It was like a home extension. Very clean, quiet and serene.
There was no change of bed sheet all through my stay. I would advise that an extra bed sheet be kept in the wardrobe like they did the towel.

I like where the location is and how simple the room is

Location for travelling onto business address in Leeds was good. Free wifi once I discovered where the code was was good. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and shower was good.
It was a shared bathroom but I was only staying one night so it wasn't a problem. Slight problem with getting into house but it was sorted out fairly quickly.

It was an exceptionally clean room and Janet was a warm and respectful host. Great value for money and a perfect rest spot for my day visiting Leeds solo.

This place is alittle gem. It is more tastefully decorated and given more personal and effective ambience than many hotels several times the price. The owner 'went the second mile' in terms of helpfulness.
The modern well- equiped bathrooom was shared with another room. This did not in fact effect the stay as the other occupant left early and quietly.
It would also have been helpful to know that the house was located at the end of a'dogleg' going off the arm of the cul-de-sac . In fact the owner most helpfully came out and directed me from the 'T' junction. The 'private parking'turned out to be on street - but seemed safe.

It was cheap, and close to the pool where we were competing. Had a kettle and tea/coffee. Easy to park and check-in.
Very strong air freshener smell, and the room was pretty cold with a thin duvet and really thick pillows. Noisy too and the curtains don't shut all the way which lets in street lights. We arrived quite late, but didn't get shown the kitchen or given towels.

Stayed for 3 nights whilst working in central Leeds. Parking in Leeds is over £10 per day, and central hotels are quite expensive. Staying in Petals Room was the perfect choice. Bus every 8 minutes and 20 minute journey from just around the corner (currently £2 single, although normally £2.90), with Free Parking outside the property meant saving on both parking and fuel. The room was bright and had a large wardrobe, bedside cabinet, dressing table with kettle and tea/coffee, and internet connected TV (as well as free WiFi). It does have a shared bathroom with one other room, but that didn't worry me. Because I was working long hours, apart from the first night, I didn't see the host, although that first night the host was very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely use Petals again, even if I was catching the train instead of driving.

there was a issue but it was sorted and it was the hosts fault

The hostess was amazingly kind and supportive. Even though i booked late and turned up very late into the evening (midnight). The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was shared but for the price I couldn't recommend this place more. Also i wasn't driving but there was a major bus route just round the corner
