The property is well kept
The jacuzzi (hot tub) was out of order due to a problem with a filter. We were informed that the usage of Jacuzzi is an additional charge of £65, however on booking.com it was advertised as included

This is our 2nd Christmas spent here, so to come back for a second time says it all really. Excellent hosts and provided everything we needed for a great Christmas break yet again. No doubt we will be visiting again in the future
Nothing, everything you need was there. We just turned up, clothes, food and enjoyed this place

well located and well equipped owners were very excellent with communicating which make the booking experience fantastic
was a little misleading that the hot tub wasn’t included initially. some clearer info would be better

Loved the hotub, views & surrounding area, having access to the field the kids could run wild, outdoor games jenga & golf, roasting marshmallows on firepit, hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, very clean house had pretty much everything we needed would stay again
Would be good to have a washing/drying machine but does have heated towel rack in bathroom

Lovely location, very clean. Really nice touches with the children’s activity pack, puzzle box, birthday balloon, tea, coffee etc. Beautifully decorated and furnished.
Only a little thing but the bed was a bit small. Would have liked a bigger one but that’s just personal preference as we have a super king and my husband still takes up most of the room!

Lovely location with a 9 acre field next door for the kids to play in with giant jenga and a rounders set.
The view from the main bedroom was stunning and we enjoyed watching the trains in the distance.
We all enjoyed opening the puzzle box Nigel and Laura left out for us too.
It was all very comfortable and charming.
The wood fired hot tub took a long time to heat up - but it was lovely and warm when we arrived.
A veg peeler in the kitchen drawers would have been useful.

The hot tub was amazing and well worth the extra for it. We really enjoyed the puzzle box, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Literally the only criticism would be that the master bedroom bed was very hard- both me and my partner had achey backs the next morning! Otherwise a perfect stay

lovely and clean, well equipped and lots of extra touches for canine guests - very dog friendly

We booked Bracken Farm Hot Tub Heaven for two nights to visit my mum who lives nearby. It was a cold January weekend but the cottage was super warm and cosy. The decor is new, fresh and the underfloor heating was a treat. Our dog particularly appreciated it! The hosts Nigel and Laura had left us milk, eggs and biscuits which was a nice touch. The beds are really comfy and the TV is big enough to impress my teenaged son. The shower was big and warm but the bathroom is downstairs which could be tricky for small children etc. There is a field next door where we walked our dog and lots of nice pubs nearby.
Just be aware that wood-fired hot tubs are not like traditional electric ones - they take hours and hours to heat up. We paid Laura and Nigel an extra £25 to heat it before our check-in and we were glad we did - we had a lovely hour in it. Unfortunately when we returned home after dinner, the fire had gone out and we didn't end up using the hot tub again as we didn't want to spend six hours stoking it the following day. So only plan to use it if you have a long time to get the heat going.

Lovely property, nice and sweet owners.
Very clean and real photos

The owners of the property are lovely very helpful, the property has access to lovely farm fields perfect for a dog walk in a morning. The downstairs of this property is beautiful very spacious. It's in a great location for train access to Lincon, Sundown adventure and lots of other great areas.
The second bedroom is quite small more suitable for children than adults and lacking wardrobe facilities. The hot tub never really got to a temperature that you could full enjoy it.
