The host Gina was in contact with us. Came and spoke to us on arrival. Was really great.
The space is cosy. Yet works when you're using it for a base.
Comfortable and a lovely outlook. From the street to going to the back of the property your in a different world. Horses and fields. Just magic.
I really don't think there was anything we didn't like.

It was cozy, comfortable and quiet. Gina and Simon were lovely and made us feel really welcome. Ideal location for visiting longleat only a 20min drive. Lovely spacious garden area with bbq and patio doors open out onto garden area. Will definitely stay again

I enjoyed how private and peaceful it was, the kitchenette was well appointed and the bathroom was lovely. It felt like staying in a lovely hotel

A very comfortable and compact cabin, completely private at the bottom of a garden. It had everything you needed and Gina and Simon were very friendly as was Maisie their dog.
It was very convenient for us to visit the Edington music festival.
The WiFi was rather intermittent.

Gina and Simon fantastic hosts, welcoming, helpful, informative and friendly, lovely cabin, everything you need. Cabin is fenced off from rest of house so felt private, also backs onto fields for lovely walks, felt safe for those that may be travelling alone. Very relaxing, Super , really well decorated, with quirky touches that give that extra special feel. You won't be disappointed.

The cabin was exquisite. It was much better in real life than the photos.
It was private, cosy, comfortable, clean and relaxing.
I particularly loved the ponies and horses in the field and the playful dog and her squeaky ball.
Gina and Simon were very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at crown cabin. Although the idea of going through someones garden to get to cabin seemed a little strange to start once you got down to the cabin it really was your own private space.

Beautiful little loge at the end of the garden. It is a bit unnerving walking down the driveway of someone's property but my host was nothing but lovely. Everything you need for a few nights stay, even an umbrella!. The fan was very welcome and deliveroo great for dinner.
Nothing, couldn't fault it, the location was perfect for me for work, the back field with horses and chickens and easy access from the property, the host honestly couldn't do enough for you. Thank you Gina

Loved seeing the horses, ponies and soppy Maisie 😀. Only saw Gina a few times but was always chatty with us. Milk in the fridge on arrival. Due to hot weather there was 2 bottles of water in fridge.
If I’m really picky the shelf above the sink was too close to it.

Lovely little cabin, all the amenities needed and spotlessly clean. Safe and secure and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Love the peace and tranquility of the location. I also felt very safe and secure, which is important to me as a single traveller.
The cabin has everything required for a very comfortable stay.

The cabin was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed provided for us. Absolutely couldn't fault it at all. The hosts were friendly, helpful and left us in peace, with the means to contact them should we need them.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Crown Cabin is a magical little oasis. Despite the initial strangeness of having to walk through someone's garden, once you cross the threshold of your little wooden gate, you are transported to your own serene pocket of countryside. The cabin is very clean and well-appointed; it has everything you need for a short stay. Gina and Simon have done a great job of creating a private and secluded area for guests and sleeping in the glass-fronted cabin was so novel. We especially loved the garden; having coffee on the deck in the mornings and BBQing in the evenings was bliss. Right outside the garden is a field featuring chickens, horses and an often glorious sunset. We were lucky enough to stay in warm weather and very much enjoyed an evening stroll round the animals and down the bridlepaths. There are several supermarkets nearby and we enjoyed day trips to Bath and - at the suggestion of the neighbour looking after the horses! - Lacock.
Nothing, other than initially feeling a bit awkward traipsing through someone's garden as they sunbathed!

The perfect stay! We booked this to spend the weekend exploring Bath. The cabin itself is lovely, has everything you'd need and more. It's peaceful and rural, but has modern features and appliances.
Location: great if you want to explore Bath but don't want to pay Bath Hotel prices. Pretty sure you can get a bus into Bath from the bus stop right by the road, but we got a well priced park and ride 25 minute drive from the cabin. It's also very close to longleat safari park which is a must see. We spent Sunday in Bradford on Avon which is 10 minutes drive. We stocked up at the Aldi nearby, there are lots of other supermarkets and a pub nearby too. We wouldn't have done all the extra things if we'd stayed in the city centre.
The hosts: Gina is lovely, glad we saw her on the second day and got to speak about the animals. The chickens, ponies and horses are fun to go and see, and not forgetting Maisie the dog of course. Nothing was too much trouble.
Facilities: it's the cutest hideaway with a secluded garden and decking area. The gas bbq is great for a summer meal al fresco. There's a kettle & toaster for morning coffee and little breakfast. The bathroom is lush, better shower pressure than we have at home and everything is high standard finish. Towels are provided, and a hairdryer. The bed is the comfiest ever.
Etc: if you're a runner we recommend The Old Showfield Park run, about a 15 minute drive from the cabin.
Thank you, we'll definitely be back!
That we couldn't stay longer

Gina and Simon were were welcoming and reachable if required.
Their cabin offers privacy and an opportunity to be hidden in the quiet of a village setting, with the relaxed sounds of nature, chickens, ponies, birdsong, and sunrise and sunsets etc with uninterrupted view in some directions.
The ensuite (;shower is very pleasant and toilet work efficiently). The window and patio doors with blinds that can be raised or lowered up or down.
The.bed provides a very comfortable nights sleep.
We adjusted to enjoy what we had the opportunity to benefit from, but we're not able to base ourselves there as much as we would have liked, due the compact nature of the accommodation.
The space within the cabin has a reliance on the weather to support extending our to use the outside space, BBQ, tables, private space etc ..
Having arrived for a week when the weather was not supportive of outside enjoyment of the facilities the flowing is important to note.
It is important for those who need to appreciate the following, that it is not possible to sit together, ,use a desk surface etc.if you plan to be inside, or have to be, based on the weather.
It is only possible to place two chairs inside if either side of the bed as a seat/bedside surface.. One chair must be moved to access the base unit which is home to a fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery etc.
If you are eating out, or outside the cabin the above may not need to factor in so much. It should be in the description of the accomodation to allow all to make an informed decision in advance Currently,it is not.

Self contained log cabin, great facilities of kitchenette, sitting on the decking in the evening, quiet and relaxing, everything we needed. Bed really comfortable, amazing what the owners have done with the cabin, well recommended for a quiet get away just to relax, lovely to see all the wildlife as well and the chickens and ponies help create the relaxing atmosphere
Used the cabin as a base for trips to various locations,
Nothing, all great

Lovely cabin ,very friendly hosts , in lovely surroundings. It was great having the facilities to have a BBQ. There's a field at the back with ponies, a horse and some chickens which you are welcome to go and say hello to. Really enjoyed our stay.
4.8
Quiet rural location near fields and chickens. Plenty of outside space for barbecuing and sitting in the sun. Gina and Simon had thought of everything to equip the cabin comfortably and everything was spotlessly clean.
No complaints!
