This home conquers indoor-outdoor living, with retracting glass doors opening up the interior to the elements, allowing you to feel the sea breeze while reading a good book from the floor-to-ceiling library. The open-concept kitchen, dining area and living room benefit from bespoke features like a marble fireplace, a dazzling chandelier, and an antique Asian wall screen. Beyond the luxurious home comforts, you'll find the local area to be full of life. Corral Beach only takes nine minutes to reach in the car and there are surfboards in the home that guests are free to borrow. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area sits behind the home in the opposite direction if you want to see LA's wild beauty. Home truths: *Parking spaces are available, although the home is reached by a steep and curvy street *There's also an electric vehicle charging point available *Your host asks that you please do not make noise on the front deck due to an elderly neighbour *The home is split across two levels and there are steps to reach the main entrance, so it might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility *Take care when using the white towels as there is a $30 fee charged for towels spoiled by make-up and hair dye *Security patrols frequent the area two to three times a day and there are external cameras rolling, too *The home can be rented out for film and video shoots — contact the host for more details
