Friendly staff, large room with a view of the bridge. Right next to coffee fellows and walking distance to all Christmas markets. Mini fridge available with options and free water provided.

Great location.
Too many stairs and no elevator.

Fantastic location in a beautiful old part of town. Lovely simple but comfortable hotel which was perfect for our short stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They recommended a place to eat dinner which was fantastic, and advised us to visit the castle which was stunning,
There really are no negatives. I would say that the street below our room was a little noisy when we went to bed, but this was just general chatter as people walked around. It became quiet at a reasonable time and didn’t cause us a problem.

Beautiful Hotel, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Room lovely.
A big issue was that with global warming the room was very very hot. The front desk said the air conditioning system wasn't working to capacity and they are getting a new one. Also the bedding was still duvets.... and very very hot to sleep in the room. The room was set at 72F and that is still very hot to sleep in. Also the area around the hotel, especially the park near it was very dodgy. We didn't feel very safe walking at night, or even during the day through the park and the surrounding area. We were surprised at the amount of garbage that was everywhere...... was disappointed. We had never experienced Germany like this before. It's a shame in your beautiful city.

I was feeling sick and the staff was more than helpful with directions and attention to details. Thank you so much, hopefully I can return when feeling better!

Great location, spacious room
Curtains did not block much light at all, room was bright from sunrise onwards

Great location directly opposite the Old Bridge and within the Old Town. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike!
5.0 / 10.0
Only redeeming factor is the location. It’s right on the river next to the bridge. Within walking distance to all sights. Staff was helpful.
The standard double is a tiny room with one window. Nothing decorative in the room and furniture is chipped and tired. Only redeeming factor is the location. It’s right on the river next to the bridge. Within walking distance to all sights. Staff was helpful.
Date of stay: October 2021
Room tip: Don’t try driving to this place because there are lots of one way streets and they have no parking anyway. They’ll direct you to a lot

It’s real clean and amazing staff.
Thanks all

They gave us the staff room, a hole connected to the back door of the reception, with view to their wardrobe. The furniture was less than basic. Curtains had disgusting stains. Nothing to do with the photos of the room they show on booking, which are completely misleading. Just a storage room that no guest should ever stay in. We asked to speak to the manager but she was nowhere to find and the receptionist wouldn’t call her because it was a Sunday and she didn’t want to disturb her.

you have to specifically announce that you want breakfast, this wasn't asked when checking in.

In the old town close to all the main sites of interest. Friendly staff clean comfortable room nice bathroom and good powerful shower. Kettle in room with tea coffee provided. Really helpful staff we booked a bus to travel to Nuremberg on our phone as it was the quickest option but had to have a printed ticket to travel and lovely lady at reception printed our tickets off.
Soft pillows. We stayed in room 14 on first floor on a Friday and Saturday it was noisy would it be better on a higher floor you notice it more between 11 to 1 in the evening and loud revellers from 02:30 to 03:30 when you can hear all their conversation lots of shouting and goodbyes Hotel is situated right next to Alte Brucke on main route in and out of old town near restaurants and bars very loud in the evenings early hours if the morning windows kept no sound out really could do with some form of secondary double glazing as I understand with an older building you cannot always change them. My husband slept in bathroom one night and he can sleep through most things. Shame really

The location. The proximity of the castle
There were a few mosquitos in our room, which we don't like
