We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was just as pictured, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The big windows and wonderful views are amazing, yet you are right in town. The location is convenient to restaurants and shops, as well as just a short walk to the gondola. We loved being able to walk out the door and access trailheads for wonderful hikes without ever getting into the car.

Unit was comfortable and recently updated with new furnishings and bathrooms; it was also in a good location with breathtaking views. Note that there is no longer a tub in the unit only two showers. While we liked the unit itself, the first night we arrived, we had an issue with a breaker tripping and shutting off the lights in the kitchen and dining area. After calling Vacasa customer service to locate the breaker box, we reset the breaker multiple times but it continued to trip each time we used the lights. The following day, Thursday, we called to again report the problem and were told by Vacasa customer service that they would follow up. With no response, we called again Friday and finally spoke with a customer service representative who indicated that he would elevate the issue and have an electrician out to the unit on Saturday. By late in the afternoon on Saturday, no electrician had arrived, so we again called Vacasa customer service. About 30 minutes later, two maintenance men arrived, looked at the breaker box, turned on and off the light switches and confirmed that the breaker was tripping when both the kitchen and dining room lights were on. They then stated the obvious, that an electrician needed to come and replace the breaker. They suggested that we not use both sets of lights at the same time to see if that helped until an electrician could come on Sunday. Maintenance personnel then called about an hour later and said that an electrician would not be able to come until Monday (the day of our checkout) but that he would try to find a replacement breaker and come Sunday to attempt to repair. Maintenance never returned and we were forced to alternate lighting the remainder of our stay. Note that the kitchen and dining area is open concept with a peninsula so having to alternate lighting affected cooking, serving and eating each meal during our stay.

This condo was in a perfect location in town a short walking distance to restaurants, morning coffee, shopping and the town park where we watched a day of the jazz festival. The street its on is tree lined with sidewalks and cute houses, the prettiest we thought. We also took a few hikes right from town which were quite beautiful and strenuous enough (5.3 mile steady ascent to Blue Lake for example). Every morning we woke up to stunning, steep up-mountain views from very large/tall windows in the livingroom. It was like being in a terrarium. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms brand new and great looking. The kitchen is very adequately equipped. We made big breakfasts everyday and smoothies at cocktail hour. The deck is a pleasant spot for a few people to sit and admire mountains and watch the gondola.
The reason for the four star rating is that the entry stairwell and parking area was not cleaned in awhile and very off putting upon arrival. This seemed largely due to the restaurant on the street level. They piled up their garbage, mops and brooms behind the restaurant which is where we our unit had a parking space. Maybe the condo association should pressure them to tidy up, better organize their outdoor garbage and patio and wash the area daily. I didnt appreciate seeing garbage, unswept areas and cobwebs.
We had a great week (in spite of my aversion to messes) and would recommend this condo for a cozy, comfortable, moderately priced choice for families or two couples.
