Enjoy views that reach the Pacific Ocean at Ke Nani Kai 113, a bright and cheery two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on Molokai's west end. Here on the ground floor of Ke Nani Kai, you'll have sliding glass doors that open to your private lanai, where you can relax in a lounge chair and take in the scene of the ocean, the beach, and the grassy area just beyond the patio. The interior has been recently updated and repainted, with works by local artists displayed throughout, Amazon's Alexa on hand to play any music you request, a 43-inch Smart TV with cable service, and WiFi for your convenience. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with every essential appliance, a dining space with a glass-top table, and a lovely living room that captures the island breezes from the lanai. You'll also have access to a wealth of shared amenities on the grounds, including an outdoor pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, and barbecue areas.
What's nearby:
Ke Nani Kai is a lovely property located on the west side of the island of Molokai, with grounds that include a large outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, two tennis courts, gas grills, lounge chairs for sunbathing, and tables for al fresco meals. It's about a five-minute walk down an access road to Kepuhi Beach, which is great for surfing in the winter months, ideal for swimming and snorkeling come summer, and the site of many paddle races to Oahu. You'll also be a short stroll across the old golf course from Papohaku Beach, one of the longest beaches in the state of Hawaii with waters that are rough in the winter but calmer for ocean swimming in summer. Ke Nani Kai is a half-mile stroll from Make Horse and its many tidepools, six miles northwest of the town of Maunaloa (the only town on the west end), and 19 miles west of Kaunakakai, where most grocery stores, art/gift shops, mini markets, restaurants, and equipment rentals are located. (In fact, if you rent bikes from Molokai Bicycle and mention Ke Nani Kai 113, the shop owner will give you a price break.)
This arid west side of Molokai, just 12 miles from the airport, is known for having less rain than the east side of the island. And the island-wide evening quiet hours make Molokai perfect for romance, families, solitude, and experiencing a glimpse of the real Hawaii away from the tourist crowds.

Lovely clean and breath taking view. Molokai is unique and solitary. Molokai has a population of about 7000 and stores close at 6:00pm. If you have a wanderlust for the unusual serenity... Go to Molokai...No big store name brands, go back to a nostalgic time of a small town. This is not the Ritz Carlton in New York City. This is lulling of the waves on the sandy shores. This is the sea breeze caressing your salted body and beckoning to enjoy the shallow waters. This is the lonely isolation of Molokai....

Beautiful view, nice and cozy. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The only problem we had was the water heater power kept tripping off. While using the shower someone had to stay close to the circuit breaker panel to keep flipping it back on. This happens about 5-6 times while using the shower. Everything else was perfect

Overall, our stay here was OK. The unit was clean, functional, comfortable, and had a great view. We had no major issues while here other than 1 day without hot water which took all day to address, and it was a very simple fix to the circuit board that I made after being made aware of the proper fix. A few additional amenities in the kitchen (food storage containers, measuring cups, veggie peeler) would make this a five star rental.

I understand Hawai'i is hard on appliances and metal. But this condo needs some assistance. We arrived to a flooded bathroom. While Vacasa was very willing to offer us a discount, we had no other option but to stay and close the valve on the toilet after each use. The refer freezer was dripping water into the refer we had to put a bowl under it. The front slider was off and difficult to lock. The back bedroom door was frozen shut, no air. The fan in the back bedroom squeaked all night. I would book a different condo.

I like the isolation and minimal traffic on this part of the island.

Great 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit
This is the third time we have stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit when traveling to Molokai. It is nice for our children to be on a ground floor and walk right out in the lawn to play. The washer and dryer in the unit is great for our family. We appreciate having coolers and chairs provided for the beach.

Unit 113 Ke Nani Kai
Room rates are on the cheaper side, but the cleaning fee comes out to more than the rent itself. This almost made me not want to even book the room. The pull out sofa mattress was old, worn, and very uncomfortable and the whole sofa and mattress should be replaced. The pillows on the couches should be washed because they were very dusty as if they hadn't been washed in a while. A towel from the closet that my brother had around his neck after he showered gave him a rash around his neck. Sheets on the pullout mattress were dusty and dirty and I washed before we went to sleep on it because it was very dirty. Other than that, unit was fairly clean. The appliances were a bit on the older side and could be updated with newer and better working appliances. The kitchen was a bit outdated too and could use a renovation, cabinets were old and worn.
