The Rooms

The ensuite bedroom, the WC and the wash hand base tap , make huge noise sound when in use and when not in use at times. It is so frustrating. I message them and even ask if we are safe but no response.The beds were bad ,the TV remote not working as well . I message them about this too but no response. We were supposed to check out on Friday but we checked out on Thursday because my kids were not happy with the situation.

Stylish property- definitely recommend

A very modern and stylish property, very spacious and even desks which was an added bonus! Very beautiful property and we enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable beds and love the color of the place- gives it a very quirky style. The property has a dining table which is a great touch especially for families.

Hi, From Sunday (03/12/2023) till Tuesday (03/16/2023) we stayed with a group of 6 in the Parotia House in Staffordshire. We would like to request a refund because of following reasons: - At our arrival all of the dishes were dirty, we had to clean them all before we could use them. - No bath towels - No toilet paper available - The fire alarm beeped for 4 days while we couldn ‘t reach it. We immediately contacted the owner but didn’t get an answer. The next day (Monday) a lady arrived at our house to give us bath towels. - After 3 nights of little sleep due to the alarm, again we called twice for the problem! Only Wednesday evening they fixed it!! It had a big impact on our sleep and therefor on our school performances! - Not all of the heaters were working. The one in the bedroom downstairs, in the livingroom, in the bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs on the street side. - The support of the matress in the bedroom downstairs was broken on one side. Great stay, easy check in process and great communication from the host

Lovely property inside, great taste in decoration and style. Lovely comfy beds, and the front upper bedroom is actually an en-suite, which we did not initially realise!

Overall good, apart from the problem with the en-suite.

Generally nice property, clean and good facilities. Great central location within easy reach of many places.

Disappointed with the en-suite, could not use it as every time you flushed the toilet waste water would come up through the drain plug hole.

Very clean, but the stairs are very steep. But the Staff outdid themselves when we had a router issue.

The property was easy to find, incredibly clean. The bedding was crisp and the towels plentiful. The kitchen was well stocked. There was enough loo roll. Also, when we arrived we couldn’t log on, or get any TV. I filled in the online form and was amazed to get a response at 7pm. The problem solving went on all night, and by 10am the following morning a new router was delivered to our doorstep. Thank you Richard for going that extra mile.

The stairs were a bit of an issue, and for the three of us older people with older hips and knees, we had to be inventive when climbing and descending, but as there are toilets on both floors this was easily overcome.

Awful especially travelling with a baby. The strong raw sewage smell spoilt our stay!

The size and decor of the property

There was a very strong smell of raw sewage in the property. It was so bad we could not sleep and felt sick in the stomach. The rest of the property was not very clean particularly the en-suite and the main bathroom had evidence of damp/leak and light wires were exposed. Contrary to the booking information there was no complimentary tea/coffee/sugar or biscuits.
