The location is amazing literally close to everything you need while travelling ....

The stairs up to the room which you need to climb carrying your heavy bags

I might have missed it with the welcome messages but the door entry I didn’t realise you needed to press the keypad for the numbers to appear, being nit picky though.. it’s a great place

Very nice room …Tried self check in but not for me prefer some contact and breakfast

Good location nice double shower nicely decorated and very clean

Some noise at night because of location so near to 3 pubs.. settled down after 11pm. Steep stairs to room. Parking £9.80 for 12 hours had to return 11pm to get another ticket! (No 24hrs option)

Amazing, and so beautiful inside and out

Done up to a really high spec and was very comfortable

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like, maybe breakfast facilities would be nice but there is plenty of places around so wasn’t a major

Helpful staff, great location, cosy stay

Check in was really easy and simple - you get sent a code to get into the building and room which is really efficient. The room is nicely prepared ahead of your visit (heating had been put on, radio was on and some water in the fridge). We had some issues with our room (see below), but we text the staff and they got this resolved for us straight away, so can't fault them. In a really good central location. Ahead of the stay, the owners send you a lot of information of places they would recommend nearby which was a nice touch and helpful for our visit.

We were initially staying in Room 6 (family suite), but unfortunately not long after checking in we were disrupted by the guests staying above - the floorboards are clearly really sensitive so we could hear them walking around and lots of movement coming from the bed, this was obviously really offputting and if you are sensitive to noise, I wouldn't suggest staying in this room. Also, this wasn't a deal breaker for us, but the check out time is a bit early, especially when you are staying for leisure - I think 11am would be better than 10am, especially when you can't check in until 3pm the day before, but this is a minor thing. Would be ideal if there was parking on site, we did manage to park on a nearby car park which was fine, but we stayed off peak and I know this car park gets really busy in season, so just an FYI.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Bowness - perfect for a few days away!

Lovely location, really nice hotel for a few nights away. The room was modern and well furnished.

Could have been slightly clearer on check out instructions if anything, but had no issues with any of our stay!

We absolutely loved the location of the property. The facilities were clean and kept well..

The ONLY downside to this property was that the bathroom was so cold at times, it was uncomfortable to sit in

The property was in a fantastic location, close to reasonably priced parking. The room was lovely, very modern and comfortable. Can’t fault it.

The only issue we had was some very creaky floorboards from above, however that was the only issue with a fantastic stay.

Anniversary night away

The property is really central in bowness but hidden out the way which is nice. I like that its self serve entrance meaning checking into the room is easy. We booked room 12 which was stunning. So comfy and unique style. Car park literally a 2 minute walk away. Absolutely perfect thank you

Nothing wrong with the property we loved it. Hair and body wash was provided would be nice to have a complimentary bubble bath for the rooms which have them available as a little extra.

I think the website oversold the property,

Location to all the local activities

Lack of facilities. Being a couple of geriatric travelers, having to lift 30kg suitcases up four flights of stairs was not ideal. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay in town.

Perfect

Everything about this hotel was perfect, perfect room perfect facilities perfect location! The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of it in the morning, our hosts made us feel very welcome and recommended places for us to go and eat, The coffee and hot chocolate in the room was delicious! We will definitely be coming back next time we come to the lakes!

Excellent stay - We loved it!

Location was excellent, parking was close by and cost-effective - That was a pleasant surprise. Amenities were amazing - Not been to the Lakes for about 20 years. Totally enjoyable. Room was clean and well presented. We’d stay again for definite.

We’d probably choose a bigger room, that’s all, so nothing to dislike really.

Felt ripped off for the amount we were charged.

The location and the room decor.

It was far too small. Absolutely no room for two people to be able to shower and dress etc without being in each others way. The bathroom was really small and the whole floor was wet when the shower was used. There was no shelves or ledges to put a toiletry bag or toothbrush. No toilet roll holder so the that got wet. Very uncomfortable experience.

Stingy on the toilet paper and no tissues. Also no servicing of the room during stay. Hard to load/unload luggage as no parking on site.

Lovely room, very nice pub close by

Location was great, the room was incredibly clean and very nicely designed, tv with Netflix access was a nice unexpected touch. Very comfortable bed.

Close to other guests meant we could hear them whilst in our room - we travelled with a young baby which could have been an issue both ways but the noise didn’t last too late

A perfect location for a short break in the lakes!

Beautiful room in a perfect location meaning we were able to park up, walk to the hotel and enjoy every second of our short break. Everything is within walking distance in heart of Bowness. Room was incredibly well looked after, clean, comfortable with a stunning interior. We particularly loved the copper bath!
