Perfect location for our group to come back to and relax. We visited Pisgah National Forest, The Cradle of Forestry, Grove Inn and Biltmore. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave!

So peaceful and quiet! Forest with trails (use ALLTrails) right out backdoor. Comfy beds, fantastic showers, air conditioning, etc. View out back is fantastic - but bring a robe (no curtains in public areas. Great thick curtains in bedrooms). Awesome hot tub (after all the hiking within an hour drive or out backdoor, you will need that hot tub!). We did lots of breweries too (so many in the area, Voodoo, Oscar Blues were favs). Did Biltmore (use the discount code provided because its expensive).
Spectrum went out one evening. Wow on communications with company. Calls/txt, kept me updated, checked we were back up after Spectrum said we were. Was very impressed.
Only negative? The exact location is different. You will NOT be across from Arboreteum. Although You will be at the end of road, backing up to forest, near water treatment plant (not sure what they do, because no smell). The abandoned but occupied trailers are not next to you. Only 2 of them covered by trees. The occupants stay hidden (turned off radio when they must have seen me walking near by). I almost didn't see the trailers due to overgrowth, and isn't issue. LOTS of folks go running/biking near by. I felt safe (but was also aware of no curtains on back of house).
Will I return? YES. Am I sad I am sharing how great this place is? Sort of, because then might not be available in future ;-)

Great location the hot tub was a huge bonus. We would stay here again.

We chose the house based on it's proximity (a trail in the backyard!) to Pisgah and Bent Creek. It was awesome to bike right out. The neighborhood also included a nearby playground and small pump track for bikes.
The house was clean, and as advertised. The fire pit had two bundles of wood, the hot tub was clean and in good working order. The windows and open floor plan were really nice for creating that outside while inside feeling. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked (no baking trays, but there's never a guarantee when traveling). The furniture was comfortable, though the beds and pillows would benefit from an upgrade. They were still fine to sleep on.
If I had a wishlist item to add, it would be a secure space to store bikes. We made do, but it would have been clutch to have had a small shed or covered space to lock them up.
We'll definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

We lived the house. The layout felt bigger than it is. Being on a trailhead was really nice. We enjoyed the hot tub. The house is in a good location. I will bring my mountain bike next time. You are at the end of a one way road and there is a house next to you, but you never know it while you're there. The only thing I can think of to suggest improvement is 1) I couldn't get the grill over 350 degrees. The temp gauge could have been off, it it's something to watch if you like to cook your steaks at 450 or higher. 2) the outside lighting was rather dim. A few lights were out, so that might have been the issue. Overall, we loved the place and would rent it again. My wife just added that a vaccine and crockpot would have been nice to have. I will add this. We have a rental property on a lake. I know how difficult renting can be. This house was super nice. The beds were great. We were very happy spending Thanksgiving at this property.

The rental was described perfectly. Location was good for us. Our son & family were visiting in laws that live near the Biltmore and it wasn’t very far to go visit. The old campers were a little scary and took away from the overall appearance, but can’t always pick neighbors. Looking out over the forest was so beautiful and peaceful. Loved all the windows.
The kitchen was great had everything I needed to prepare a meal for them. Beds were comfortable, but could use new pillows. Bathrooms were great, tubs were pretty high to climb into for shower, husband nearly feel getting out one morning. He suggest some grab bars. Us older folks are very afraid of falling.
We did build a fire in the fire pit, wish we had some starters, but got it going.
Overall, it was a pleasant, peaceful, & restful stay.

Clean, quiet, spacious, and close to Asheville and excursions. Started each day with a hike in the backyard or a run through the nearby neighborhood. Ended each day with a dip in the hot tub or hanging out near the fire pit. Management group was friendly and quick to respond. We can't wait to return!

The house was great. Everything was well stocked, garbage bags, baggies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.

It was overall a beautiful place. The cleanliness was good, but there were quite a few cobwebs throughout all the corners of the walls and on the lamps. The small doors to above space were oddly open in one of the rooms. As three women staying by ourselves, the mobile homes that were occupied in the overgrowth were quite close and just made us feel somewhat insecure. Overall a wonderful retreat.

Property was immaculately clean and exactly as described. Well-appointed kitchen and plenty of space for everyone.

We enjoyed the most tranquil stay at this clean and modern retreat of a vacation home. The views out of the expansive windows in the main room and kitchen were a lovely reminder that we were positioned right at forest’s edge and could enjoy the nature views at all times. We took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit frequently. We walked right off the back patio and onto the trail to hike and bike through the Bent Creek section of Pisgah National Preserve. It was glorious!
The kitchen appliances are clean and modern and the bathrooms are sleek and well designed (especially appreciated the double sinks in both bathrooms). Easy access to groceries and pharmacies and all the major interstates (you can be in downtown Asheville in 15 minutes). Plenty of clean towels and linens are provided, and the wi-fi was strong and reliable.
We highly recommend this NC getaway!

Lots of space for cooking, eating and lounging. Beautiful views out the windows and access to trails. Short drive to all of the places we wanted to visit - downtown, Biltmore, RAD, and arboretum. Great we could bring our dog too! Kids loved it. Very spacious.

Excellent place to stay with or without dog. Nice walking trail right outside of the house in the woods. House is thoughtfully designed with great windows and views of the woods and has all conveniences and then some. Good location for exploring Asheville and surrounding towns. Super easy communications and the Yonder folks are very responsive. Many thoughtful touches in house including great hike and food recommendations. We would definitely stay here again or other properties managed by Yonder.

Bent Creek was not quite what we expected. The neighborhood leaves a little bit to be desired. The property has a lot of potential. However, there were some cleaning and maintenance issues which need to be addressed. The beds were very comfortable, and the layout of the home was convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 4 plus dog really enjoyed our stay. The proximity of the home to so many locations allowed us to have a busy week of exploring Asheville, the national forest, waterfalls, the Arboretum, the Biltmore, and a day trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, while still having time to relax and try many of the great local restaurants within 15 minutes.
The home was immaculately clean and we all enjoyed the comfort of the beds. We appreciated the bath soap, hand soap, dish soap/detergent, and other small amenities provided, and were very near a grocery store for anything else we might have needed.
I only dock a star because the word "private" is used 12 times in the listing, and while the home is definitely tucked into a very quiet corner backing up to the national forest, I expected a little more privacy based on that. This home is sandwiched between two other houses, with a water treatment facility just across the street. While enjoying the backyard, don't be surprised to hear neighborhood yard work, neighbors walking through the forest paths (we saw a very cute preschool/daycare field trip heading out for a walk), and I heard the ice cream truck one evening. This did not detract from our enjoyment of the property, but I do want to share in case others, like me, read the listing and expect a little bit more seclusion.
We never got to use the fire pit or grill/outdoor dining table due to persistent rain showers and thunderstorms in the evening throughout the week, but there was a starter supply of wood. We did see a black bear 3 times in the woods so be wildlife aware while exploring the trails and creek behind the house!

beautiful contemporary home in the forest
We loved being next to the national forest. It felt secure and serene. The proximity to the NC Arboretum, hiking trails, Asheville, Biltmore and waterfalls was perfect for us . The house was perfect, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, new appliances (however the washer needs a good cleaning), and beautiful furnishings. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful.
Peaceful retreat! We enjoyed the quiet surround of the forest in the lovely home.

Neighborhood/Lack of Blinds or curtains
The house is architecturally lovely. The location butting up against the forest is ideal for hikers. Not ideal without blinds/curtains for in the livingroom family area for folks who watch horror movies. Having the option of closing or opening the blinds/curtains would be comforting. The abandon trailers at the corner of the property road does not give a 1st good impression or the neighborhood.

Very nice stay, really enjoyed it!
Great place to stay, very well maintained property. Definitely met our expectations. If there were any negatives, it would just be the location. The pictures don't show that there are some other homes that are close by, but the house itself is fantastic just don't expect to be secluded out in the woods. Other than that, everything is within a 15-20 minute drive and we really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend it.

Cute House
The house was adorable. However, the road directly into the house is not paved and that particular area is a little sketchy. Also, the toilets were dirty around the very top of the rim, otherwise the house was spotless. And there were only 3-coffee cups -- some prior renter must have taken or broken the additional cups. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Asheville Getaway
It you're looking for a place in the mountains with access to the city, this is for you. You're only about 15-20 minutes of driving to anywhere. I wouldn't recommend it of you don't have a car though. Property is gorgeous and well equipped. Spacious and comfortable with pretty much anything you could need.

Great Getaway
This house was great for our family for a few days! The house was extremely clean and stocked with most everything you would need for a few days stay: toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, shower soap, etc. We went with our young daughters and my parents. The house backs up to the Pisgah National Forest, so you can walk right out the back door and pick up a trail a little ways into the woods. My girls loved exploring out back. The house has a grill and a fire pit. It’s also only about 10 minutes to the Biltmore Park area that has a number of shops and restaurants and there’s a grocery store nearby as well. It was maybe 25 minutes to the Biltmore Estate. The house is at the end of a side street with an identical unit next to it. Some of the surrounding properties were less than desirable; however, this did not impact our stay. The check in/check out process was easy and seamless. Overall, a great house and an enjoyable stay.
