Beautiful quite place to take an out time in Italy. It is a place wich take care of the environment and food wich grows nearby. For that reason there were a lot of melons and peaches instead of bananas, ananas and other exotic fruits. Sustainability is not only a big word it’s a way of life. The staff was/is amazing and very kind and courteously - Grazie mille a tutti! I really really hope you can protect this beautiful place from to much turism and to much noise from the world 🙏🏻😉

The entire atmosphere and experience was too notch. The food was amazing and all locally sourced. I purchased the olive oil and honey which were my favorites. The staff was always very friendly and outgoing.
The room was a bit tight. But very well layed out and had everything you could ask for.

Santa Lucia is a great spot for peace and serenity if you want to be close to Rome Airport and decompress with good food and a boutique ambience. The food is delicious, a lovely wine selection and the rooms are spacious and tranquil. We really enjoyed the saltwater swimming pool. Travellers should note that having a car is very useful if you want to drive to Rome or up to one of the beaches for the day as the place is quite rural and rustic.

The property is a beautiful oasis - gorgeous gardens, a perfect pool and hot tub, the restaurant excellent, I stayed in one of their suites and it was comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. I had no intentions of leaving the property for the two days I stayed - no need to when looking for a break from the heat and bustle of summer travel.

Very beautiful countryside, modern property with very accommodating, attentive, hard working staff. The grounds were gorgeous, saltwater pools, very comfortable poolside lounge chairs, large wine selection, unique menu items from on-site restaurant where they use vegetables from their own garden and locally provided farms. Very clean rooms and the air conditioning works very well in your rooms.
If you arrive at the train station in Maccarese, make sure you let the hotel know in advance and they will arrange to have private driver as there are not public taxis nearby. The train is only 6 minutes from the property.
It is a great destination for some quiet time away from the hustle. They are 15 minutes by car to the Fregene beach or you can ride their bicycles. The owner has another property and seafood restaurant in Fregene, beachside if you wish to go there for the day and have a lounge chair.
The staff made the stay very personable and to your liking.

Charming location, close enough to the airport (approx 20 min). Different styles of rooms, which makes it interesting, especially the shower. All amenities are there, and the staff is attentive. Very nice breakfast, it was great.
Still trying to figure out the pool; there were a lot of bugs/bees in the water, which made it seem dirty, so I passed on it.
If you carry bags from the entrance to the hotel, there is gravel which can be tricky with heavy suitcases. As we left very early in the morning, the section for the rooms was closed off, but there was no night light, I almost missed a step. I would have liked to have tried the restaurant but was made aware (in advance that it was closed).

The service was excellent. They picked us up from the nearest train station and took us to the airport. Breakfast was great, you can also choose if you want salty or sweet breakfast. Dinner at their restaurant is really good and has many options to choose from. Ingredients are very fresh! The room was very confortable and quiet. Perfect location to stay at and close to the Fiumicino Airport.

We've visited the property at the last day of our tour at Tuscany.
The staff was very friendly, they welcomed us with a very tasty cookies gesture. at the start we were assigned to the second floor room but as there was some issue with A/C they've upgraded us to the premium room with a bath and garden view - it was fabulous!
the highlight for us was the AMAZING restaurant they have in place. both myself and my wife (veggie) loved each and eery dish that was served. and we could drink a good amount of Chianti wine and roll back to the room which was few steps far from the restaurant
Nothing! A/C had some issue but im sure this will be fixed. we've got an upgrade immediately. so i don't really count it :)

Absolute gem. Gorgeous design, very chic, a haven being just 15 minutes from Rome airport. Meal was amazing, noted that many locals come here to dine.

New. Built with quality materials and design. Staff was better than good. Evening meal and wine best of 2 week trip. Made amazing breakfast an hour or so before normal time to meet our flight schedule. Farm fresh food. Delightful patio and grounds. Will go again if the opportunity presents.

Everything including the breakfast was superb. The only issue with the property is the transportation from the Rome airport. The taxis don’t want to take fares that don’t go into Rome. The hotel offered an $85 Euro taxi fare that is quite excessive. The return from the property to the airport was $40 euros - not unreasonable, but the taxi driver vaped and texted the whole way to the airport, making us feel quite uncomfortable.

My husband and I stayed at Santa Lucia Maccarese overnight before a flight out of FCO in the morning. The property is gorgeous and very clean. The on-site pool was the perfect way to relax between flights and the restaurant, where we ate lunch and dinner, was delicious. The staff were great-even going above and beyond by arriving super early on our departure day to make sure we were able to check out and find out taxi.

Firstly, the tranquility of the location was superlative. After a month of travelling around europe non stop, with tours and parties and events, this is exactly what we needed in terms of a relaxing bookend to the trip before making our way home.
The pool and adjacent grounds were fantastic, and the breakfasts and meals available were so fresh and delicious (and well priced! We had lunch at the hotel both days we were there and we're so glad - we don't think we could of gotten better elsewhere). The service was also lovely, from booking transfers to/from the beach or to the airport, to allowing us to use the bikes to get around, also their local knowledge and recommendations - everyone was so helpful.
Several issues (but this is absolutely nitpicking)
- my partner and I are quite tall. We hit our head on numerous occaisions on the beams in the standard rooms - definitely one way to wake up!
- while the bath-tub was amazing, the shower situation was less than ideal. It was a 'hand held' shower head that also took quite some time to heat up (to the extent we thought it was broken). Again - not a big deal but we had to get creative to find a way to affix the hand-held shower head so that we could shower properly

This property is unbelievably beautiful, a perfect blend of comfort and aesthetics. Every design detail was entirely on point. The staff were incredibly accommodating from the first to the last minute of our stay. We loved the food, the pool, the bikes, the landscaping and the setting.

The staff went above and beyond to serve and accommodate our large party of travelers and to make sure we were completely satisfied. Fantastic!
Also, the pool was one of my favorites ever and anywhere!
Just two small suggestions to add to the room amenities: an iron and a full-length mirror. Otherwise, the accommodations were comfortable and beautiful.
