The view of the volcano is the only thing we really enjoyed
There was no water to shower in the morning when we woke up. Called and person in charge ignored my phone calls until I went to front desk and complained about it. Problem was solved 5 minutes before we left

The views couldn't get any better. The hotel is literally face to face with a volcano, the reason you travel to this part of El Salvador. The hotel is incredibly modern and everything is well kept, clean and sparkling. The restaurant serves good food and the drinks are reasonably priced, considering you're at the top of the volcano park, it is still affordable.
The room had a pretty funky order that seemed to get stronger the longer we stayed. Also, the front desk staff could do a better job of ensuring all guest have the information necessary to complete the Santa Ana hike. Being that there is only one hike available everyday at 9am, it would be wise for the hotel staff to check-in with guests to ensure they are aware of this policy. At a minimum, it might be helpful to put a sign with this information in the lobby in case these details were overlooked on the drive into Cerro Verde.

This property is very clean. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. The views were amazing! Food at the restaurant was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the property and everything in it closes at 8pm - including the restaurant!

The location and view. Loved the big mirror.
Found 3 big bugs that we had to kill inside the room. Towels were stained.

The room was great; no complaints at all. Beautiful, well designed, quiet, tasteful, comfortable.
Hot or even warm water in the shower would have been nice, especially since it was cold out. The restaurant food was edible and the service was indifferent at best.

No chairs available on patio over looking the Volcano, no chairs on the bedroom Patio to enjoy the backyard of the room. The trash container for the soil toilet paper doesn’t have a lid. The simple chicken soup we ordered was cold.

The nature surrounding the hotel and the on site restaurant were amazing!
The location restricts guest from experiencing night life if you’re looking to go dancing or go to a bar.

Breakfast was delicious and restaurant is very beautiful with a fantastic view! Staff was extremely attentive and respectful; acquiesced all of our requests and needs. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Layout of the hotel was wonderful and easy to get around. Superseded my expectations.
The only unexpected things were: the lack of AC and the amount of bugs in the room. Being as the hotel is in the middle of a forest there are bugs creeping all around and some bugs are expected but it seems a little extra care can be taken to mitigate excessive amounts of insects in the room. We had bugs, mosquitoes and large spiders in our room, on our bed and in our bathroom.

The view its beautifull. The people at reception very nice, helpfull make us feel very wellcome. Everything in the room very clean and luxery. The food at the restaurant very good, reasonble prices and luxury place
The wellcome drink it could be better giving us more choises. Mopping the floor while people are eating do not look appropiate unless it is needed . No instructions on how to turn the heat on, need to call service to find out you need to do it from the fuse box. The glass table in the room a bit dangerous so you can bump your knee especially on the corners

The view of the volcano was incredible.
Expensive and the complementary breakfast was confusing at the restaurant. They overcharged me.

We could see the volcano
too much attention on style & decor and not enough thought to practicality. Nowhere to hang clothes, or towels in bathroom, only one bedside table, poor shower
breakfast juice from a box, etc. No area exclusive to hotel guests. Very disappointing and expensive for what it actually offers. Do not recommend.

we loved everything about the facility and the breakfast and lunch was delicious
we didn’t like the pupusas and at the checkout we felt that the staff was kind a pushy.

Incredible views, perfect climate. A great place to relax and enjoy nature and the company.
Food at the restaurant was good and priced reasonably. The service was very good.
Facilities were upscale and the view of the Izalco volcano from our room was extraordinary.
Highly recommended
Two recommendations:
The big green exit sign on top of the door, inside the room, was a problem for us since we need a dark room to sleep. It isn’t necessary, please turn it off or move it outside. A safe deposit box in the rooms would be a great addition.

location and big rooms, great view over the volcano
too expensive for rooms with no hot water and mediocre breakfast (you had to choose between orange juice and black drip coffee and pay even the additional milk….!!!!) outdoor space furniture was dirty too because of rain and big stray dogs would roam around the garden making noise at night and waking you up…not much fun. the restaurant had fireplaces but no one would use them during the night even though it was cold - so you were left freezing while having dinner. plus the staff kept mopping the floor all the time, even though there were too few guests, so you were eating breakfast while inhaling floor detergent. definitely not worth the $200+ per night but it’s a monopoly in the area so they charge whatever they want. at a minimum though - they should use solar panels to get hot water all the time. they use boilers which are costly and give only lukewarm water. In the morning I basically had to shower for 5 min with half cold water. not what I signed up for!!!!
