Perfect host, perfect home

The host knows I'm going to rave about this place because I told him at the time, but I absolutely loved it. He is super friendly and knew it was me as soon as I was into his shop, like he was waiting for us. The apartment is gorgeous, so quiet but right in the thick of things. We were right at the top with a balcony overlooking the garden and rooftops. Everything is so well thought out, the kitchen is great, the bed super comfy, bathroom spotless. Definitely a little home from home. Would love to return.

That I didn't buy a bag from his amazing leather shop downstairs.

One of the better places i’ve stayed at with a wonderful host.

I loved every single thing about this place. It checks all the boxes: -Very cost effective given location. -Located absolutely perfectly in the center of charming old town. -The unit is very nice and well taken care of, bed is comfortable. Giorgio was clearly considerate of what travelers might need. -Giorgio himself is the extremely friendly and helpful. He gave great food, activity and practical recommendations for our stay.

L'accueil et les échanges avec les hôtes très avenants et disponibles, location exceptionnelle !

L'accueil personnel et l'amabilité des hôtes. L'emplacement idéal au calme côté jardin, à deux pas de l'embarcadère et avec un parking gratuit à 100 m. Giorgio ainsi que ses parents sont des personnes adorables qui vous réserveront un accueil exceptionnel.

Excellente Lage - obwohl mitten in der Altstadt gelegen sehr ruhig

Ich hätte mir gerne kurz deutschsprachige Nachrichten im Fernsehen angesehen und fand weder Sender noch eine gedruckte Bedienungsanleitung. Muss allerdings erwähnen, dass ich nicht intensiv suchte und auch nicht den Vermieter (Giorgio) darauf ansprach. Hier läge noch Verbesserungspotenzial.

Everything ! Giorgio and his family were very nice, and very helpful concerning what to do in Stresa :) The apartment is very well located, in the center of Stresa, everything is nearby (even the boat to visit Borromean islands). The apartment was modern and very calm. Next time we are in Stresa, we will definitely come back there :)

Perfect stay - we would definitely come back

Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Our apartment was very clean and in a perfect location within a couple of minutes to restaurants, bars or beach. Yet, accommodation was super quiet. In the mornings we enjoyed a cup of coffee outside overlooking the garden.

Incredible people and place!

Everything. Super hosts who are so friendly and willing to provide one with information. Quiet yet central location. The apartment was clean, impeccably furnished and the bathroom was spacious. Ola good aircon in the room with a smart TV, comfortable bed and pillows. Really wonderful place and people!

Nothing. The only recommendation is to maybe have bins in the room for separating various trash as we were notified that trash needed to be separated, but not too sure where in the room we were supposed to do that without having to go outside to the refuse area. But this is a non-issue.

Fantastic location close to the lake and ferries for the islands, central yet peaceful. Our apartment was well equipped with all the necessities and a very comfortable bed. Giorgio and his family have been extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back! ❤

Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Facilities we’re up to date and fresh. Handy location only 2 mins walk to Stresa ferry terminal and lots of restaurants close by. hosts were very helpful and welcoming.

A gorgeous tranquil apartment in a really nice town.

The apartment block has been built in the grounds of the family business in the centre of Stresa. There is a terrace area directly outside the property overlooking the beautifully kept gardens with a table and seating for relaxing in or eating as well as a nice drying rack for towels and washing if needed. Despite the apartment being right in the centre of Stresa it is so quiet and tranquil because the buildings in front of the apartments act as a buffer against any noise. It is lovely to just stroll out of the apartment in the evening to find yourself in the midst of the shops and restaurants which are delightful and the service very good. The owner of the property and the family members are extremely genuine, warm and welcoming and the owner is always nearby to help with any problems or queries. The owner takes great pride in the apartments too. Everything is immaculate and very comfortable. We loved our stay here.

you have to stay here when you visit stresa!

cannot write anything bad about this property. staff were so attentive and went beyond to ensure our stay was lovely. they offered information on places to visits, car parking. they were so welcoming and amazing. room was so clean, spacious, outside area was perfect, bed was so comfortable, room had amenities and we will 100% come back and stay here again

Amazing accommodation is wonderful town!

We absolutely loved our stay at Garden Lodge and could not have asked for anything more. All our needs were catered for as they have thought of everything a guest would need… and more! The owners own the shop next door and were always on hand to offer advice on where to visit or eat. They were very accommodating, friendly and all their recommendations were brilliant. They anticipate any needs you may have, even leaving out umbrellas for us on a rainy day! We are grateful to them for their amazing hospitality and highly recommend the Garden Lodge and its amazing location to anyone considering staying in Stresa.

This a fabulous place to stay. It is an immaculate new very well thought out apartment complete with small kitchen, big bathroom, very comfortable bed and linens and a balcony facing a very quiet garden courtyard. And it is mere steps from the wonderful busy centre of Stresa. But best of all is the absolutely charming service we received from Giorgio. Highly recommended…we just loved our stay here.

A very special stay at modern and ideally located apartments run by wonderful friendly hosts.

Such a wonderful friendly and generous family. A pleasure and a privilege to stay at one of their fabulous apartments. We very much enjoyed the company of the family team Sergio/ Silvana and son Giorgio and many years special assistant Nadia. The location is only a few meters from the square yet off the street and so peaceful with a garden patio. Very modern and so well presented. Nice touch with the coffee machine. And yes if one feels like buying quality leather ( I did:) their shop is the entrance to the apartments. Understandably these well run apartments with such friendly hosts is very popular.Consequently booking well in advance is recommended. Again our appreciation Giorgio. Perfect!! such a beautiful hotel right in the center of stresa, close to resteraunts, the lake, supermarkets and boat trips, the host and staff were amazing and went out of there way to make sure we had an amazing stay!
