This place was perfect for my family, a beautiful beach with hardly any other people, the house was fun with great history, and the host was very responsive. We loved it!

We spent 7 days at the Treasure House and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. I love the 3 separate living areas as everyone had their own space -- this home is breathtaking!!!! The location is like having your own personal beach -- I think we saw about 10 people total in the 7 days we were there, and around 8 sea turtles among the waves everyday. Most days it was your beach 😀 Communication with the host, Deanna -- such a pleasant individual -- was easy and fast. If you're looking for a beachhouse -- this is the house for you.....you will not be disappointed.

Even with some rainstorms that popped in from time to time, the visit delivered the "magic" that we expected and then some. The property was perfect sized for our family, giving my wife and I our own privacy in the main house while the kids and grandkids stayed in the guest house. The common area on the main house was great for meals, watching television, playing games, etc., even after the little ones went back to the guest house for bed time.
The decor was fun and screamed the theme of pirates and treasure. Tons of interesting decorations and themed stuff to check out.
The pool and the hot tube provided a great retreat, especially for those who didn't want to fight the waves of the ocean.
From beginning to end, the hostess was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful and we're considering staying at one of their properties again.
On a side note, we built on the pirate themes, decorations, etc. by having a treasure hunt for the kids, complete with clues, a treasure map that led them around the property and their own individual treasure chests filled with goodies. It was a blast.

We took our two sons, their wives and 3 small children for a week's vacation. It was fabulous! Everyone had their own space yet we were able to gather in the main cabin, on the patio and at the pool. There was little need to leave at all. My three year old grand daughter was thrilled with the pirate and treasure chests! We plan to come back and stay again! Communication with property owner was excellent.

This is a wonderful VRBO. The communication between host and renters is A+. Very easy to contact and responsive. The location is beyond wonderful. The check in and out process is so easy.
Beach access is fantastic. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. I cannot say enough about the pirate themed home. It made for a unique experience. We had a wonderful pirate themed evening with fun family photos to remember this unique and beautiful place. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all our friends.

We were very pleased with everything! The pictures were very accurate. The location was great as we had the ocean side to ourselves. Deanna was an excellent host and always got right back with me whenever I had any questions.

Our stay at this exceptional oceanfront home was nothing short of magical. From the onset, the host Deanna, was prompt and set a high standard of service that remained consistent throughout our stay. It was reassuring to know that any questions we had was just a quick message or phone call away from being addressed.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the pristine condition of the home. It was evident that meticulous care had been taken to ensure the home was clean, well stocked and inviting. The beds were a dream to sleep in, offering the comfort needed after long days at the beach. Having the opportunity to spend time on the beautiful deserted beach with the family are memories that will always cherished. But it was the view that truly took our breath away. The endless ocean vista from the comfort of the home was a daily source of tranquility and thankfulness. Whether it was sipping morning coffee or enjoying evening meals at the home the backdrop of the ocean added a touch of magic to every moment. The outdoor amenities including the pool and jacuzzi were the cherries on top of an already delightful stay. They provided the perfect respite after a day at the beach. The celestial displays we witnessed were some of the most spectacular we've ever seen. Our experiences, both within the home and in the surrounding natural beauty have left us with cherished memories and a deep sense of gratitude.
Highly Recommend A+++

Our Christmas, family vacation with nine of us (aged 19 to 58) could not have been more extraordinary!
Imagine an ocean-side compound with private beach path on one side and inter coastal access on the other-across from a gated driveway. On property you find a treasure themed, antique filled, master-bedroom/one bath ocean front House-with a stocked, large kitchen, wonderful window light, and plenty of areas for all residents to laugh and enjoy time together. Linked by a tropical boardwalk path, is the rest of the property that includes a separate funky beach house with a downstairs master, one bedroom bath, and an upstairs master, one bedroom bath and two other semi-private bedrooms, including a very cool loft that is above another full kitchen!
The experience offered by this layout was ideal for our family, offering privacy and collective spaces. There are plenty of nooks and comfy sitting areas outside and of course the hot tub was visited each night by our kids The pool offers, plenty of seating and the table side, oceanfront patio, covered, was a favorite spot as well
Deanna, the owner, was wonderful to work with, and made our stay ideal. She’s available, gracious and quick to respond.
We brought our dog, and he loved the experience as much as all who stayed with us. Entirely enclosed Property, insured, safety, and privacy for all.
The beach is uncrowded and the location is 10 minutes away from everything you might need.
We loved it!!

After two days of Disney with the grandkids, the unique Treasure House “compound” was a great place to relax and explore on the beach. The front yard beachfront access was so convenient and the sound of waves lulling.
The two quirky and rustic separate houses gave everybody space and a variety of sleeping arrangements .
The incredible private dock access across the street was a treat for the grownups who like to fish. Ca as much as we could eat of Sheepshead, snapper and black bass for dinner using live shrimp in the honey hole under the dock at the very end.
Wildlife is abundant so make sure you bring insect repellent for the no-seeums that come out at night.
The owner was friendly and very responsive and helpful. It felt like staying at a friends house.

From check-in to checkout our property manager Deanna assisted us with the detail information that was needed to make our weekend an "outstanding " stay. Her detail information sheet was so helpful. The pool and the hot tub were clean and made our stay even better than we thought possible for the family. It was truly an experience for the entire family, from 6 years to 73 years old.

The kids went from the pool, to the hot tub, to the ocean. So did we actually. The view was perfect. Thanks again.

This property is hard to describe in words, because it was so absolutely beautiful! The breathtaking views of the beach will stay in our memories for a lifetime. our children ages five and seven enjoyed all of the amenities. The pool was clean and provided lots of toys for the kids to play with the hot tub area was very clean and one of our favorite spots to hang out. The beach was spectacular and the waves were not too bad that we were able to swim every day. At night we would take long walks on the beach as the crabs would run out of their holes, and the stars were the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The house had hidden gems all over, honoring the sunken ships and their treasure. Every room was filled with nautical decor specific to the house. The small library was filled with pirate and shipwreck stories. The dock was located across the street in great condition and had an amazing view of the river. Great place for us to store our rental boat overnight. The Fresh Market, Walgreens/ CVS and Publix were located in a short distance away from the house making it easy for us to cook each night. We would highly recommend this house for your next beach vacation for an active family that likes to explore!

"Nannie's Treasure Weekend" was a blast at the Treasure House. My family, including grown children and their kids, had so much fun at this house. A very special Treasure Hunt for the little kids was enjoyed by all, as well as family times fishing on the Indian River dock, playing in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, hunting crabs on the beach, and enjoying nightly happy hour on the oceanfront deck. We loved everything about this vacation and The Treasure House! I particularly loved the history of this house and the decor and ambiance that emphasized this history. Deanna was most accomodating and helpful, too! Thank you so much for this memorable family experience!

This home was truly an amazing experience and had lots of charm. When it says on the beach, that is exactly what it means. The pool was clean and lots of toys in the shed. The house was clean! My kids loved this whole experience. The only thing, there were little sand fleas everywhere and that isn't the homeowners fault. I think bugs in general are horrible this year, everywhere!
If we get the chance I think we will return.

This was the most well stocked rental I’ve ever been to. Beach access was amazing, to be able to go back and forth, use the bathroom, access the kitchen etc and be back at the beach in two minutes was great. Very private.

The whole experience was Golden. The property and the accessories that were included is anything and everything you could want. The property manager Deanna was wonderful and the grounds maintenance man Jason was excellent and accommodating. The whole family had a blast and the treasure hunt for our young pirates was a great success!!! They found the buried chest full of gold silver and jewels.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There's really not much more I can say that hasn't already been said in the other reviews. This was a great place to vacation for 2 families with kids vacationing together. Everything you could ask for and more. The beach is incredible. Fishing was great on both the beach, and in the river. We even got to see a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral.

Very unique and amazing place! Ocean on one side river on the other. We had two family's with 4 adults and 5 kids (17-12) and it was fantastic.

Where do I begin? This is an amazing and interesting property. Kind of like staying in a comfortable museum. The property has a history of it's original use as a home base for treasure hunters in the '60's for ships sunk along the Treasure Coast from the 1715 fleet. Lots of books and information available to peruse in the home's library regarding this history and the experiences of the 8 explorers.
Beyond that, it is the best VRBO beach house we have stayed at along Florida's Atlantic and Gulf coasts -- and we have stayed at many through the years. It has everything you could ask for in a beachfront property to make your stay more memorable than any other.
Finally, Deanna, the hostess and contact, was immediately responsive to any questions, issues you may encounter and suggestions to help make your stay as enjoyable as it can be.. She is a gem!
Do not miss this wonderful property!

This very special place is an absolute gem! We loved its location-- right on the beach AND the intracoastal waterway. This means that you can watch the sunrise at the beach in the morning, and then in the evening, walk across the road and watch the sunset from the dock. How awesome is that?!!!
We did not want to be close to town, so this location was perfect. We cooked a lot, but drove to Vero or Sebastian a few times for a special dinner out. We honestly didn't even want to leave the property. The beach is beautiful, and full of shells, but not full of people. We hardly saw anyone during our weeklong stay. It was like having our own private beach.
Deanna is an amazing host! She even let us check in early, since no one was checking out that day. Jason (the handyman) was friendly, helpful, and just a great guy. He even gave us some tips on the best times to swim and where to find the larger shells.
This home has quite a history and it was fun to learn about the Treasure Coast. We stayed in the main house, but there is a ton more space in the separate guest house, so you could easily host quite a large group comfortably.
The above-ground is heated by the sun during the day. It felt really nice to take a dip in the evening, when the air was cool. We didn't even have time to use the hot tub. Maybe next time.
We loved sitting on the patio and having cocktails while watching the waves lap the shore. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of the surf. We truly felt like we were in paradise. We hope to be lucky enough to return to this special place in the future.

Our 3-generational family of 7, plus dog, enjoyed an adventure at the Treasure House--
Indoor and outdoor tables, each seating 6; 4 outdoor barstools to enjoy sunrise with coffee; beach level bathroom; functional
gas grill WITH gas; well sto cked spices, Keurig k cups, paper towels, garbage bags,
toilet tissue, toiletries;
beach towels;
surfboards/paddleboard, 4 bikes; kids' beach toys, pool inflatables, warm water shower near the huge hot tub, 6 garbage cans, fast internet, parking for 3-5 vehicles.
Handyman cleaned hot tub and blew on-site debris daily.
Washer/dryer for each home kept towels clean.
Our pointer enjoyed neighbor dogs on beach.
Fishing from owner's private pier on river in front/across street from property, and treasure hunting with rented metal detectors, provided hours of entertainment.
Vacationers can view Cape Canaveral launches from property.
We moved in, felt totally at home/slept well on comfortable mattresses, then departed with little mandated cleanup/ laundry/ dishwashing.
Hats off to owner Deanna for timely responses and attention to EVERY detail!

We booked this stay because our house flooded and we needed a place for our family to gather for Christmas. We ended up having an amazing time and numerous family members have called for it to become an annual tradition. Beautiful house right on the ocean. Deanna is a gracious, communicative yet nonobstrusive host. Readily available and easy to get a hold of. She even personally helped locate a coveted lost flip flop after we left! Definitely 5 Stars and we will definitely be back!☺️

Cabin Wreck was the perfect place for a mini family reunion to celebrate a graduation! The multiple spaces & separate guest houses allowed private time & great gatherings! Truly right on the beach so be ready for some ocean breezes!!!

We really enjoyed the size and multiple places to gather. It is right on the ocean so the tiki hut was our favorite. Great communication with the owners!

I just can't say enough positive things about this rental! First, the host Deana was the best!!! The house and guest house are very large, immaculate, and fully stocked with the essentials+++. The beds are so amazingly soft, my son said it was like sleeping on a marshmallow! The main "Cabin" is astounding, like taking a step back in time, and if you are into treasure hunting and the history of the same this is the place for you! Also, if you want some serios peace and quiet and "down time" this is the place for you. It's 3 steps to the beach and in our week we only saw 2 people on the beach the entire week! What I loved was that the main house had all kinds of cabinets full of "treasure" so if you went snooping you would find chocolate coins in various drawers...so fun and educational...just one of the best rentals we have ever had!

The property was well appointed with kitchen items and very comfortable. Private with a beautiful beach just steps away. Within 20 minutes in any direction, there are lots of dining options and beautiful nature to enjoy! We felt like we were staying in a museum :)

We loved the house! Only problem was the seaweed in the ocean - first time I've ever encountered that on the Atlantic side.

Great place, cool history.
Our stay was great. The beach was empty in mid- July which we love. Beachfront property with additional dock on the Indian River. The "cabin" and it's history around the discovery of the 1715 Fleet is really interesting. The guest house allows plenty of room for everyone with a second kitchen. The owner was super responsive to any questions and happy to give suggestions and help. It is an older property so small bathrooms were probably the only drawback to the house. The area is beautiful but know that you are 15-20 minutes from everything, which is great for the beaches being less crowded. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

The treasure house
The Treasure House? Amazing place to vacation! Every part of the property is wonderful. Everyone in our family, 70 year olds, 30 year olds and four and one year old toddlers, loved it. Let me count the ways.
You’re right on the beach, which felt completely private. Only a few walkers came past us all week. The back patio area has a covered cabana with table and chairs and also a bar height table and stools looking directly toward the beach and horizon. The main house, named the Pirate House by the kids, is a perfect gathering, cooking, dining and playing place. The décor is a wonder. Everywhere you look is another fun and special object or artwork or furnishing you will love. The Guest House is lovely, comfortable and spacious. There is a hot tub, there is a laundry, there are extra everything you need. There is a pool! There is parking. Three refrigerators. Very comfortable beds! Another covered area we called the blue patio, and benches all along the way.
All of this is contained in your own, gated property.
Across the road is a private dock, where you have access to kayaks and life jackets. They are fun.
Communication with the owner was great. A friendly and helpful handyman came to treat the pool and service the dryer vent. Check in/out procedures and trash instructions were simple.
Every activity was easy for us. Adults had quiet places to read or relax, play games, use a tv, serve drinks and snacks after kid bedtimes, you name it. The four year olds swam, built castles, collected shells, played board games, read books, ran and jumped, built with their toys and played cars and trucks. The pirate and treasure theme added to their imaginary play. All wonderful. The one year old girls traveled the length and breadth of the houses, floated and swam in the pool, played with all the toys.
The Treasure House is well named, because it is a treasure of a vacation spot. Book it if you have the chance. Take it from us.

Our stay at the Treasure house was so much fun. The days and evenings were full of adventure - relaxing on the beach, swimming in the surf, walking the beach for treasures, sunsets on the dock across the street while fishing or taking a dip in the pool to cool off. The house was spacious and comfortable for the whole family. Deanna was most helpful at all times and responded without haste. Any questions or issues were handled as promptly as possible. The house was the most completely equipped home we have encountered, and this was our 11th time renting on the East Coast. We hope to return to this treasure house again in the future.
