About this house rental

This beautiful property borders willow lake park with spectacular views of Granite mountain and the Granite Dells. The deck offers an amazing spot to enjoy these views. This remodeled home has these amazing views visible from every room.

When Willow lake is full it comes right next to the property and during dryer times there is direct access to the hiking trails that surround willow lake. Watson Lake Park is, also, within walking distance where there are more views of the beautiful rock formations known as the dells.

This property is also only a 10-minute drive to historical Prescott town square.

We are very dog friendly and this place comes with a fenced in yard with a doggie door.

There is a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, microwave, oven, stove, and coffee maker.

The TVs are equipped with chromecast, hulu, disney, espn and more and although there currently is no satellite tv there are apps to get both local and national news.

There is a large parking area for RV/ Toy Trailers.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The home was clean and simple. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoyed the spectacular sunset views. Our dogs loved the yard and doggy door! And beautiful walking trails were right next to the house. We definitely recommend and hope to come back again.

The location is great! It’s right next to a really pretty path around the reservoir. We had a lovely time, very peaceful and quiet, and this house was well supplied (kitchen, baths.) I definitely recommend it!

Very clean, central location. No water view and listing pictures looked like there would be more privacy. Quiet side yard patio. Too much overgrown backyard for pet to be comfortable in. Cobwebs and needed raking. Had everything in house that we needed to be comfortable

Had a great time getting out of the heat. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the wind in the trees. Very comfortable furniture in the house. Enjoyed the hiking trail around the reservoir. Great location. Thanks!

Very relaxing location. Great for dog owners as hiking trails around the lake are steps away and also walking distance from some of the best burgers you will ever eat. The host was great to work with. Always prompt and very accommodating. Will definitely come back.

My 92 year old Dad and I stayed here for a long weekend while visiting my son who’s a student at a local university. The cottage suited perfectly and was very comfortable and convenient.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the dog door and fenced yard. Pups enjoyed playing outside. They ate a few sticks along the way. Couple miles from a Fry’s and Granite Mountain Pizza (delicious). Less than 10 minutes to Antelope Hills Golf and about 15 minutes to get back to busier parts of Prescott. House furnished well. Had everything we needed. Kitchen stuff was actually in great shape. Big fridge with ice maker, gas range etc. We would definitely rent again next time.

We enjoyed our stay and Luke was a great communicator. The beds and pillows were soft. The home had almost everything we needed, but I ended up going next door to borrow a can opener. The gas stove was nice to cook on. I would have liked a couple of dish towels and placemats, but only one kitchen drying towel was provided. The linens and bath towels were very nice. I appreciated the bottled water and was surprised to find bug spray, mints, spices, oil, coffee and filters, paper plates, and even dog biscuits. I would caution two couples sharing this place as only the master bath has electrical outlets for plugging in a curling iron or hair dryer (be sure to bring your own). It was fine for us because the small bath was used by our teenage son. The deck and view was my favorite part and the backyard worked well for our pup to potty, but that is all you can use it for.

Communication was great owner got back regarding check in fast. Property was good size and had a nice deck with patio set, brought my dog and had a fenced yard. I think the lake must of been dried up but had decent view of sunset. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need. About 15 minute walk to Watson Lake. Sammies Burger was about a 5 minute walk and would recommend.

Luke’s property was perfect for our family. Plenty of seating and very comfortable beds. Luke is a great host and was quick to respond to our questions. We took a few hikes on the trails right out the back door. Short drive to Prescott or Prescott Valley and close to the airport. We look forward to staying here again.

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood with a shady porch to relax and enjoy the view. We stayed with our dog and loved being able to walk out the front door and on to hiking trails in less than a minute.

Everything went smoothly and was well worth the trip. It was a simple set up, close to town and the things this area has to offer. It was a little warm, during our stay so we were glad for the A/C. Our most favorite part was how close we were to the trails because our dogs loved all the walking we did. We plan to stay here again!

Great place and close to everything. We were in town for a 4 day baseball tournament for my 13 year old. Went fishing at Linx Lake and visited Watson Lake and all was very close. On the last day we ran in town and went to breakfast and was also close. Loved the stay. Was very large for a family of 4 and well taken care of. We would definitely rent this place again.

While our overall stay was a good experience, there were a few things that I would like to address. Primary is the fact that the photos represent that the property is on a lake... it is NOT. Perhaps a decade ago there was a lake immediately in front, but with the drought, there is only meadowland. Secondly, a rather substantial cleaning fee is charged; one would expect the property to be clean, but it was only superficially cleaned. I had occasion to wipe up some spills from the floor, to have the paper towel be "black" from the dirt on the floor (I wasn't wiping up dirt). The walls/windows/window sills didn't appear to have been cleaned in several months. Baths were clean, as were all linens. Location was great for me; I am an avid hiker and I could leave the house and immediately get on a great trail just behind the house. Neighborhood was very quiet;. House is "dog friendly" with a fenced yard and doggie door. Keyless entry made check in a breeze. I would likely stay at this property in the future, as it has all of the things that I value.

The only thing we found lacking was no kitchen towels. The host met us and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay here again.
