Located twenty minutes from Government Camp and just three minutes from Sandy Ridge Trail or Wildwood Recreation Area, Haven House is perfectly situated to enable you to enjoy every activity the region has to offer. Welches Resort is five minutes away, with golf, groceries, restaurants and more. Sitting on 1.5 acres above the Sandy River, Haven House is quiet and private, yet easily accessed. You will find ample parking and the single level layout allows accessibility for all. Pets are welcome with approval.

Completely renovated and newly furnished in 2021, Haven House offers a large gathering space with fireplace, supersized TV with streaming apps and a brand new kitchen with everything you’ll need to keep your group well fed. Three bedrooms on the main floor – the spacious en suite River Room, the Mountain Room and the Forest Room – all provide comfortable, creatively decorated spaces for relaxing and sleeping. There is also an inviting attic bedroom for kiddos or others, complete with Roku television and two twin beds.

Beautiful views, cozy home to stay during a week and great location! Great jacuzzi also! A few things good use some attention: water pressure was very poor, the shower in master bedroom is too small, there are no curtains in living area, some soft lightning would be nice and the lamp in master bedroom goes on and of continuously.

Our family came in for a very quick weekend to celebrate our son’s wedding. The house was perfect for our larger family. The beds were wonderful and the view was stunning. The house was close to the venue which made it very convenient for everyone. Highly recommend!

This home has reaffirmed my belief that there are actually Owners out there that care about their homes. I've rented so many run down homes that have clearly been neglected. This home presents exactly as described in it's listing. It is super clean, spacious, and furnished as advertised. The deck was amazing, and I brought a couple zero-gravity loungers that made it even better, as the deck has amazing sun for a good part of the day. No more sitting in the shade the whole time you are up under the trees. It was great.
The jacuzzi really made the place as well. It was impeccably clean and worked fantastic. Perfect for morning and evening soaks while listening to the river.
All bedrooms were super comfortable and roomy. However, the master bath shower stall is extremely small, and the door popped open every time I turned around, as it did not latch closed properly. But all bathrooms were super clean and well stocked.
The kitchen was all new with great appliances, and was absolutely spotless as well. Thumbs up to the company that manages this property, (I Trip Northwest). This was, without a doubt, the most professional and attentive management company in any home I have ever stayed at. Super friendly and always available. I could not have asked for a better trip overall.

We really enjoyed our stay at Haven House. The iHome representative was very responsive and helpful, which set things off to a good start. The house itself is lovely, with an ever-changing view to the ridge and the Sandy river below. We enjoyed watching the mist rising or the snow catching on the trees, especially from the hot tub. The home was so clean, and the master bed was super comfy. It was the two of us, so we didn't need all the bedrooms, but delighted in the quiet, peaceful space. All of the joys of winter near Mt. Hood (we focused on snow-shoeing at White River Sno-Park and at Twin Lakes/Frog Lake) were an easy drive away. The complimentary bottle of pinot noir was delicious! Would only suggest adding more task/mood lighting in the kitchen and common living space; otherwise, hard to beat. Would definitely stay here again.

Great long weekend at a lovely little home. The house had everything we could have hoped for including a huge hot tup with a gorgeous view. Our only wish was for some sort of music-playing device, but thankfully we brought our own little speaker. Overall, highly recommend!

We booked Haven house for a snowboard trip to Skibowl on MLK weekend 2024. A horrible storm hit the area, taking down power with no restoration timelines. While there was no generator, the woodstove was functional to assist with the frigid air, and we managed to cook dinner utilizing the provided propane BBQ. iTripNW was fast, friendly, and responsive in assisting, and extremely understanding when we cut our trip short and were unable to complete check out procedures due to the lack of power/water.
The house is lovely, lots of space. Firewood/fireplace provided. Views were magnificent.
Wish they had a generator, we would have stayed even though skibowl closed.

We hosted our CA based family for a post Christmas celebration on the mountain. While the weather didn't cooperate and we weren't able to ski, the house provided a wonderful home base. Beds were very comfy, super clean, beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, and all around a great stay! My only critique is that softer overhead lighting would make for a more homey vibe :)

We rented this house for 5 nights and it did not disappoint, there were 5 adults and our 13 month old granddaughter. The house was clean and well appointed, we cooked in the kitchen and bbq’d on the deck. The inside was just as amazing as the outside, the hot tub is a nice bonus and you can’t beat the sound of the Sandy river below. Our only complaint would be that the trees have grown and blocked a lot of the river view, it’s only a partial view now of the river, but you still have the mountains. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there was also a pack n play provided. The location seems to be right in the middle of everything, an hour or so drive to many attractions. We highly recommend Silver Falls State Park for its waterfall hike and the town of Sandy just 15 minutes away…Joe’s Donuts are a must try! The property managers checked in with us
and were always extremely helpful. We loved Haven House!

This place was peaceful and spacious. I had a short reading and writing retreat there, and being able to take breaks in the hot tub, looking at the river, was marvelous. All of the rooms are well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was lovely. Definitely need a return trip! Perfect getaway from Portland.

This place is AMAZING. We will definitely plan on staying here again. Very cozy, yet spacious, warm, inviting house. Remodeled, up to date interior. The back deck over looking the river is mesmerizing. The hot tub is awesome. Snow was falling as we relaxed in the hot tub. Picturesque! Extremely clean house, clean kitchen with all the utensils and things you need and the bedrooms were super clean and cozy. Our kids were super excited to get back to the house to enjoy the upstairs loft bedroom area. 10 stars out of 5!

We were very happy with this home for a number of reasons. It was clean, spacious, in a quite neighborhood just off the Highway and only 20 minutes from the slopes! The host responded quickly to any and all questions. The hot tub was easy to use and very relaxing. Our 2 year old loved the loft bedroom above the garage! Great looking house but awful from the start. We asked to check in early and were told no because guests were checking out the same day. When we arrived the house was freezing as if no one had stayed there for days. The wood stove wasn't working well because the power to the fan had been removed and there were no clear directions on how to operate it without the fan. Called the office and they weren't sure either. We couldn't operate the TV except for the ROKU because they removed the TV manufacturer remote. The house would not warn up so we had to use our sleeping bags and heated blankets to get through the evening. Then at bedtime we lost water, couldn't shower or use the toilets. They sent someone at noon the following day but he couldn't fix it so they said we would need to leave, no offering to help us find another place and we couldn't find another place last minute for 5 of us adults to stay so we told them we had to return home and all they said to us was "Safe travels!". We were told they would refund us the last 2 nights but we were out the $400+ for the first miserable night. We will NEVER stay here or use iTrip Northwest again.

The outside deck is wonderful, a perfect way to end a busy day of sightseeing. Beds were VERY comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked and very organized. All the little extra details about this house really makes it a 5 star…hooks for hanging things in bedrooms & bathrooms, full length mirrors, cozy blankets, games for kids, entry way with tons of hooks for hanging coats when coming in. If we are ever in Oregon again we would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Retreat
We booked this property as a weekend escape and it did exactly that. It was a seamless process with the property manager communicating their desire for us to have the best possible stay. The property was extremely clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. Both a charcoal and gas grill were available out on the deck and the hot tub was beautiful at night. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

This house was a fantastic respite. Highlights include covered and lit hot tub, covered outside area to enjoy the light plinking of the rain, and the persistent waterfall-sounds of the river and majestic forest views right in the backyard.
Interned speed is 100 down/ 3 up so it was suitable for work and video calls as well as streaming. The Roku was a bit finicky but I discovered if you unplug/plug it back in the remote works properly again.
It might be helpful to know that the heat should be kept at around 73/74 (if it's cold out) and you want to stay warm. Otherwise it has a fireplace so bring some wood to complete the charm.
If you stay over a Tuesday they ask you to take the garbage down the driveway. It's a quick drive to Sandy if you need anything from a major store or local restaurants.

This house was exactly as described and worked out perfectly for our family over spring break. The inside was very clean and updated; bedrooms were comfortable; plenty of space for everybody. The outside deck and hot tub area was awesome, having some parts covered in case it rained and offering beautiful views of the river. Would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend!

The Perfect Home
This home looked just like it did in the pictures. It was clean and spacious. Check in and out was simple. All the beds were super comfortable and the mattress in the closet was a great addition. The back deck is large and the view is amazing. The hot tub was awesome after a full day of boarding!! The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare different kinds of meals. I would return to this property.
