Great location by the beach and very nice staff.
The rooms at the ground floor don't have windows, which is a shame.

Amazing view from the window. Beach and sunset right in front of the balcony. The restaurant, sunset and Old Monk are lovely. Special respect to Radj
They didn't change the linen even once, but maybe we should have asked :-)

Good location
Peace and quiet
Clean beach
Wonderful restaurant staffs
Friendly owners
Manager was not that pleasant to deal with. He looked not prepared and booked us in a wrong room when we arrived. They did compensate later by giving a better room for one day which is appreciable.

9.0 / 10.0
the location, the restaurant and basic but essential amentinities in the room.
Some of the staff were not friendly perhaps they don’t get paid enough for all the hard work. i work in hotels too, and i know over worked staff on hard days will still smile if they are being compensated well.
Service at the restaurant was very slow, such a shame because the restaurant serves some lip smacking food.

Nice facility and rooms are equipped with ambiance light. Direct connection to the beach via a bridge. Very quite surrounding.
Restaurant/Cafe is nice to chill and enjoy the view.
The basic rooms have no windows (!) and it was full of mosquitos, which we had to chase out with insense sticks No wardrobe or fridge in the rooms.

The staff and management were exceptional. So helpful and friendly. I loved the style and decor of the place. It was in a great location, with its own private beach, and restaurant overlooking the sea. The food was fantastic, too.
Only a couple of little things. Some shelves or drawers for clothes would have been good. Also, my room (106) faced the sea, but big palm leaves had grown up so there was no sea view at all. We would have really appreciated a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. Although it wasn't too much trouble to go to the restaurant for a cup of tea.

Awesome staff, extremely helpful.
Would like to extend my thanks to Mr Lavlesh, and Mr. Sonu. They are lovely.
View to the sea is awesome
Great hookah, and reasonable rates
Food, drinks, sheesha at reasonable rates, not overpriced
(Of course, we went during off season in mid August)
Four wheeler parking issue.
The owner of a house in that property is a bit of an a&&. He had dumped stone chips in the driveway. Had to ask him nicely to get those removed.
Please contact the owners of the hotel, especially Mr Lavlesh, where to park your car.
He is extremely helpful, and sweet

Location Beachfront, outside benches. Pet friendly.
Poor cleanliness, lot of ants and bedding was sprayed with something for pest control.
No windows in room. Difficult to find any reasonable transport near by.
No tv in room. No shower facility to cleanup once back from beach.
No phone in room requires walking up to lobby for anything. Short staffed.

The place is really good. The food is amazing. Being a vegetarian I am always apprehensive of Goa food. But this place surpassed my expectations. They have a perfect variety of cuisines. Alu parantha was really good. Their pad Thai is a must-try. (This place has almost Delhi-like food).
The location is also great. You have a beach view and you can take a walk on the beach. The beach was not very crowded. During the daytime, there is almost no crowd on the beach. But you might get sunburnt. So be careful about that.
The only downside is there might sometimes be a bit of smell when the river goes on low tide. But being from Mumbai you are already used to that kind of smell :))

I would highly recommend Chique Shanti, it's a fabulous place to stay right on the beach. My room was gorgeous with a balcony overlooking the sea. A place is made even more beautiful by the people and Shanti and her staff were fantastic, we were treated so well from the moment we arrived. We had great fun and were sad to leave. Chique Shanti also has a spa where I had an amazing ayurvedic massage, the girls there were so lovely. If you're looking for a place to stay,in Mandrem, Chique Shanti won't disappoint. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank You Shanti

The location was right on the beach. The rooms we had, 108 and 109, were on the first floor and gave us a delightful view through the french windows. The room had a balcony too with the same view. The food at the restaurant was good.
On the first day, the air conditioner was a bit off. Kept making a lot of noise. However this could have been because it was very hot and the load on the electrical supply caused a drop in the voltage. Without doing any repairs, it behaved itself for the rest of our stay.

We visited Chique Shanti to just unwind and also celebrate our first anniversary... The setup they helped my husband surprise me with was soooo dreamy and amazing a private gazebo on the beach with fairy lights and the full moon... Everyone from the owner to the staff was very very humble and courteous and fun. There was not a moment of boredom or complaint... Everything was just perfect. The chef is amazing as well... The food was just so comforting and on point. A big big shout out to the staff... Sonu, Rakesh bhaiya, and the star Bapi Da (if you visit do not forget to ask him to click your pictures the guy is a bundle of talent)... And last but not the least the woman behind this beautiful place Shanti she's a pataka she was always there and made sure every intricate detail is taken care of to make my day special... A must must visit...
I dint like the fact that I had to leave soooo soon :(
