Disappointed

Lovely recently renovated and sparkling clean villa, great pool. Lovely gardens. Lovely tropical fruit on arrival along with bread, milk and juice in the fridge.

Things that were stated as available in the booking.com ad, pre arrival email and email enquiry, were actually not available. Eg tumble dryer, bed linen, pantry staples, rubbish bin liners, teaspoons, coffee plunger, beach chairs.... On request coffee, tea salt/pepper, cooking oil, marmite were promptly supplied. Other things were not. . The owner told us frequently he was very busy and it felt like a nuisance to repeat our requests. The pool had a lot of plant material in the bottom on arrival, this was not cleaned at all during our 10 day stay with 2 young children. We ended up cleaning it ourselves. The ants in one bathroom were prolific and we ended up buying spray to deal with these. There were no brochures, maps or guest information. While these were all inconveniences it was disappointing for accommodation at $500 a night and impacted our family holiday.

Exactly what we were after - clean house, great location, pool and garden and lovely hosts

We loved the house as it was very functional, well equiped and clean. The grounds were amazing, lots of space for our kids to explore. The pool was the highlight and the little playground was great too. The outdoor living area is fab. We found ourselves getting food from local places and coming back to the house to eat as it was very relaxing, especially with a toddler. Also, the beds were really comfortable and the temperature of the house was perfect with the fans on. The hosts were also lovely and very accommodating.

Lovely location, very accomidating, nice pool and perfect for your own home away from home feeling. Owners were great also.

Very happy stay with helpful caring hosts

Location was excellent, house was ready for us and hiring a car with them was excellent service too. Pool was fab and clean. Bedding was excellent. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Laundry was easy to use and loved the matching pegs!

Island time revisit

Fantastic 3 bedded villa, owners Jaret and Amber are welcoming and treat you more like family members than guests.(we stopped in Villa Marino) Excellent customer service, we have stopped here before and it is a magical place to stop . They have kayaks and shared pool. A hop to the beach ,about 10 minutes walk to resteraunts and cafes and 15 to 20 mins walk to lagoon tours . These guys also have a car rental business as well. Go CookIslands car rentals .

Beautiful stay, you will see us again!

The outdoor area!! Especially the outdoor shower, and the privacy that the exceptionally designed gardening landscape provided. The indoor area was also very spacious.

Amazing spot for families

This place has it all; location - easy walk to beach with good snorkelling, coffee next door, massages across the road and Muri is just a short drive away with lots of food and activities. On site it was sooo well equipped, even with tea n coffee and the pool is fantastic. We used the kayaks almost every day and the swings scattered around the property kept our 2 year old very happy.

probably the only thing letting it down is a lack of aircon. The fans are great and it’s not a deal breaker, but that would have been our only gripe.

Travelled half way around the world for this holiday, the villa and hosts were worth every mile!

Perfect location, private lane to the beach across the road. The Villa has everything you could wish for including very invested hosts who are committed to ensure you have the best possible stay.

Blissful week

The villa was so comfortable and spacious, and fully equipped with everything you could need. We lived on the huge covered veranda, lounging on the sofas or in the hammock. The pool was perfect for a dip to cool off. The gardens are beautiful and so private, you don't see the other villa or any other houses around. The location is great, a 1min walk to the beach or 18 min to the center of Muri. There is a dairy/liquor store, fish and chip shop and bar within 2 minutes walk. Having the full kitchen, BBQ and laundry was a massive bonus. We loved our stay and would 100% recommend, and hope to return soon.

Fantastic home away from home away from the wind with lots of relaxing space and just a walk across the road to the beach. Spacious and tasteful with everything you needs. Great communication and support with car hire. 10/10 and would definitely return here. Thank you Jaret and Amber!

Perfect, don't hesitate to book or you'll miss out on a great experience.

Everthing was just perfect. Hosts, location, spaciousness, gardens, rooms, fully equipped kitchens and BBQ. We hired both homes for a multi-generation family holiday and it worked really well for all ages. This is one of the best holidays we've had and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for your kindness Jaret and Amber, you have a very special place and you're doing a fabulous job hosting.

Just stay in paradise and don't go home!

The gardens are beautiful and nicely laid out with privacy between the two villas with the lovely pool in a garden setting in the middle of the grounds. Comfortable living with lovely wide porch and outdoor furniture ,hammocks and deck chairs, bbq. and inside you have spacious Lounge and entertaining area. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. Kitchen well supplied. Jared and Amber , hosts...are very friendly ,.helpful and will meet you on site at some point during your stay. We were here when New Zealand went into L4 lockdown which certainly had its effect on the Cook Islands and the holiday experience. However they went above and beyond to help accommodate us under the changing circumstances. We so enjoyed being here and would definitely re-book if we were to come back again.

Local dogs wander everywhere..friendly enough but don't encourage them or they will adopt you.! On Sunday's most things are closed and Saturdays you'll need to book things early as everything closes around 1. You can easily have a lazy day at the beach or snorkeling but just plan around that day. WiFi and Internet is a bit hit and miss... and you buy Vodafone coupons to get on the WiFi.

Paradise

Island Time Villas is truly a home away from home. It has everything and more! Loved the pool, tropical gardens and outdoor living especially and a beautiful private beach just across the road. Heaven! It’s also close to some of the best snorkelling and dining spots on the island. Jaret and Amber were amazing hosts. The villa is beautiful, immaculate and the welcome fruits and condiments were a nice surprise. Jaret also went the extra mile — literally — when our travel plans changed. An unforgettable experience all round.

Superb

The property is spacious, very well equipped with immaculate gardens, a pool and lounges to scape from the world. The hosts are absolutely awesome and welcoming. The property is a short walking distance from the shops and the beach. It’s quiet as it sits behind the hustle.
