Neues Hotel, guter Zustand und sauber.

Es werden pro Tag 25 Dollar für Parken und weitere Leistungen berechnet, die angeblich verpflichtend sind, ob man sie möchte oder nicht. Diese Leistungen gehören meiner Meinung nach dann in den Zimmerpreis inkludiert. Es hat uns 5 Tage Diskussion mit dem Personal über das Management bis zum General Manager gekostet, diese Kosten von 125 Dollar für 5 Tage wieder abzuziehen , eine Frechheit. Hunde im Frühstücksbereich, wir wurden beim Frühstück holen vom Personal gefilmt, angeblich um es den Verwandten zu zeigen. Pool in Betonumgebung mit dröhnenden Klimaanlagen.

Overall it was ok, however, no included parking, no future visits.

The room was pretty large in size. The hotel is brand new.

We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and proceeded to take our luggage out of the vehicle. We were greeted by a valet. I told him I won't be using valet services. The valet insisted that it was required to use the valet, that we would be charged whether we used the valet or not, and that overnight street parking was illegal. He also stated that people have been observed looking into the parked vehicles, suggesting possible criminal intent. There are no signs indicating that parking is unlawful at any time around the hotel. Many other vehicles were parked outside as well. As I walked inside to the front desk to inquire about this policy, the valet proclaimed that I had to move my vehicle within 10 minutes. The attendant at the desk also stated that overnight street parking was illegal, per town ordinance. I insisted that I will not pay for valet, a service that I will not be using, and that I will be parking on public streets. Booking advertised the hotel as not having any parking at all and not mentioning a required valet fee of $25.99 plus tax per day whether it is used or not. The attendant "did me a favor" and did not charge for valet at all. I safely parked on the street for my five day stay, without incident. Anyone who experienced this similar interaction should demand a refund.

The hotel is new, clean, service was excellent. We didn't try the restaurant or the bar at the top, but the breakfast was excellent with a great variety.

There is no free parking, as a matter of fact there is no place to park at all, we were told to either "find parking on the street or valet", which I think it's ridiculous, we travel regularly and there is always self parking at the hotels. This is poor planning. The rooms are noisy, there it was always a noise in the room similar to when there is not enough insulation and you hear the people next door using the bathroom for showers, etc, except the noise came from the side of the room where there it was no bathroom, another noise was from when we think tje AC kicked on, not sure what it sounded like. Again, poor building design and planing. Now, the elevators, there are 3, which are not enough in the late afternoon/early evening when people are trying to reach the upstairs restaurant/bar. We ended up taking the stairs to the 3rd floor twice.

The location was excellent! I have severe food allergies and the wait staff and chef worked with me on creating a meal that would work for me!

parking situation felt like a rip off which left a very negative taste and ruined the overall exp.

location is pretty good

Parking situation (valet only) is ridiculous. Entire street has free parking but, according to the hotel, you are not allowed to park street side overnight and have to use overpriced valet parking. there is even a matching warning printed on a sheet of paper in the room. funny enough, when I got up during the night and looked out of the window i could see plenty(!) of cars parked and none had any ticket when I checked the next morning. I also double checked the street for any signs that suggest you are not allowed over night but there are no such signs to be found. so while there might be some odd county ordinance stating that street sight parking is not allowed over night, it certainly does not seem to be enforced where the hotel is located. in addition, the guy at the check in was pretty much on auto pilot - no proper welcome, no explanation on the hotel, , breakfast, wifi, bar, pool etc. just processed the check in and handed over the key card - that's it - hardly said two words.

Confirmable stay with the family

Entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Amber at the reception on the first day was great, she helped in changing the room with no hassle when we realized that the king size bed was not enough for the family. I forgot the name of the lady who was at the bar that night but she ensured to get my Old Fashioned drink even after the bar closing time as she was around, and she was very welcoming and made a perfect drink which made my day. Breakfast was included which was great! They have a rooftop bar too with nice music on. Hotel is new, rooms were super clean. Easy accessible to the city center

Free parking should be included which I assume will be included soon. I was able to get the parking on the street in front of the hotel without any hassle.

The hotel put a hold of 3 times the stay amount on my card, then charged incorrectly. This hotel is brand new and you can tell there are construction issues and unfinished details like paint, trim, and lack of room lighting.

Very beautiful place to visit

The room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the free breakfast...very delicious! We also enjoyed a walk on Vilano beach and took many beautiful pictures. We were very impressed with Hyatt Place and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I have suffer from lower back pain, and our only negative from this trip would be that the bed was too soft. Everything else was great!

Water pressure in the shower is a joke , a garden hose is stronger , room wasn’t clean when we first arrived , food crumbs everywhere and it took a while to get it cleaned and was told that’s something extra room service doesn’t do when there’s a pet involved , not sure what that meant. It was room 270

We loved the short walk to the beach, the decorations for the holiday, the cleanliness of the rooms and layout. Plenty of space for us to enjoy.

The elevator was touch and go as it slammed shut. Had some concern of being stuck.

good value, but they owe us money

The rooftop bar

After we paid our bill and got home we found a $30. charge to our credit card. I called and was told that this was for any misc. charges that may have come up during our stay( there were none), and this should be credited back to us within a few days. Today makes the 8th day and we still have not received the credit. We left 2 phone messages with the accounting department but have received no reply. This is a major mistake for a hotel to make especially after we enjoyed our stay.

Not What We Expected

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was new, modern, clean, and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the pool and roof-top restaurant. The beds were nice, but the mattresses were slightly soft for us. The hotel restaurants were a little pricey without homestyle foods on the menu. So we loved having a Publix just across the street.

Please note this caveat - we are not upscale travelers. We did not realize the hotel required mandatory vallet parking and concierge services, which bit into our budget. Somehow, I missed these on the amenities list. We prefer to self-park and carry our own luggage to the room. We are also not into pricey gourmet menu offerings like Beef Tartare, Wagyu, Caviar, etc - so we ate elsewhere. Around 5 am, my husband turned the heater on to take the chill off of the room. I was awakened by acrid fumes in the air, which smelled like an electrical fire and scorched fish. It smelled toxic and dangerous. The window was sealed so we could not open it to air out the room. Even after turning off the heater, the air felt hot, thick, and toxic. I became nauseous. We quickly packed and left - we had no appetite for the free breakfast. We were concerned the smell was a fire and health hazard - so, we reported it. Staff said it was just due to a new heater? We have no desire to stay at another Hyatt Hotel.

Great Room size. The pool area is large and roof top bar The property has only been open 4 days before we arrived Quiet Location. A small shopping area across the street

A few things were still being worked on —- our phone didn’t work , our room was a long distance from the elevators, some doors did not close Only parking was valet that charged 25 a night. Or street parking
