A comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on the quiet side of Door County. Located in downtown Bailey's Harbor and one block in from the main street. This house is within walking distance to the Marina, The Ridges Environmental Center, Door County Brewery, Harbor Fish Market & Grille, Chives Restaurant, Bailey's 57, Anclam Beach, shops, and all that Bailey's has to offer. Yet the home offers privacy in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Located across from Kendall Park which is fun for the kids and convenient for the Sunday Farmers Market.

The house was built in 1950 as a 3-bedroom, 1-bath home. In 1973 it received a major remodel which included a great room with a stone fireplace, and a master bedroom with a bath. Except for a few makeovers here and there, it remained that way for 46 years.

It recently underwent a significant transformation. The house has been renovated using repurposed materials from industrial buildings and barns from around Wisconsin as well as Amish-made cabinets and furniture.

The family room and the kitchen is generally one large area which is perfect for families. It has a stone, floor-to-ceiling fireplace surrounded by a comfortable seating area. There is a huge bar height table in front of a backlit timber and cream city brick wall with a coffee bar and sink. Patio doors lead to a private, spacious deck with ample seating and a gas fire table and grill. The kitchen overlooking the family room is set up with everything you need to enjoy family meals at home if you choose. On the other side of the house, down the hall, is where you will find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower and walk-in closet. The remaining 2 bedrooms each have a queen bed and a twin-XL bed along with a closet. Both bedrooms share the main bath at the end of the hall. It is a full bath with a shower over the tub. Additionally, the master bedroom walk in closet has been converted into a laundry area with washer and dryer for guests to use.

Stayed with a a group of girl friends . It was a great place to relax and so nice to walk to great restaurants and sites . The house was clean and wonderfully stocked. The owner responded very quickly when we had a question . We would all go back again!!

The place was wonderful, it looks just like the photos. It had so many interesting areas there was somewhere for everyone to hang out. Loved that we were so close to downtown, lots of things really walkable. We'll definitely be back!

I am always leery of rentals, because some aren't as described or leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. This home was even better than expected! The place was immaculate, and the host responded promptly to all of our questions. It's a half-block to the lake, and there's restaurants, stores, and coffee shops within walking distance. Our boys loved the park across the street. We were well-stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The location was walkable and so many Door County sites were accessible with a quick drive. We’d highly recommend a stay here - it was clean, cozy, sizable, and exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway.

Loved the property! Spacious and extremely clean! I am very particular about places I stay and find it difficult to be very comfortable in new places. I felt extremely comfortable and happy with this home right away. The house was spotless in every corner. Checking in/checking out was very easy. Loved being able to walk to loved coffee shops, brewery, lake and different restaurants!

This was our first time in Door County, and we thoroughly loved our visit with this home being the perfect fit for our family. It was clean, well-appointed, and felt very cozy and open at the same time. When we had to contact the owner about a couple of questions, he was prompt to respond and attentive. We liked being on the “quieter side.” We would return!

This was a great home and was everything we had hoped it would be. Very clean, all modern amenities in kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Easy access with keypad entry. Great location. Found Bailey’s Harbor to be pleasantly quiet and not touristy with shops. Rather, the Cornerstone Pub a block away had a great atmosphere and great food. Blue Ox and Sway brewery/coffee shop each a few blocks away were also great. And dinner at Chives yummy. But also easy drives to all the towns on the bay side. Walk out to the dock to look at stars was wonderful. Highly recommend! If I’m ever back in DC, I’ll definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what we wanted. There was enough space for us all. (Four adults and three children). Great location. We could walk to shops, beach and the harbor. We also enjoyed seating on the deck and listening to the birds.

We rented for a quick 3 night stay for grandma, aunt, me and my two daughters (16 & 19). Enjoyed the home very much - clean, nicely updated, comfy beds etc. The tall dining table was the perfect place to play games at night. I think it would be a great place to stay in the fall and winter too because it has a fire place and would be very cozy to tuck into during the snowy season. Highly recommend!

The place was exactly as pictured. It was close to downtown baily's harbor where there are lots of restaurants, close to beach, and has live music to enjoy. It was also close to everything. The house had a large yard and plenty of parking on the property and street. My family and I enjoyed the place and would definitely consider jt again in the future.

We have been to Door County several years ago. This was our first time to stay in Baileys Harbor. The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and 3 little people. The location was convenient to everything. Our favorite outing was the ferry ride to Washington Island and Schoolhouse beach. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Everything was just as pictured, if not better! Plenty of room for everyone and the kids had a great time playing at the playground directly across the street. The dining room table was plenty big to accommodate our party of 7. Was the perfect vacation house for relaxing at night in front of the fire and reading a good book. This was our first trip to Door County and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. The location was perfect to easily get anywhere we wanted in Door County yet it was nice and quiet where we were. We could tell the house had been updated in the past couple of years as it had a ton of modern amenities. It was perfect for our family of four and there would have been plenty of room for more people if needed. If we come back to Door County again we will definitely look at this place to stay again.

We visit Door County multiple times a year & always for our anniversary in the fall. This year another couple joined us for our 12th anniversary. This house was great! Walking distance to many of our fav places: Door Counting brewing co, Heirloom, Bearded Heart, Chives & more! This was in the heart of Baileys Harbor. Very well-stocked. We eat out when we visit DC but it would have everything you need to cook all your meals. Great game table & fireplace to enjoy the evenings. Lots of cozy blankets tucked in every room. Well stocked coffee bar (just bring your fav blend). This place was better than the photos & im hoping to book again next year!

What a great place to stay. Looked exactly like the pictures, Just as advertised. Walking distance to everything in Baileys Harbor The place was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable furniture and bed. Lots of room. There was only two of us but there would be more than enough room for 3 couples. If you don’t mind being a couple blocks from the water this place is for you.

This property was a dream come true. We loved how the main room had been redone with the reclaimed wood. The kitchen was wonderful, and I wished that I could have brought it home with me. There were Watkins' spices for guests to use--I also use Watkins' spices, so I felt at home. The newly renovated main bathroom was great. On our next trip to Door County, we would stay there again.
