REALLY NICE FAMILY PLACE TO STAY

THE PROPERTY IS ALLOT BIGGER THAN IT LOOKS FROM THE PHOTOS. LARGE KITCHEN DINING AREA WITH A DOWN STAIRS TOILET AND SHOWER. REALLY NICE GARDEN. THERE WERE LOADS OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN BOARD GAMES, DARTS, BLACK BOARDS, PLAY HOUSE IN THE GARDEN. THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. HAD A BATHROOM/SHOWER UPSTAIRS. THE MASTER BEDROOM NICE AND SPACIOUS. THEY HAD TV IN EVERY ROOM.

THERE WERE ONLY 3 MUGS FOR HOT DRINKS, PLENTY OF GLASSES. I DID HAVE TO GET TEA BAGS, MILK & SUGAR.

Ok for one night. The hand abd body lotion were all over a year past the use by date.

Very clean and welcome pack of bread milk etc.

The attic room - the mattress in the bed was terrible. Springs popping up all over. They need a new mattress.

Exceptional property, ideal for a mixed age group

House was clean, spacious and set up for multiple ages including a dartboard and a magnet dartboard so the children could play too. Essentials left for us including bread, butter, milk and toilet roll were very welcome as it meant we didn't need to rush straight back out to a supermarket. The garden was well fenced and the Wendy house has an abundance of toys that kept the children occupied for hours. The bedding and towels were all presented in lovely bow tied packs which was again extremely useful as there were 7 of us in total to spread across the multiple beds and this allowed us to do so with ease. The team communicated with us well in the lead up to our trip, and also once we had left and they had gone in to turn it around which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be booking again as it was everything we needed as our base for 3 days at Alton Towers.

There is nothing to say here, everything was exactly as we had hoped.

Better than a premier inn. Would love to return.

Host was exceptional. There was bread, butter, coffee, tea, sugar, jam, marmalade and orange left in the house by the host for us to use. Plenty of entertainment to utilise such as darts, smart TV, board games. we were a group of 9 adults who stayed comfortably in the accommodation. Fans in every room which was great as meant everyone could sleep well. The list of positives is endless. would love to return for longer next time.

a lot of the guests found that the dust in the air set off their allergies/asthma. The house wasn't visibly dusty or unclean and was only really detectable by those who were allergic and asthmatic.

The convenience of the property for the purpose of our visit. The kitchen facilities and dining area was very good and allowed for comfortable dinners at the property.

As pointed out by other guests all the mattresses are of a poor quality. They are thin and the springs can be felt. We would like to stay again, but comfortable sleep is very important and I would like to be assured that all mattresses have been replaced.

Great location for Alton Towers and a wonderful place to stay

An excellent place to stay especially with young children as there are lots of toys inside and in the garden to keep them entertained. Lovely and clean with many beds to choose from, so plenty of space for everyone. Wonderful hosts who were able to accommodate us leaving later on check out day due to one of the children becoming poorly overnight and needing a hospital stay. Great location and used as a base to go to Alton Towers for the day which was about 30-40 mins away. Highly recommend!

Lots of little touches to make the kids feel at home e.g. Games, fully stocked TV. Bread jam and butter was a lovely addition. Lovely house.

Master bed was a bit of a mountaineering expedition.

Great House

Staff very responsive to messages and very accomadating. Heating on when we arrived, clean and good facilities (good little touches such as table tennis and board games).

Blinds on Velux vindows in top bedroom would have been great, but being picky.

. Great kitchen/diner for a family gathering. House was clean and comfortable and a good location. A warm welcome on arrival, lights and heating . A lovely surprise to find essential groceries for us to use. Enjoyed our stay.

Bed too small in main bedroom to sleep to adults. Lounge area could be made more welcoming and cosy.
