Terrific little place and very clean and well maintained.
A sign saying Bantry Bay Haven might have been nice as thats what I booked - only sign said simply B&B.
3.5
The room was adequate, in room supply for breakfast was good. A better mattress would be nice.
The property is almost impossible to locate, it does not provide an address and the house itself just says B&B, not Bantry Bay Haven B&B. We lost 90 minutes. Upon knocking on the door nobody answered. About an hour later having concluded we were at the right property, a young adult opened the door and just said: the key is in the door. After that we did not see anybody anymore.

Really comfortable bed and breakfast in Ballylickey. Own door entrance, en suite, seating area, kettle toaster microwave and fridge. Continental Breakfast supplied. Lovely host.
Could only be improved with a flat screen tv. but the wifi was good in any case.

The view from the bathroom.
Why is this property called Bantry Bay Haven? We couldn't find it and asked locals where it was, and no one had heard of it. When we eventually found it, it had the name Trafford in small writing on the postal box on the gate.
The room itself was compact with nowhere to put our belongings, so we had to leave our suitcases on the floor which gave us even less space to move around. Ensuite was very nice although had cheap towels and bathmat. Bedroom was not as bright and cheerful as shown in the picture but quite dingy with a dark colour scheme.

10/10 recommend- such a lovely room with plenty of breakfast options included. Nice and quiet location but still so close to town. We really loved our stay here and would definitely return

A very quiet and cute place to stay near Bantry.
I like making our own light breakfast.

All the little touches that made our stay great
People could look straight into our room and we had to have blinds closed to have privacy

An absolute gem of a find! Great hospitality, warm welcome, very comfy room, abundant breakfast! Would highly recommend.

Location of the property is very good. Very quiet
Nice room.
Can’t remember ever staying in a b&b where there was no television.
Having to prepare your own continental breakfast in your room was also poor.
Location of the property could not be found by sat nav.

Super gem or haven in idyllic scenery . This self contained unit with abundantly stocked fridge and every toiletry available supplied is Heaven . Siobhán is so accommodating that we parked our car in total security earlier at her place and headed off cycling. The privacy -peace-comfort-cleanliness -location -hospitality are A1. Can’t wait for our next cycling trip to this same “ haven” .
A longer stay😒

This is your only private area.
separate from owners & like a studio flat! Continental breakfast with refrigerator & microwave. And Rosie the pup (see picture) is adorable 🥰
3.5
Very basic continental breakfast. Adequate supply of choices of hot and cold drinks, plenty of fresh milk.
Ideal for disabled person, with direct access from room to car with no steps.
Better signage needed. No indication of 'Bantry Bay Haven' on roadside or even at the house, and poor internet!
It would be good to have some cheese or ham in the fridge to make a true 'continental breakfast'.
A TV in the room would be good.

The room and host were exceptional. It had everything we needed. Even when the power went out due to a storm the host was in touch immediately to reassure us and offer guidance. We could not have asked for more.

Fine.
Blanket was not the warm. No tv.

It was just perfect, everything was set-up in a convenient way in the bedroom. There was plenty to eat and a choice of tea, the coffee was one I use at home, there was plenty of cereal too. This accommodation is so handy for visiting all of West Cork and Co Kerry. I would highly recommend.
There was nothing not to like.
