We got a free room upgrade and for champagne and assorted fruit tray from the team. That was very much unexpected.
Thank you

Breakfast was good quality and friendly service
On arriving at the hotel in the evening, reception would not lend me an iphone charger and told me I had to wait until the following day when the hotel shop would be open to buy one, which was a shame as my phone was dead and pretty much everyone has an iphone charger. Many hotels I have stayed in have temporarily lent me one, or allowed me to purchase one from the hotel shop when it was closed.
On my first night, there was a brief knocking sound coming somewhere from the window. I couldn’t identify exactly where and ended up wearing headphones all night to prevent waiting for the next knock, which was not great.
In the process of complaining about the noise to reception the next day, it transpired that my King room with a city view had been ‘upgraded’ to a double queen without a view, at a higher level, but right below their bar on the top floor. The receptionist again was quite unfriendly and even though I showed him that the cost on their website for a king with a view was actually more than a double queen without one, and therefore that it was not an upgrade, he said with no sign of apology that the hotel was full and there was nothing he could do. I mentioned that it wasn’t right to change my room type without even telling me when I checked in. I then spoke with the manager who gave me the room I had originally booked and I made it to a King room thankfully with no noise.
The mattresses in both rooms were saggy in the middle and difficult to fall asleep on. There were only 4 choices of snacks in the minibar (and no chocolate). There were no pay per view movies available, only regular TV and Netflix, for which I needed to input my personal account which I declined to do.
The restaurant was excellent however along with the service.

I really liked this hotel
My room was really loud and I heard noise outside all night.
The sheets aren't very soft but other than those 2 I loved the hotel and everyone that worked there!

Staff, location, amenity, and design all great.
went there in part for a stylish and enjoyable pool and outdoor experience - but the pool was a total scene - with music intolerably load and large group scene occupying. the entire pool. Quite disappointing when you just want to chill pool side with a glass of wine and a book.

We booked it for the pool parties. So much fun. Alcohol prices aren’t actually that bad. The pool is 24 hours too which was awesome. Room was great very spacious. Nice rainfall shower. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in honestly.
