The location was very peaceful, the property had everything we needed. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. The peacocks were very cute and obviously used to people. It was lovely that there was a jar of peacock food so we could feed them :)
We were a little disappointed with the location of the hot tub to the property. It would have benefited from a security light at the stair area as the stairs leading from the property to the hot tub were very steep and badly lit. We had to use the torch on our phones to light the way. Also a minor moan but only one side of the 4 slice toaster worked.

It was clean and nicely presented.
Hot tub was really good .
There was no view from the hot tub and no garden as such . The garden furniture was in the garage as was the hot tub . Some better lighting could improve the ambiance.
The towels were far too small especially as no bath robes provided ,you have to descend the staircase to reach the hot tub .
Also bed creaks when you get in/ out so wake partner in night.

Location was good.
It was a building site.

Geoff’s rest had everything we needed for a 2 night mini break.
Unfortunately the property needed a deep clean, work tops and table top was clean but there was quite a lot of dust and it was obvious that objects had been cleaned, dusted, hoovered round and not moved.

Beautifully well equipped accomodation.
Lovely hot tub and comfy seated area with heater next to hot tub.
Had trouble with temp of hot tub as we managed to turn it down the first night as the digital temp display is upside down to what we was used to seeing.
Richard was very helpful in sorting it all out for us.
Very nice welcome basket with prosseco and bits on arrival.

the hot tub was lovely although the temperature didn't make sense the location was nice and loved the peacocks. It was very nice but no way was it worth £500
disappointed with the fact there was a family next door which is a little misleading in photos and the building site with all the men on there in the mornings wasn't the best view.
Wasn't very clean, found dark hair in the shower the blanket on the sofa smelled awful - like old people and old smoke. Bed was also misleading, says king sized room but it really isn't.

Something to make it more personal as when in hot tub , people driving by or going to their car in carpark, they could see everything. Which put us off going in hot tub. Very disappointed, aspecialy because the price we payed.

The property was very clean and of a very high calibre. In the mornings, when the neighbours were asleep, it was so nice to hear woodpeckers and the Peacocks.
We had no idea that the property is adjacent to another holiday chalet and the outside area is under the Velux windows of this property. The noise and music from the adjacent property continued from early evening until 1pm. We were force to close all windows in an attempt to reduce the noise. The people in the adjacent chalet spoilt the overall experience, and feel the owner of the two properties should enforce loud music be at least contained within the chalets after 10:00pm. We chose this property as a quiet retreat and feel ‘short changed’ especially considering the price and the fact that the property is obviously of a very high calibre.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful town. The accommodation was decorated to an extremely high standard and was pristine. It has everything you would need for a self catered stay. Being dog friendly was a big bonus too. We will be back!
