Exceptional

Size of the apartment was great , location. To everything .Bed very comfortable , living area kitchen. Good Size. Quite apartment.

Having to put our garbage out at the end of stay.

I requested to check-in at 5pm but was told that was early (online it states check-in is from 3pm) but I agreed to 5.30pm. The person letting me into the flat turned up at 5.45pm. He also neglected to give me the entrance code to the building, so when I came back that night I was locked out, no one was available to let me in and I had to find alternative accommodation that evening. Called the next day expecting a refund for the first night and was instead told it was my word against the employee, who said he had told me the code and that I couldn't have been listening. The air-conditioning in the bedroom didn't work: the bedroom 'window' looks into the living room not outside. Stifling hot and I didn't get a good night's sleep for the rest of my stay. Simply awful

Good communication. Property was clean to a good standard. Clear instructions. Good price! I was able to make food as property had everything I needed.

I would prefer to have flexibility when it came to collecting keys. Having to meet host can be a nice personal touch however it means having to stick to a certain schedule even if you may not want to go to the property at that specific time. I found communication via booking.com was slightly annoying felt like I was speaking to a bot or something. But thankfully had a number to a lovely lady so was able to get a better response from her. The process after booking was made and before the arrival date was unnecessarily long.
