The location was excellent. The accommodation was clean and inviting. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was really well appointed. Tastefully decorated.Excellent recommendations from host as to where to eat.

Exceptional

The Sennen Cove Retreat is perfectly located and was perfect for what we needed. It is a very well stocked apartment and we enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the sea in the evening.

Perfect place to stay. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Everything was thought of including milk, tea, coffee and even a bottle of wine left for us. Location was ideal.

We had a very comfortable stay in a super location - ideal for our walking plans.

Excellent location, very friendly, helpful host, very well-equipped apartment as well as nice extra touches, like the bottle of wine, biscuits etc. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water.

The bed was comfortable but the bedroom was a little cramped. However, the overall living space was generous. We will happily stay again.

The apartment is totally unsuitable for people in my age group and more of a surfing let.

the car parking, although difficult to access and very narrow with a high curb to mount in order to clear the bus turning area.

Apartment location was behind the owners apartment and had been created by digging into the cliff, hence all the windows had no view and all faced brick walls, including the patio door. The photographs were totally misleading as there was no balcony with the apartment. There was little privacy with owners door having a "spy window" in their door opposite guest entrance. We did not feel like we were on holiday in Sennen Cove until we got outside and walked past the owners windows to the car. The one bedroom was far too cramped even with the smallest double bed that was possible to fit in it. I let my wife have the room and spent 4 nights on a very uncomfortable sofa bed in the lounge.

comfortable & beautiful place to stay with lovely hosts

sennen cove retreat was in a great location in the cove opposite beautiful sennen beach it was immaculately clean , well furnished and decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable Lauren and Steve are lovely people, they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and even left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift which was a very nice gesture we highly recommend The sennen retreat as a great place to stay for exploring the surrounding areas.

brilliant location and friendly host

massive well equiped kitchen for a small one bedroom flat, also with an outer back enclosed small patio [no view to coast] and elevated garden if you needed solitude. Close to little convenience store and cafe as well as pub. Host also left a wonderful goodie basket with milk in fridge..really lovely touch!

bedroom is small and so all it can accommodate is a small double bed, as we are used to super king...we compensated by also using the sleeper couch which was more than adequate - just slept separately to get good nights sleep. No view of sea or coast from property when inside it.

A perfect apartment for exploring Cornwall

Perfect location to explore Cornwall, walking distance along the beautiful cost to Lands End and the amazing beach opposite. Lovely apartment, quiet, very well equipped and fabulous hosts, Lauren and Steve, on hand next door. The arrival goodie basket was much appreciated.

Nicely kitted-out, immaculately clean, great stay.

Lovely hosts, well equipped and thoughtfully provisioned. Much better kitchen setup than most, with salt, pepper, oil, milk, and full set of cleaning and dishwashing kit provided. Super-friendly (in a good way) hosts who went out of their way to accommodate us without being in any way intrusive.

Sleeping in the sofa-bed area would mean early waking as there are currently no curtains or blinds on the French doors, one of the high windows, and the kitchen window. If someone is sleeping in that part, bring an eye mask.
