Ubicacion excelente, camas estaban bien.
Limpieza de baño compartido mala, no limpiaron la habitacion, los jabones estaban sin envoltorio, y no se podia entrar las 24 horas, solo los fines de semana, domingo solo hasta las 11pm.

location good
Had to ask for bed sheets and towels. Bathrooms really not up to standard. Only cold water. Totally overpriced for New Year's eve (only room we found booking last minute).

Really cool vibes
The tables are always booked, too many bunkers not so many bathrooms. i got food poison at the hostal, and when asked for an alternative breakfast they refuse to provide a more stomach friendly food.
Their volcan and shuffle service the worst! The service was a one hour late IN-Drive who drove really fast and didn’t use the safe belt

staff were really helpful and always so polite, location, the terrace
I don’t think it’s good value for money. The rooms are TINY. The shared bathroom had no hot water and no where to dry your hands.

View from the terrace was amazing
Good value for money

Hotel is very close to the centre, but I did not hear the noise from the street. Beautiful view from the sunny roof top terrace. I liked the decoration of the colonial building.
They answered also very quickly my additional questions about payments before my check-in, so I had time to go exchange for quetzales for cash payment, as It was the best option. Free filtered water, towel, shampoo and soap.
Because my room was very close to the upstairs hallway with window to the hallway, I could hear many hotel clients passing by my window to the toilet. Earplugs were helpful.

Maybe the terrace
A bit spartain but functional.

The staff and location
Our room was on the terrace and had holes near the windows so seemed like we were sleeping outside. As it was extremely cold outside we had a freezing night. Completely overpriced.

Staff is amazing, nice common area, comfortable beds.
The room can be loud, we can hear people talking outside, even if the door is close.

great location
windowless room, which felt very damp.
i also required an early check out, which I informed the staff of the night before. when it came to me leaving the front door was locked, and no staff were present. i had to find the key myself to get out in time to catch my bus.

Felt like home! Staff and owner are so kind. Excellent location! Such a beautiful rooftop patio as well!

As many people said the terrace is the best thing. Maybe a mattress in the terrace would it be the best option and sleep in there and not in the room where I had a horrible experience.
Toilets are disgusting, no one clean it and no paper twice in a day. I stayed one night, a large group came at night and they were all allocated around my room. Terrible noise, not able to sleep. Locals making noise at 2 am, then 3 am… At around 6 am a girl was just outside my room with loud music on the phone. Security not even to bother to tell them something. Noises from the group continue the whole morning so I went to the terrace to cook something. Impossible due to this group cooking and kitchen is very small with not enough pots and pans. After the whole group left I decided to have some rest before my check out, but suddenly the manager with her phone playing loud and annoying music outside my room. Was like a joke not able to rest. And staff is not friendly, after I check out I hang out in the terrace and then want it to cook as I couldn’t do it in the morning and the manager mentioned to me that technically if I check out and wasn’t supposed to use the kitchen. After all happened to me, what a miserable customer service from manager/owner. You can get many other comfortable places and with good prices instead of this place.

A cute spot with really warm, friendly staff. The hotel wasn't busy at all when I was there, so it was quite quiet. The location is great. Everything was perfectly clean and the rooftop is rustic but beautiful with stunning views. My room was very tiny, but sufficient. For the price, I found this hotel to be great value.
A mirror and hook to hang a wet towel in the room would be awesome!

The staff were friendly and the room met my needs in an emergency when I had to change accommodations. I like that they provided water for guests.
The door to the room and the shower knob were falling off (not a problem for me, I was just worried they might want to charge me for that). Not all of the electrical sockets seemed to be functioning. The room quite small. There was little room for anything other than two beds. Despite this I had a good experience!

Very friendly staff, very quiet at night, great sleep I had! And thanks for the help with taxi to airport at night!
The shower and toilet a little bit too small

Very good location, very nice staff, solid amenities, noise and light aside.
It was pretty noisy in the hotel, with a lot of light getting into the room from the lights outside the room and an open vent between the private bathroom and the community bathroom next door. Better curtains would go a long way here. And maybe I'm just too dumb to read the details, but I at least was surprised that they didn't accept credit card when I showed up.
