Private dock with fishing, kayaks, and swimming. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Very nice time
8.0 / 10.0
The place is very nice. The cabin had everything we needed. But there are 116 steps down to the water. We have a boat, so we were up and down those stairs a lot. Good excise but also difficult to do carry things up and down in the heat.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and loved it. Super easy to get there and great hosts. Very clean and ready for us when we arrived. We absolutely loved the area and the location was great. It was awesome being right on the water! The full dock wasn’t in which was a bummer but we still loved the place and would stay there again if we come back! Thank you for the great trip!

The house was beautiful. It had everything that we needed. It was a little farther out than I anticipated. The address is in Harrison, but it was no where close to Harrison! It was 30-40 minutes of very curvy roads. As for the listing: there was no firewood for the fireplace. It had been raining so we couldn’t collect wood laying on the ground. The plumbing made a lot of crazy noises.

We loved the main floor with its spacious layout and large kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

The location was great, having direct access to the lake was awesome. We had fun kayaking and enjoying the deck spaces. The house was beautiful and stocked nicely! We will definitely be back!

Great house overall. Door code does not work. It is broken. There is an alarm at the back of the house on the outside that continually goes off. We had to keep pressing a button on the alarm for it to shut off. I called Vacasa twice about this and got no response. House is very well stocked with all necessities. There is a 100 steps down to the dock. Not an issue for us but could be for some people. Boat House needs to be cleaned up. Have 3 kayaks that are fun to use. Loved the location and decks to sit on. Small general store nearby and it has the best huckleberry ice cream.

We had a great time in this house. The house is very cozy, awesome view and the staircase from the house will take you down to the lake. It had everything we need to cook meals, entertain the kids and have a glass of wine on the deck for the adults. The care team was caring and responsive for questions. We look forward to come back some days. ~ Samantha

Great home, amazing dock! We were able to park our 25’ boat and the kids had a blast swimming off the dock. Short boat ride to CDA. Clean home, space for everyone. Great stay!

Amazing Home
Felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. It is winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside but that was still ok. Love the kitchen!!!

Beautiful home on the lake
This property was gorgeous and just like the pictures. We had a question about the fire place and got it answered immediately! The home was also VERY clean! The only thing is there were dishes left in the dishwasher. I think they were clean but we had to unload someone else's dishes before we could run ours and the trash from previous guests was out front in the trash cans. Other than that the views were beautiful and so cozy! Definitely a workout to go from the house to the dock so I wouldn't recommend elders, but great for a family! We had a wonderful time. Far enough out to be peaceful and quiet bit close enough to go I to Coeur d'alene.

Excellent Property, Poor Management
I will list out the Pro's and Con's
Pro's
1. The pictures of the listing are accurate and we loved the location of! It's about a 20 minute drive from Coeur D'Alene and there is a handy little gas station/market about a mile away
2. The upstairs bed is super comfy!
3. The kitchen is well appointed with all the utensils one should need to cook and clean (provided the utensils are clean...refer to Con)
4. The private dock is excellent! We spent quite a bit of time down by the lake on the dock and utilized the kayaks to go out and about in the cove!
Cons
1. Check in was a bit of a fiasco. I called the mgmt. company (Vacasa) and requested an early check in. I was denied and told that the cleaners were still in the home. Well...that was a big lie because when we showed up at 4:30 the entire home had yet to be cleaned!! Literally trash not taken out, dirty sheets and towels everywhere on the floor. Countertops not cleaned. We called Vacasa and they were very nice and apologetic and got a cleaner to come out asap but that process consisted of having to wash all of the sheets and towels so she wasn't gone until about 7:30. We hung out on the dock which was fine but needless to say that was a terrible first impression and if the weather wasn't good we would have been stuck in the house with a cleaner cleaning.
2. The water pressure is absolutely awful in the upstairs bathroom. And when I say awful I mean almost so bad that you can't even wash soap off.
3. A lot of the utensils that we used were obviously not cleaned well. Prior food still stuck on spatula's, forks, knives, etc. etc.
Additional
1. There is a small shed on the boat dock that the owners were kind enough to leave open. There are floaties, fishing rods, chairs, etc. The fishing rods don't have reels that work but we still managed to rig them up and caught a few fish. Most of the other supplies are worn and need replacing but generally storage places like these are locked and for owners only so it was nice to be able to use what we could.
2. I left my Ipad and a Bose headphone at the lodge when we left. Vacasa was able to send someone out there to get them and ship them to me. The process took a while but I was thankful to get the items back.
3. All in all it's a great place. It just needs more attention to detail. The people at Vacasa are friendly but if i were the owner I would be seeking new mgmt. or at minimum having a stern conversation with them

Disappointing
We checked in to a filthy home. We spent about half hour CLEANING counters, vacuuming floors. The dishwasher was full with dirty dishes.
The property had NO working TV (you must provide your own Netflix or Hulu, wasn’t disclosed and we use peacock). Internet went out Tuesday (fuse blown, and none provided to fix). We spend the entire time with no TV or internet.
The “hot” water only worked in one shower, none in the kitchen to wash dishes.
I called IMMEDIATELY upon checkin. I sent pictures of the dirty floor (hard to see in pics but I guess that why you ask). I was called THREE times before 9am on Tuesday to follow up about my calls/emails. She promised she’d reach out to supervisor and follow up with me, and I NEVER HEARD BACK!!!!
I will be calling and contesting the charge with my credit card company.

Beautiful home!!
We loved staying here. It is a gorgeous house-spacious and clean, with a well equipped kitchen. We made several meals there and had everything we needed. We appreciated the laundry machines and had plenty of hot water with the showers. It has very comfortable beds, and an amazing view from the deck. We loved eating outside with the view of the sunset on the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and tubes and saw a bunch of shooting stars from the deck at night. There are a lot of stairs from the water to the house but it's worth the exercise :) Can't recommend this house highly enough!

Great home for lake vacation
The home is as advertised. Very well
Stocked with extra linens and all your needed cooking ware. The home is in an excellent location in Neachen Bay. If your not familiar with Coeur D Alene this location is exceptional and gives easy access to the main resorts, stores, and restaurants on the north side of lake.
We loved the stay here, very clean home and everything worked. This isn’t a great option if you are older or have bad mobility and you want spend time on the water. There are a lot of stairs to the lake as the house sits up quite high. Giving amazing views but it’s a lot of work to go back and forth to the water. The dock had several kayaks and water toys available for use. Efficient floor plan that is great for a family.
