then comparing all of the different hotels and what accommodation /facilities in rooms etc...... I had decided to book a 2 bedroom townhouse through Sombrero Comfort Inn & Suites as it had so much more to offer ie Kitchen, Dining room, Loungeroom, washer and Dryer aswell as 2 seperate bedrooms and surprisingly enough the price was affordable and value for money with so much more to offer in their accommodation than all of the other hotels which had everything all in one room for around the same if not more money. Overall I was quite surprised at how spacious it was upon arrival and the Reception staff were very polite and friendly and at last minute notice of an extra child they were extremely understanding and we were not charged any extra rate. 10/10 rating for a nice, relaxed and extremely affordable accommodation with so many shops only a stone's throw away ......Well done Sombrero Comfort Inn & Suites Prospect and Thankyou for providing such quality accommodation at such an affordable price 🙂

The only thing that I didn't like about our stay here was when I woke up and realised that we had to check out as it was our last day which meant it was the end of some much needed relaxation time for me 😒

Bed had bad springs , bathroom was very badly set out with toilet situated almost under the sink bench so need to contort to sit on it. Needs a complete makeover as very dated

Average accommodation

Secure Carpark. Harry Potter hideout under stairs. Kitchen and living space. Two toilets. Washing machine. Bath.

No curtains or blinds in bathroom. Shower was average. $200 bond on top of paying upfront in full. WiFi was intermittent. Only one TV downstairs none in bedrooms.

Was good for a last minute option

The location

That all the beds were upstairs and the main bathroom. That you had to stand in the bathtub to have a shower. The shower curtain didn’t even reach all the way to stop water from the shower getting on the floor and so then that made the bathroom floor very slippery! Also the $200 for security bond is pretty high Would only expect this from a 5 star accomodation Because not like there is a mini bar or anything in the room that people may not pay for!

Superb

I like how friendly and flexible the staff were, but also the gates closing from 7 pm onwards also added a level of security for your vehicle.

There really wasn't anything I disliked.

The bed was comfy. Netflix was a hit with the kids for the first night then didn't work the next night. The kitchen was nice. It was secure with the parking being locked up at night.

It was very outdated. For the price and the photos I expected it to be very new however the decor was 70s - old and musty. There were cobwebs hanging from the fan and mould in the bathroom tiles. The shower was in the bath and was a very big step over the edge of the bath - my 8 year old almost fell getting out. The toilet seat was a damaged so felt unclean (even though it was clean). It was also an upstairs apartment which wasn't mentioned in the blog when we looked online.

Disappointed

Was told there was a bath, half a bath is not a bath. Was told breakfast was included, was given two pieces of bread no butter or anything to go on the bread. I was only given the poorest breaky after I complained and only for 1 of the 2 days

After hours arrival but reception arrived quickly to let me in

Great Location. Our accommodation was great we had a family room with kitchen dining room and lounge room. Very clean and heating worked so good because it was cold over there. Would stay again and have already recommended to friends and family.
