The staffs were friendly.
The room was very different from the Photos. We were given a room that was not in the given address but not far. The room has still uncompleted facilities. There are no curtains for the windows (When we are inside the room at night, light on, everything can be seem inside the room from outside), and it is very noisy (sound from outside). It is very hot inside at night, and the big fan is very noisy. We did not like the room and room change was not possible.

Das uns zugewiesene Zimmer war belegt, nachdem die Rezeption geschlossen war (18:30 Uhr) ist es dem Team nicht gelungen ein anderes, fertiges Dreibettzimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen.Es wurden uns 2 Doppelzimmer angeboten, welche wir nicht angenommen haben, nachdem wir zu 3. und mit Kind gereist waren. Als Wiedergutmachung wurde uns ein Preisnachlass versprochen, die Person in der Rezeption am nächsten Morgen war jedoch nicht befugt diesen anzuwenden. Wir würden aber per Email kontaktiert, was leider nie passiert ist, auch nach 2 Mails meinerseits nicht. Schade um das unprofessionelle Verhalten.
Im Zimmer im Dachgeschoss war es dermaßen heiß, dass an Schlafen nicht zu denken war. Leider verderben solche Situationen den Eindruck auf die Stadt und das Erlebte.

Clean and good location
There was no elevator so we had to lug our cases up 3 flights of stairs. There was also no proper curtains or blinds so all sunlight came in and heated up the apartment in 31 degree heat, making it unbearable to sleep even with the fan they provided (which kept flipping over).

Die Lage war gut. Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr ist gegeben und in die Altstadt gelangt man zu Fuß auch ganz gut. Ebenfalls sind die Gebäude in denen sich die Apartments befinden von außen sehr schön. Ebenso hat das Apartment innen einen wunderschönen alten Parkettboden und sehr hohe Decken mit Stuck. Das Parken habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen, aber der Parkplatz liegt hinter dem Haus und ist gesichert, hier würde ich also definitv mein Auto bedenkenlos und stressfrei abstellen können.
Leider war das Apartment (vor allem das Badezimmer) in einem schlechten Zustand (siehe Fotos). Der Handtuchhalter war komplett rostig und der Lack komplett gelöst. Ebenso ersichtlich kaputte Einrichtung. Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem und hat bei jeder Bewegung extrem laut geknarzt. Auch die Kissen und Bettdecken waren von sehr schlechter Qualität. Das nächste Problem war, dass es extrem staubig im Zimmer war. Der Boden zwischen Bett und Wand wurde offensichtlich seit einigen Wochen nicht mehr gesaugt (siehe Foto). Ich habe eine Hausstaubmilbenallergie und hatte große Probleme in dem Zimmer. Zuletzt muss ich noch sagen, dass das Zimmer extrem hellhörig ist. Wenn ein Nachbar seine Zimmertüre schließ schreckt man aus dem Bett hoch.

Good location. Take street train from Heidelberg central station, get off at ‘See Garten’ and walk 400 m. You can also walk to the main sightseeing areas. Small but practical kitchen. Efficient staff.
The kitchen stove wasn’t easy to find. This made me upset as I thought it impossible to do cooking.
There were not enough hangers.

Situated in a nice part of Heidelberg near lovely residential areas, reasonably close to train station and shops. Friendly staff wth easy check in/check out.

La ubicación
Sábanas sucias y rasgadas, toallas no aptas para un alojamiento, super delgadas, habitación sucia, balcón con una silla y una banca de metal imposible sentarse en ella, tabla de la cocina quemada, en 4 días tres noches no nos limpiaron nunca la habitación ni cambiaron las toallas.
No entiendo porque mezclan fotos de habitaciones renovadas con no renovadas y cobran por no renovadas cómo si fueran buenas habitaciones. Las paredes estaban completamente dañadas, la verdad es que las fotos del Hotel están muy manipuladas o no son para nada recientes

Ich muss mich so negativ äußern, damit meine Bewertung auffällt. Natürlich hat es mir im Boarding World Heidelberg gefallen, die Lage war gut, die Ausstattung auch. Aber: ich (92 Jahre alt) stand unter der Dusche und diese blieb kalt. Mein Sohn musste mich dann holen, ich musste mich anziehen, musste zu ihm gehen um dort zu duschen. Wir haben diesen Vorfall, der bei der Rezeption bereits bekannt war, gemeldet und die Rezeption hat zweimal eine E-Mail an den Besitzer geschickt. Als keine Reaktion kam, habe ich nochmal eine E-Mail geschickt, um den Vorfall zu schildern. Bisher habe ich nichts vom Besitzer oder Hotelleiter gehört, keine Entschuldigung, keine Entschädigung. Dieses Verhalten finde ich absolut inakzeptabel. Ich habe viel Geduld gehabt und habe viel Zeit gegeben, aber nun muss ich diese negative Bewertung abgeben.

We liked the warmth, size, quietness and comfort of the room. It was situated in a modern block behind a row of older houses (this is one of three sites owned and named the same way!) Although the kitchenette was small it was functional and we felt we had everything we needed for a pleasant short stay. It is also only a relatively short walk to the historic centre of Heidelberg (about 10 - 12 minutes walk to the start of the HauptStrasse). It was also great to have private parking as parking is not the easiest in highly visited Heidelberg!
At times it felt a little like hard work using the two plate cooker in the kitchenette for making a meal. It's definitely a 'short-stay' kind of place! Sometimes the entrance door to the block didn't close properly - but given that access to the block required input of a code to raise the shutter to the courtyard that didn't concern us unduly.

Was zeer onvriendelijk en vond elke vraag te veel. Had kennelijk een hekel aan gasten. Ook mijn reservering van de parkeerplaats was bij hem niet bekend. Geen excuses, alleen maar chagrijnig.

A brief update on the status of which we suppose you are as the owner, well aware of.
Yesterday from approximately 10.30 am until late night we have been enjoying the presence of running, hot water.
This morning however we again had to notice that there is NO hot (or even lukewarm) water coming from the taps in our room 420.
All in all we have been experiencing every day of our stay problems with the hot water supply.
We have, as you will have noticed, been updating you, and asking for your response via email and via reception.
We have sofar not heard any reply, any reaction, any form of taking responsibility, making apology etc.
We are truly baffled by such in our eyes, unprofessional and inhospitable behaviour.
We will be leaving this morning.
As we have not heard anything from you and as we are convinced a compensation for non-services is more than appropriate
we have decided that, as a temporary placeholder measure, we will not pay the parking cost.
Might you be of the opinion that this is disproportional then please contact us and we will be more than willing to enter a legal
discussion with you/your company.

Von der Rezeption muss man erst noch 5 Minuten in das Hotel/Zimmer Laufen. Es ist kein reines Hotel, es sind auch normale Mieter in dem Haus untergebracht.

The studio apartment was bigger than expected. Quite a lot of amenities and were all well maintained.
The towels could have been cleaner. We found drops of blood which was not very reassuring.
The pillows were quite hard, therefore not a lot in comfort points.

Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und bieten viel Platz. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir konnten unser Gepäck auch schon mehrere Stunden vor Checkin an der Rezeption abgeben. Besonders toll ist die Nähe zur Altstadt, nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß!!!
Es war etwas blöd, dass unser Haus keinen Aufzug hatte und wir unsere Koffer 4 Stockwerke hochtragen mussten. Das dies der Fall sein könnte war mir aber bei der Buchung schon bewusst und wurde nicht verschwiegen, daher würde ich dafür keinen Abzug geben.

Wir hatten keine Kenntnis über die Möglichkeit am Haus zu parken und mussten woanders im Parkhaus parken. Das Haus hat insgesamt wenig Charme, ist aber zum Übernachten für's Wochenende ok

Das Zimmer war sauber. Es gab Wasser und für einen Tag war es sehr gut.
Das Bad war eher klein, aber angemessen.
Für die Baustelle kann das Hotel nichts. Eine Umleitung wurde empfohlen. Leider war es dennoch nicht trivial zum Hotel zu kommen, wenn man sich in Heidelberg nicht etwas auskennt.
Einen zusätzlichen Parkplatz sollte man direkt bei der Buchung anfragen. Ich hatte es ein paar Tage später gemacht und keine Antwort erhalten. Natürlich gab es keine freien Plätze mehr. Dies vorher zu wissen wäre hilfreich gewesen.

Die Lage war in Ordnung, die Geräuschkulisse ist in Teilen von Heidelberg noch schlechter, Lieferfahrzeuge und Autos sorgen aber auch hier dafür, dass nicht mit offenem Fenster geschlafen werden kann.
Dreckige Zimmer, dreckiges Bad, alte Matratzen und heruntergekommenes, sehr lautes Treppenhaus. Die Zimmer sind sehr kunstvoll fotografiert, im Grunde genommen ist jede Studentenbude vollständiger und einladender eingerichtet. Die kleine Küchenzeile mit dreckiger Kaffeemaschine und Spüle bietet immerhin eine Mikrowelle. Die guten Bewertungen sind entweder sehr alt oder mit deutlich anderen Erwartungen an eine so teure Unterkunft entstanden. Für einen dauerbesoffenen Kegelverein mit kleiner Vereinskasse evtl. okay, ansonsten lieber etwas anderes wählen.

The location was good, it was close enough to easily walk to the old town and castle, and close to some good cafes (we went to Schwarzer Walfisch for an excellent breakfast and Coffee Nerd for a great coffee). The room we had was HUGE. Lots of room for our family with two teens. There was a private parking lot which made it convenient to park our car, but note that parking needs to be booked in advance. There was a good kitchen area with a large fridge.
It was a little hard to find the entrance. There is a door at the right side of the building, as well as a second entrance if you walk around to the back of the building. We were there in July and the room was quite hot (no A/C, as expected, since it was not advertised), but there was a fan- although with the windows open it was a bit noisy with street noise. When we arrived and went to our room, it was not cleaned up from the previous people. The front desk staff apologized for the mixup with the cleaning staff and arranged for it to be cleaned and ready for us within 30 minutes.
