We have loved our stay and will definitely be back.
As a famy we loved everything. The girls absolutely loved the pool and the park.
My dog and I loved the field and we were blessed with the weather. Amazing.
My husband loved absolutely everything. He is recovering from brain surgery and needed a lovely break.
The mattress on the double bed was awful.
The noise it made everytime you moved and it was uncomfortable. Please get a new one!! X

The location is fab for a family. Our daughter loved the freedom of the park nearby. Facilities are a fabulous bonus of staying in the holiday village. The kids loved the pool, etc. We'll definitely want to come back. It is absolutely ideal for a family. The local pub was very convenient but could get very loud and busy. Tenby, Manor wildlife Park and Folly Farm near by were all fab. We had a lovely holiday bar a few minor points which we felt would've improved our stay if they were improved on.
We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, but felt the house could've been cleaner, that it may have been rushed before our arrival, we aren't snobs by any means. The master bed was very uncomfortable, it was hard and clunky when moving in the night. We didn't sleep well at all, but the kids slept fine.
The shower tray creaked like nothing on earth, made showering very unrelaxing. Kept thinking it was going to give way beneath my feet. I don't know if this is normal as we have an over the bath shower at home.
We felt the cottage would benefit from an airfryer as cooking for a family of 5 a simple meal like pizza and chips had to be done in 2 stages, which meant we couldn't eat together. Some of the pans need replacing, too, as they've definitely seen better days. In particular, the frying pan.
I wiped out the oven before we left and we hadn't cooked that much in it but it was black! No way the was from us we only used it max 3 times as it was just too annoying trying to cook for us all with only one rack.
Finally, some of the windows didn't want to open, and we felt this wasn't good as a safety point as there was only one door in and out of the property.

Property was very well equipped, comfortable, and well decorated. I love lighthouses and there was a nod to lighthouses in every room!
Very poor internet connection, and was unable to pre-book any indoor swimming pool slots, because I could't get online. No internet for me for the whole week!!

Lovely cottage, very clean
Absolutely no wi fi anywhere in the cottage. 3 people with different phones could not access the wi fi even in the conservatory.

Location was good.
Property as described.
Property was clean.
It would be nice if there were a few essential items - like milk, sugar, tea, coffee, butter, shampoo, shower gel etc. Doesn't have to be large packs but just enough until able to get to shops.

Not applicable.
Very basic. Dirty under units and sofa, not cleaned in a long time. High chair was filthy. No bath for the baby only a shower. Very inadequate. Tap in kitchen very loose and not stable, the owner should have had this repaired. I had to bathe the baby in the sink. Would not recommend Grooms Cottage to friends or family. Would not stay again.

Great pool to able to use on your own. Everything we needed for self-catering.
Could not get a taxi or an uber into Tenby on Saturday bank holiday weekend so had to drive.

Fabulous, respectful, cheerful cleaner waited patiently in the car for me to leave when I was late on the last day. Amazing lady!
Very clean and cosy.
Great facilities.
Tasteful, beach-themed décor. I loved it!
Very good shower.
Fabulous location.
Safe carpark just opposite the property.
The mattress in the main bedroom was really lumpy and uncomfortable so had to sleep on top of the duvet. Such a shame as the rest of the place was fabulous.
The front door handle was really difficult to push down and up. I couldn't get in at first because I didn't have the power. Some older people may struggle... like me.

Facilities. comfort and location all good - particularly useful to have electric car charging points on site
Host communication really poor. I sent several messages because we wanted to use the pool and the booking system was not letting us do this, and did not get a response, so we could not use the pool! It is sold as a key benefit that you can use the pool and it was not available to us.

The peace and quiet in a lovely location, the accommodation was great with enough activities for all the family.
The local shop closed at 7 which was a bit early if you'd run out of something .

Loves the swimming pool and the booking system with only our group in the pool

Love how well equipped the kitchen is, it has pretty much everything you would need bar the food! Bathroom was clean and newly fitted, which we appreciated. The location is perfect! Quiet area in a lovely little village but not too far from shops, Tenby and other places to visit. Having the swimming pool on site is a major bonus! Especially being able to book it, so it's just your party there, perfect for my gran who is very self conscious now she is older! Amazing price! Would definitely recommend!
Only 2 negatives for us. The new shower was good and had been finished well but it's hollow under the part of the shower tray you stand in to actually shower. That means it's wobbly and creaks quite a lot! To the point I thought I had broken it. It was bearable for me (28) and mum (50ish) but my gran (93) struggled a lot. I feel over time it won't wear well.
The other negative was the gentleman who came to the site every morning from around 5:30 - 6am to maintain the pool. He was extremely loud, slammed every door and the most annoying part was he played music from his phone (I'm assuming) very very loudly, the whole time he was on site. It disrupted the lovely silence of the night and woke me up every morning, even with my window closed. Again, not too bad for me but a family with young children would be very frustrated I think.

The facilities were just what we expected. When we left the property it was starting a refurb, based on this we are interested in returning because the property was slightly dated.
The pool booking was difficult. If you wanted to use the pool at 10am the next day for example you had to be ready to book at 10am the day before and if you missed it, you wouldn’t be able to book the slot because it would be already booked up. The booking.com app wasn’t letting us view the welcome pack and so we had to ask other people who were staying on the site for a lot of things. The day before we left we were unable to book the pool and when I contacted the company they said that they weren’t able to access the website and so we couldn’t swim on the first day. It would’ve been nice to be able to speak to the host directly because the company were really unhelpful.

Excellent location in a lovely village. Loved the pool, tennis courts and table tennis.
I would say the decor needs updating soon in order to match the price we paid.

Impromptu week, settings and surroundings beautiful.

Location was perfect, parking was great
In the property, there was no WiFi, when we finally got it, it went off. It was terrible, could do with it own wifi box. A little more cleaning personally, because dust was found and marks were on the bed. Initially no welcome pack so we didn't know how to use the emersion heater. The sykes cottage agent was very informative. Maybe make the mirror in the front room lower.

Location was good & peaceful
Cottage was small & needed updating, bathroom floor wasn’t very clean on arrival
