The view was fabulous and we had a private patio to have our delicious Italian breakfast and coffee. Lovely remodeled room and it felt so private. Birdsong and fragrant flowers and quiet. It was wonderful
It was a challenge to get to the room pulling luggage so if you have any walking or strength problems it just isn’t the place for you.

Extremely cool and stylish room. spacious and with a great view. Very clean and super nice bathroom. Stefania was so easy and nice to deal with.
For us with a car it was perfect, but difficult if you don’t.

The house is newly renovated and the work was well done. It sits at the very top of a very winding and steep lane and is only accessible if you have a car. It's about a 10-15 minute from Porto Venere.

The room had spectacular views to the Poet’s bay and Portovenere directions, Very tidy and confortable Rooms to spend some time as well!
The location is a bit challenging on top of the hill and for this reason a (rental) car is highly adviceable. On the otherhand this was not a surprise for us, and we managed to do it without.

Wi-Fi was ok but not really strong.

generous room size and beautiful views. the owner was very charming and helpful.
the location was very high up a hill, with zero access without a car, which was not made clear in the listing. also not clear from the listing was that the activities (like snorkelling) are only possibly booked well ahead and a 30+ min drive away.

Fantastic views from our room, quiet location. Stefania is an excellent host and provided great tips to explore Liguria and Cinque Terre. We only staid 2 nights but would love to come back for our next time in region.

Renovated modern room, clean, nice garden with beautiful view. Great hostess.
If you are physically not optimal take note that you need to walk and climb stairs a bit from the car.

The view from the window of our room was just breathtaking, overlooking Portovenere bay.
The little village on the bay, "Le Grazie" is charming, especially at night with the lightening of each individual house.
The property, perched on a high hill, stands in the middle of the nature, with an absolute silence during the night and with a limited number of rooms, therefore guests.
Stefania, the owner, has been very helpful and very nice to us easily reachable via WhatsApp for any special question or concern, such as providing a second set of pillows as well as a second chair which turned out to be very useful to the two of us to have breakfast in the room, as there was only one armchair.
Breakfast, made available in the hall to be picked up by the individual guests, was basic but healthy.
The owners do not serve meals, but we found in the little village on the bay, an excellent restaurant serving mouthwatering dishes of the local cuisine. Don't miss it: "Il Gambero" is the name!
What has been perceived by us as a real problem is the 20 minutes road stretch which takes you from the sea level high on the hill where the property is. Very very narrow road rendering crossing a car coming from the opposite direction nearly impossible. It happened at least 4 times during our two days stay. One has to try to find a space where to stop while the other car moves in the opposite direction. Being a hilly narrow road and driving a large BMW was quite problematic.
The second problem was the stretch from the parking to the room. Again, being a hilly location, the rocky stretch turned out to be dangerous for us each time we wanted to go out, since there are no restaurants or any other shop for more kilometers. Stefania was very kind to us, helping us with a wheelbarrow to transport the luggage.
The parking space itself is very narrow and it is quite difficult to park the car.
Of corse these critics can be understood if I tell you that we are 75 ... I am sure that had we had 20 years less ... it would have been less problematic.
The last thing I need to express is that the location is very difficult to find as the address is "hidden" in Google mas, as it is a military area ... But Stefania sent us the coordinates via WhastApp which enabled us to reach our final destination

The place is located in the hills over Portovenere, in a national park. The views from the room are outstanding! It is perfect if you need to reconnect with nature and still be 10 minutes away from the town. Everything is recently renewed with great taste and attention to details. Our room was big and comfortable and equipped with fridge, kettle, a bottle of water (always appreciated), tea coffee and a selection of snacks and biscuits for breakfast. They don't serve food but there is a microwave and dishes/cutlery in case you want to have something quick and easy at the place. Stefania and her husband are very nice and friendly, and they make you feel at ease. They were very helpful, providing us with all the information and advice we needed.
We can't wait to go back for a longer stay!
