The location is at the very end of a small road. The hotel doesn't have a beach with sand, but does have access to the ocean over the volcanic rocks and the pool is lovely. The sandy beach (Naxos) is approximately a 10-15 min walk. In the off season, when we were there, the bus route starts a little farther away, but the staff told us during the tourist season the bus comes much more closely and will take you along the whole beach and up to Taormina. The hotel is full of neat antiques, but the bathrooms and doors/windows have clearly recently been redone, and are modern. The mattress was memory foam and firm, but comfortable. Like much of Europe, the king is two twins pushed together. The rooms are simple, but functional, very clean and comfortable. Super friendly staff.
Bring sturdy beach shoes for walking on the rocks! They provided hours of child entertainment.
I think it's time for the hotel to consider updating their bedspreads. Currently, they are polyester quilted numbers harkening from a 1985 style book. They're clean and in good shape, just a little dated. A white cotton duvet cover with some colorful throw pillows might give them a needed update.
I think in the high season with full occupancy finding enough parking might be a challenge. Was not an issue for us.

Lovely quiet, well maintained pool and great to be able to access the sea easily from the gardens. Evening dinner option was really good quality and good value for money with friendly, helpful staff. Freshly refurbished room with wonderful view. Clean, well kept hotel and gardens
Some distance from public bus routes but we had our car ( with free, safe parking at ground level).

Silent part of Giardini Nacos close to bautifull Taormina with view from some parts of ETNA.

There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

It was far from the center and it was isolated(last one of the hotels on the road)

We opted for the evening meal one night which was very good and excellent value for money.

Grand old hotel with amazing details and antique furniture. Nicely renovated bathrooms in Scandinavian style. Nice pool and great access through the rocks to the sea - lovely!

Breath taking views. Comfortable rooms and a lot of variety offerred during the breakfast. Highly recommended
4.5
Location, friendly personel, sea view, comfy beds. Cleanliness, sea water pool, free seabeds. No need to go to the paid beach at all;) No music by the pool - loved the peace and silence. Stayed one day longer than initially planned cause we liked the views and the pool so much:)
Breakfasts were okay, but the rest of food was overpriced and rather poor (dry pizza, superbitter aperol spritz with tonic, tasteless pasta sauce). Any other place in the town offered better food and drinks than the hotel restaurant and bar.

Nice location next to Taormina city. Hotel has very nice pool with chairs and umbrellas and is located next to the sea with access via lava rocks (no chance to sit there). Rooms were nice, clean and spacious, with nice balcony and view to the sea. You can order dinner at the hotel but we preferred to go to restaurants close by. Staff was nice, always helpful
Probably due to covid we had to order breakfast over the counter. There was only one man during all our stay and each morning was there huge cue to order. Elevator was old, slow and always busy.
3.5
Staff is nice and friendly. Air-condition working. Wifi is good.
Hotel is clean but all furniture is slightly old and out-dated. As a 4 stars hotels, I expected a bit newer.

The "beach" in the backgarden is a wonderful place to snorkel! And the pool is nice! Friendly staff and walking distance to restaurants sandy beaches and other stuff.
It is quite old and would need some renovation.

Everything!! Perfect location! Stunning views, lovely pool! Just perfect! Lovey staff and very helpful
Only thing is the smell in the bathroom from the drains
3.5
Very clean. Staff very friendly. Lots of choice at the breakfast with beautiful view of the swimming pool and the sea. Swimming pool and garden very clean. A really nice and quiet place to stay to relax.
Hotel situated in a cul de sac so no traffic noises.
The entire establishment is outdated. The shower in our room had no pressure. The double bed was in fact 2 single bed.
If you want to dine at the hotel restaurant, a little note at the entrance is telling you, you canno't come dressed with a pair of shorts nor flip flops.
What can be a bad point (but wasn't for us) the swimming pool is with salted water and close at 6.00pm. They lend you towels for 3eur each. And you canno't bring your own food or drinks in the common area.
