The cottage is in a great location, near restaurants and shopping, and is very comfortable, except cold during the day when the heat is not turned on. I would stay here again.
We arrived after dark, and the cottage was on a dark street with no lights. It would have been easier if a light by the front door had been turned on. Also, we were sent the wrong lock box code 6 times in email communications. It took us two hours to get finally get the correct code after Booking.com was able to talk to the owner of the property and get the correct code. It was not a pleasant experience.

Loved the central location. Cosy with pretty decor. Plenty of leaflets in the drawer but many were out of date or irrelevant. Excellent shower. Useful to have a downstairs toilet as well as a bathroom. Liked the roller blind as well as the curtains to keep the room dark at night.
Bit of noise and smell from the nearby extractor fans. They were an eyesore too in such a pretty area. I would put up trellis in the courtyard to hide them. The gutters need cleaning out as they were overflowing. The shower also kept filling up as the waste needs to be cleaned out. We paid for nearby parking on a driveway as we were worried it would be a problem.

The location was perfect! Cozy. We enjoyed Smiths next door.
This is our 4th time staying in Bourton, it’s the perfect village!
The key box was a little hard for us.

Excellent location close to shops and cafes. The sun room is a lovely spot overlooking the garden. The beds are very comfortable. We arrived before check in time but the owner very kindly let us deposit our luggage and this was greatly appreciated. She also responded quickly and sympathetically after I lost the front door key.
There was a problem with the oven and I couldn’t get the range hood to work but perhaps that was my ineptitude. A set of sharp knives would be a good addition to the utensils provided. The main bedroom is very small so it was difficult to move around the bed which took up most of the room. It would be challenging for a really large person but was ok for me.

Great location and size perfect for 4.
The decor is tired needs a paint refresh. Makes it look dirty particularly downstairs toilet.

The location was fabulous! Very cozy spot in the middle of the town.
We thought the cottage was so cute & cozy & wanted to extend our travel by one day when we got there. However, we reached out to booking.com & the property a couple of times & could not get through with emails& never heard back. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower would get clogged and the water would not go down so you had to keep shutting g off the water.

omg this property is amazing! The location is everything, the beds are super comfy. This was the perfect spot for us to base ourselves while we were in the Cotswolds. We absolutely loved our stay!!!
if I had to choose something, it’d be the lack of parking (not surprising though and definitely not something that would stop us from staying here in the future). also the shower did not drain very well but not a big deal

Location was honestly the only good point
The cleanliness was disgusting. I had to clean where I needed to put my belongings as thick dust and alot of hairs. The floors weren't swept. Inside drawers were dirty. Dirty towels. Cobwebs everywhere. Tacky workmanship. 3 years out of date coffee sachets! The owner took money from my account for leaving dirty towels until I supplied photos of the unclean property, they refunded the money but no apologies or explanation! The price for 2 nights was over £500 would of liked at least a cleaner. There were smoke alarms but only the back casing. Just a few of the photos attached

We loved the location, so great to be in the middle of everything. The cottage was lovely and a great set up for a family. parking nearby wasn’t an issue either.

Quaint little house in a fantastic location if you want to be right in the centre of a lovely village. The outside space was a huge bonus, especially as we could bring our dog.
It’s an old building, which is part of its charm, but it did feel down at heel in places - stained carpet, sofa needs a steam clean - and the kitchen and bathroom were not the cleanest, with food drips and toothpaste splashes quite obvious.

great location. really clean. beds really comfortable!
it wasn’t that well stocked with the essentials. only 2 dishwasher tablets for a family of 4, not much in the way of sugar, salt pepper etc. only sets of cutlery. we emailed the host to ask if there was any more wood available for the fire but no response…
