Piękne widoki. Do domu prowadzi spora ilość schodów, ale to jest normalne jak na Amalfi. Na dachu znajduje się taras z przepięknym widokiem. Bardzo dobry kontakt z z właścicielką. W pobliżu można zajść do Baru Santa Rosa z przemiłą obsługą, gdzie można zjeść włoskie wypieki i wypić pyszną kawę.
Zapach wilgoci pierwszego dnia. Słaby odpływ wody w łazience. Łazienka znajduje się w sypialni na górze. Słabe wyciszenie do pokoju sąsiadów.

La tranquilidad del sitio, estaba a 5 min en moto de Amalfi. Las vistas de la terraza son espectaculares.

Beautiful charming apartment with everything you need. The property was immaculate with Spectacular views. We highly recommend this place for a stay on the Amalfi coast. Just perfect in every way. Stani and Elena were the perfect hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful. The have an excellent knowledge of the local area and their communication was excellent.

The house is exactly like in the pictures. It's cosy and clean. We had a great time there.
Take it seriously when they advise you to take light luggage only, it's difficult access through stairs.

The location of the house is perfect. It is near to the bus stop, the beach in Conca di Marini is also not far away. The rooms are well equipped. The house is really authentical, it is full with cermaics which are made by host, really nice. The view to the see is beautiful. Stani and Elena are really friendly and helpful, the shopping with Stani together was really fun, he knows the good places and products. :) We cooked really often and helped us to select the good and fresh veggies, pasta and wines :)
Sometimes the water pressure and the temperature in the shower was not good. (Probably old technik, pipes or location of the house)

The house was perfect it was very comfortable and nice decorated and had a great view. Also very good spot to visit the Amalfi coast with a car since it was close distance with all the villages around. Our host Elena was very kind and always available when we needed something. I would stay there again if I was to visit the Amalfi coast in the future :)

Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Lovely views from the terrace.
Fantastic location: Conca is probably the least commercial and crowded (and the most authentic and peaceful) village on the Amalfi coast.
The bed was very uncomfortable and needs replacing.
You cannot stand up in the bedroom due to the very low ceiling.

Elena is very responsive
Great deal and value for money
Amalphy area is very steep
There are many stairs everywt
Should be taken in account for disabled or elderly people

Excellent accommodation! Really enjoyed our stay and the host was excellent. Would recommend this to everyone looking for a great spot along the Amalfi Coast.

Amazing hosts. Whatever you asked, they would help. Whether suggestions for restaurants or providing contact details for people who could ensure transport. They would also of their own accord ask how you were, and whether they could do something for you.
Views from the terrace were stunning.
For 'daily amenities', it was useful that a really good (and cheap) restaurant as well as a small supermarket were located approx. 1 km from flat. Bus stop (with very few daily) buses located 200 mtrs from apartment.
The distance to the beach was much greater than anticipated - and twice as long as indicated on Booking.com. It was 2 km or roughly a 30 minute walk involving a lot of stairs (and 250 vertical metres). Booking.com claims the distance is 1 km. This was very disappoing since we were there with our two children, and we had booked the flat exactly because we wanted a beach 'within an easy strolling distance'.
The flat itself is quite cosy - but quite 'impractical'. Beds were not good - especially the sofa bed on ground floor was terrible with springs going through the mattres. In bathroom there was a permanent stench of sewage from defect plumbing system. When taking a shower, the entire bathroom floor would become wet. Partially as a result of this, towels would become soaked after a shower, and only because we were blessed with amazing whether, could we dry them. Otherwise clothes, bedlinen, towels would have been permanently wet or damp.
Kitchen quite outdated. OK for making breakfast or for preparing sandwiches - but don't expect to be able to actually cook a meal.
It would have been nice if the rooftop terrace was equipped with comfortable reclining chairs or deck chairs or similar. Right now mainly suitable for a small meal or similar.

Quiet place, if you don't have too many luggges and like to go hiking, here's a good place.
Althugh there're videos and some description on the website, but didn't specific enough for the customers to know how far is the distance between apratment and the nearest bus stop. I mean you have to climb 129 stairs with the heavy lugage.
Second, the toilet is not clean. The Wifi didn't connect really well.

great hospitality from owner Stani, easy to get around close to bus station
shower was a bit weak but understandable from the mountains

Nice & cozzy. Very good communication with the owner. Quiet place.
Wish I knew there were so many steps leading to the place. I'm in my 30s, but this was quite an exercise.

beautiful view, wonderful house with great accommodations and very roomy, lovely host who was extremely helpful and responded quickly with all of our many questions, local neighborhood had restaurants and the bazaar, close to the bus stop and bus tickets
steps were extremely difficult, i thought it was closer to the beach, floor in bathroom got drenched from the shower which might have made a little smell

Our hosts Stani and Elena were very helpful. Stani collected us at the airport in Naples for a fair rate and drove us to their lovely holiday home. He gave us the key in person and showed us around their lovely property.

Stani was an exceptional host. Besides providing transfer services at a great price, he showed us around, gave us some great tips about the whole coast, not just Conca, and blessed us with great conversations. Conca de Marina is a charming hidden gem with a lovely little beach few great restaurants, and some very friendly locals. The house itself is bond words, an artistic little heaven in the hills overlooking the sea, and I would strongly recommend staying here.
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like

We had a wonderful week in this nice apartment in Conca dei Marini.
From the beginning we felt very welcome and our hosts Stani and Elena were very caring and helpful. All their advices and recommendations made our trip easier and memorable.
The apartment is as nice and cozy as you can see on the pictures and especially the unique ceramic pieces and small details make it a special place. Particularly the roof terrace and its view is a favourite spot. You find yourself surrounded by nature and hear the singing birds.
Of course you have to manage all these stairs to reach the apartment, but you’ll get used to it (especially if you start exploring Conca with much more steps).
All in all it is a exceptional and peaceful place and I warmly recommend staying there!

It's a really great and quiet place. The view from the terrace is incredible. The flat is large and air conditioning is available if it gets too hot.
The contact with the owner was excellent.
Close to the place of stay, a bar with a very good local Gin is easily accessible, as well as 2 restaurants offering excellent meals.
If you need to get to the town of Amalfi, there is a bus stop nearby.
Beware that the apartment is situated uphill, so you will need to climb a lot of stairs. In normal speed you will need 20min to join a nice beach.

Very nice views from the very big terrace to the Amalfi city and Amalfi coast. Very quiet. Stani - the owner was amazing. He took care of us from the beginning to the end of the stay. He picked us up from the port to the accomodation giving a lot of advice and tips on what to do, where to shop and where to eat the best during our stay. The house was big and the inside was fresh which helped to rest from the heat outside. Furnished and decorated in traditional style. Clean.

Perfect house, perfect hosts, perfect location. I can't recommend this house enough! Elena and Stani are super nice and went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable, was safe and even recommended places to eat and visit. Stani picked me up at Grotta dello Smeraldo bus stop and drove me to the house, and on my last day drove me to Amalfi because it was holiday and we weren't sure if the bus would come. There is a bus stop through right in front of the Monastery Santa Rosa, which is very convenient and will take you to Amalfi and Agerola up the hill. The house is amazing, renewed and decorated in the local style, full of hand-made decorations and I felt like I was visiting old friends rather than like a tourist. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, which is nice, compared to other places I stayed via Booking.com. The terrace has an amazing view on the sea (180° sea view!) and has a stove, where you can cook. So, if you are looking for a five-star treatment and like to experience the local atmosphere and don't mind a few steps (but the view is worth it!), then this is the best place to stay.
Loved everything. Just mind that you have to climb couple dozen of stairs to get to the house.

In appreciation of our stay -
Our visit to the Amalfi coast was made ever more pleasant thanks to your home and hosting skills. Stanni is a well informed, highly personable and empathetic person who not only took time to make sure we were comfortable with his lovely home, but gave us key insights into the local hot spots and crucially the ideal restaurants for the best cuisine at the best prices.
We cannot thank you enough for the above and beyond service you provided - transporting us from the airport for a better fee than all taxi services offered, taking us to a local cheese maker so we could experience the taste of your home and sharing a part of your soul with us so fearlessly and with joy.
We would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area - and while there may be a few stairs involved to get to the property, the quiet and views and hosting more than make up for this. On top of this we found Conca Dei Marini to be the best area to stay as the vibe was more authentically Italian versus the more touristy energy of the surrounding places.
Will be sure to come again should we visit the Amalfi :)

La Casina del Pennolo is a beautiful, charming little house in a quiet setting on the slopes of the Amalfi coast. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is present (kitchen with all kitchenware, comfortable bathroom, wi-fi, ...) but what makes the house stand out is the irresistible charm with which it has been decorated by the owners. All details (even the light-knobs) are in beautiful colours and breathe the atmosphere of the Amalfi coast. Another thing we particularly liked was the outside area with a breakfast table and a terrace overlooking the bay (and with a view of Amalfi harbour).
If you are looking for that charming, quiet getaway spot on the Amalfi coast that is still close to public transport (there's a bus stop to Amalfi and to Sentiero degli dei just 50 metres away), then stop looking, because you have found it when you book this one.
Conca dei Marini itself is a quiet town on the Amalfi coast (quite an exceptional combination) with a small supermarket and 2 restaurants, all within walking distance.
A special mention to the owners Elena and Stani, who picked us up at the bus stop (the other bus line coming from Positano is down the hill), offered us a lift to the supermarket and gave us all the info we needed.
Just one thing to bear in mind: you can't park a car next to the house - you need to climb 120 steps to get from the street to the house. But frankly, we didn't mind at all, to the contrary, since in return we got that beautiful, quiet location that quickly felt like home.
