About this house rental
Beautiful dog friendly townhouse that sleeps up to 10 guests with outdoor dining courtyard and BBQ, conveniently situated in the very heart of Henley-On-Thames, a short walk from the waterfront.
This beautifully maintained townhouse is ideally located on a quaint street in the centre of Henley-On-Thames, the picturesque market town famous for the Henley Regatta. The property is perfect for a larger family or a groups wanting a relaxing break or to attend the world famous regatta.
This charming home is beautifully decorated throughout in an electic, classic and cosy style. The back door leads directly into the bootroom where you can store your bikes, buggies, wellington boots, golf equipment or kayaks/canoes. It has a washing machine, a wet room/shower and a WC. Through the front door off the high street you'll find the first living room, a cosy space with two big sofas, one of which opens up into a double bed. It gives you an immediate taste of how lovely the decor is throughout with pale walls adorned with lovely framed pieces of art.
The second living room has a huge snug L-shaped sofa and is perfect for settling into a movie on the flat screen smart TV with a big glass of red and some popcorn. More art and little ornaments are dotted around giving this space a really homely but stylish vibe. There's a second downstairs toilet between the two living rooms so no queuing necessary!
The dining area at the far end of the living room has a large wooden dining table with seating for eight and is perfect for a chilly night in. But if the weather permits you'll want to open the french doors, let the sun stream through, and dine in the leafy stone-walled courtyard. Whether you decide to cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen's double oven or fire up the BBQ, this spot is just right for lazy eating with bottles of chilled wine and good company.
The kitchen has a fab stone tiled floor and is spacious as well as being, like the rest of the place, thoughtfully decorated. You can make that first coffee of the day with the Nespresso machine and enjoy it in the courtyard with the morning sun kissing your face.
On the first floor you'll find two bright and airy bedrooms, both elegant and pretty, one with twin beds and one king-sized. There's also a family bathroom on this floor with a separate bath and shower cubicle.
On the third floor you'll find the final two bedrooms as lovely as the ones on the first floor and again, with one super-king and one king-sized. This king-sized also boasts its own en-suite with a shower.
If you don't fancy cooking, the nearby Bull pub offers room service so why not take a night off and get dinner delivered. The front door leads directly into the town centre where you'll find gallons of independent restaurants and pubs and the town is also crammed full of fabulous boutique shops. The River Thames is a few minutes' walk from the house and if you're feeling fancy you can hire boats, canoes and kayaks.
To the rear of the house you will find two allocated car parking spaces.
- No shoes to be worn in the house, all muddy boots to be left in the boot room please
- Quiet hours 11pm to 8am
- Outside courtyard area is out of use between 11pm to 8am, the outside lights are on a timer and will turn off at 11pm.
- No smoking, candles or fires to be lit inside the property
- No events or parties
- All names of guests over 18 must be provided upon booking
- No visitors (please note charges will apply and you will be asked to leave)
- Two small well behaved dogs welcome
- Please pick up all dog mess from the courtyard and dispose of accordingly
- Please do not move any furniture
- There are no facilities for charging of electric cars at the property however Waitrose car park under a minute walk have this facility
- Charcoal for the BBQ is not provided so please bring your own
- Please close all windows, turn off the lights and turn off the heating upon leaving the property.
- BBQ must be cleaned after use
- 1 bath towel provided per guest
- No candles please as this is against the regulations for holiday lets
