Amazing location - only 5 mins walk to main centre. Even a local pub 3 doors down! Super friendly hosts.

I travelled across country to empty my mums flat in 24 hours, I was an exhausted wreck by the time I’d got to quant and quirky,
I was made to feel most welcome by the hosts who went above and beyond, helping and checking if the was anything I needed or help with anything,
The photo’s really don’t do this property justice.. The room was lovely and relaxing, Netflix on the tv eating an ordered Chinese take away
I had a really good nights sleep, first sleep in 48 hours, woke feeling refreshed ready for my long long journey home again..
Even after care was amazing as I’d lost an item on my way home, I thought I’d left it in the room but Justine searched and they were no where to be seen..
I cannot rate Justine and husband enough as they were both amazing- thank you 🥰

There was a lack of heating. Heating came from the electric blanket.

Justine is absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Her house is indeed quaint and quirky, it certainly lives up to its name, we loved it! Fab location for visiting Colchester town centre, everything is within easy walking distance.

Could not fault the people who ran the place extremely helpful about what to see and do in and around colchester a d what buses to get to clacton for the airshow and as regards the airshow one of the best I've ever seen
Nothing just couldn't fault it quaint and quirky at its best decor may not be to some peoples taste but I personally found it very fascinating and likeable will definitely stay again

The house was quaint and very quirky and Justine was an excellent host. The house was only a short walk away from my son's house, the reason for my visit.
Nothing.

Location was superb. Very comfortable bed. But best of all, Justine and her partner looked after us exquisitely well. Super accommodating, approachable and down to earth.
Will 100% be staying here again the next time we come up.
Oh and there is a great pub literally next door.

Come to stay for graduation week.
The host, Justine, was very friendly and helpful, and guided around the house.
The house is decorated warmingly, and provided a small fridge in the room.
Although the house is relatively cold is nature, but the bed is set up with electric blanket that made it warm and cosy to sleep on.
The house is located about 7min walk to the town centre which made is very assessible for public transports and shopping.

I'm Zoé, Paul's daughter, I stayed there for 3 nights while I was working at the Mercury Theatre, I had very long days of work, so staying at Justine's and Mounir's place was very nice and easy.
A very comfortable bedroom and house, hold by lovely people!

I was made very welcome by Justine. This is Justine's home. It is a small terraced cottage with a quaint and quirky collection of many objects. It is conveniently located close to the town centre and suitable for a short stay by one or two people. The room is big enough and well equipped with tea, coffee, kettle, etc. There was space for bags and a chair so I could eat my own prepared breakfast and watch TV. Access is available to the kitchen and the bathroom, beyond the kitchen. The stairs are well lit. Justine helpfully took in my bags in the morning, before check in. I could drop them by car and then park in a long stay car park near by (Pitt Road). I could use the fridge. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was good. Two minor problems in the room were quickly fixed. I would stay again for a short visit.
I know we are in energy saving times and the heating level is understandable but the room could have been a touch warmer. An electric blanket and hot water bottle were supplied.

I went expecting Quaint & Quirky as per the properties heading & that's exactly what I got! Justine with her beautiful rainbow hair & her house, it is just amazing, as so many other guests have previously stated. It is indeed a one off a kind. The bedroom is very comfortable & the bed, do you think I can take it home please.
The house is extremely clean & well decorated, everywhere you looked you would find something new to enjoy & see.
On a serious note the facilities offered are more than what I was expecting, from the lovely fluffy fresh towels, clean crisp bedding & the luxury of a bathrobe whilst enjoying TV cable service with a cup of nectar when I wanted it as it's all there available in the room. There is even a mini fridge to keep the milk & my own canned drink cold.
This lovely house is a couple of minutes walk into town, where I took Justine's recommendation for breakfast & I went to The Playhouse pub.
Highly recommended indeed, I will be back as it is exceptional.
Absolutely nothing.
