Was a very good time and the house exceeded our expectations. Good location for north shore and the dole plantation. Would stay here again.

The condo was clean. Three bedrooms and one bath. Might be tight for 6 people. It’s a great base-walk to Shark’s cove, food land and food trucks. Close to road so you can hear traffic sometimes.

Great place close to everything we wanted. Really cool small towns around us. Great beach access. Beautiful weather.

Close to ocean beach. Clean. Quite neighborhood. We were mostly there at night to sleep and shower. We explored the island all day. Loved being close to the grocery and coffee stores.

We really loved this property; it was so relaxing, and having 3 bedrooms was great. The kitchen was huge, and the living room was comfortable. The location absolutely could not be beat since it was just a 10 minute walk from the beach, the grocery store, and a bunch of food trucks. Check-in was easy, the host was very responsive, and this was truly the relaxing beach stay that we had hoped for.

My Family of 6 adults loved this place!!! With 3 rooms you had privacy. They had everything you could need to enjoy your time at the beaches. Steve was very helpful when I had questions and needed help. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great vacation and lots of memories with my family.

It was within walking distance of multiple beaches and food. Foodland (the grocery store) is close, as well food, surfing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. We appreciated the closeness bringing our young nephew, he's 13 yrs old, because when he got tired.

This rental had everything we needed. It's not posh, just basic, but Steve has thought of everything. There are seven boogie boards of high quality. The location is phenomenal. We could walk to nearby beaches and drive to others. It was a short drive to The Polynesian Center and Turtle Bay Resort, where we went to a wedding. The place has comfortable couches for relaxing and the beds are good. Household items were what we needed. The place was very clean, which is most important to us. We would recommend this place. There were five of us and there is only one bathroom, but it worked out. We had a little trouble getting in the place when we first got there because the email he had been sent only had the address and the box that would give us the key codes didn't work. We called VRBO. Steve was in England, and was patched into the phone call. He was very solicitous and patient and gave us the combinations to everything verbally,(which I wrote down) even though it was 3:00 am in England. So, it all worked out. Even at that, I still give this a 5 star rating because it was a perfect place to stay to enjoy the north end of the island and the condo had everything we needed and Steve took care of us.

This place was in a perfect located we got to see & do so many things. We enjoyed the north shore area, the house was incredible I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay for our 10 year wedding anniversary and first time in Hawaii!

To start with the location is fantastic, just a short walk to Sharks Cove with great snorkeling, but also a nice walk to a number of beaches each of them unique and a number of local food trucks. Just a short drive to Haliewa a great town for all kinds of activities and restaurants. The house was perfect as well, with plenty of space for our family and everything you could possibly need. Was quiet and peaceful at night. Steve had great communication about anything we would need and had a ton of beach stuff to use if you needed, snorkel gear, surfboards etc. Thanks again for a great stay and great spot on the North Shore.

I have gone to Hawaii numerous times but have always stayed in Waikiki. This was my first north shore experience, and I couldn't have picked a better place! The kitchen is well stocked which was nice since my son likes to cook, having a grocery store within walking distance was also a plus. There was a minor issue with the coffee maker which I was able to fix but before I knew it, I had a brand-new coffee maker at my door. The host, Steve was very responsive to all my calls, even my silly questions. For example, we came in after dark and did not see the gate keypads to exit the property (located on a post and 1 under the deck) Steve immediately came over to point out where they were. This was another pro, the home is in a gated area so there is that safety factor. Walking distance to Sharks cove and uncrowded beaches. Short drive to Waimea Falls. I was so excited to be there I forgot about the notice that parking is outside the gate. Parking a little crowded but common throughout the island. Staying near the beach, it is expected that all homes are in close proximity. One of the bedroom's windows faces directly to a residential home and they always seemed to be outside, so I had to remember to keep the curtains closed. The sunsets were beautiful (not visible on opposite side of island). My only disappointment was that the picture of the yard is outdated, it is rundown with old outdoor furniture and the grill was too dirty to use.

Perfect location within short walking distance to great beaches, surfing, diving, snorkeling, and hiking. The house was super comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. The host, Steve, was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Thank you for a great trip!

Great location, great property, great manager! we absolutely loved our stay, and this property has it all. It was so nice to you have such an easy check in progress, no real bugs to speak of, clean, easy access. The only suggestion that I may have for the property owner is to tidy up the backyard and mow the lawn, get new lawn furniture, etc. vacation should also be where that the parking is sometimes an issue during the middle of the day but it’s really not that bad at all. In the evening and early morning, you can find a spot no problem. It was really nice to be able to walk to Food Land, Shark’s Cove, Pupukea Beach, and Three Tables. Loved this place.

Stayed for 4 nights with 3 adults and 3 school-aged kids and had a great stay. It's walking distance to shark's cove and several other beaches. The home was clean, comfortable, and had just about everything we needed. No central AC but there's a window unit in the main living area and high powered fans in each bedroom. Loved having access to the boogie boards and beach towels. Host was quick to respond to questions before our stay and thankfully we didn't have any issues that required us to reach out during out stay. Our only very minor complaints (if you can even call them complaints) was that we couldn't find a dustpan and broom to clean up and would've loved a tea kettle for our frequent tea drinkers.

We were looking for a centrally located rental on the North Shore to use as a home base to explore- this fit the bill! Nice comfortable accommodations for a family of four (kids 14&12). Super easy to walk over to Sharks Cove. Amazing snorkeling - we went every day we were there & saw so many cool fish, eels, and a small shark! Grocery store very convenient/can walk there, nice hiking nearby, and a bunch of different beaches all super close.
Explored Waimea Bay to jump off the rock, Laniakea beach to see the turtles and did great zip lining at CLIMB Works, Keana farms - highly recommend!
Like others have mentioned, the house is not ultra deluxe, but is clean, nice, affordable and works well. We had one small issue and Steve was super responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home.
It is super close to great snorkeling at Sharks Cove and all the sand and surf you could want at Pipeline and Waimea Bay.
Comfortable beds and a decent kitchen.
Steve the host was great and easy to communicate with. We asked about a water pitcher and the next morning he had one for us.
It’s a comfortable house, not grand but awesome for a relaxed stay on the North Shore.
Would stay here again.

We came here as a friends trip for a bunch of adults trying to get away from the cold weather and our kiddos for a week. The place is located confidently right next to some awesome spots on the island. Snorkeling was a 2 min walk, beach was a 2 min walk, and the grocery store was another short distance. The location of this place was absolutely fantastic. The house also provided all of the gear had we not brought it for the trip.
The property itself was fantastic while we didn’t spend much time there it was just what we needed. The water was nice and hot and we even were able to wash some clothes throughout the week. It was spacious enough for the three couples to escape to private rooms and a large sized kitchen where we could enjoy meals and hangout together. The owner was super responsive and communicated well.
Overall we really enjoyed ourselves here and we are so glad we booked with Steve. We have been to the island almost ten times and this was by far one of our favorite areas to have stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property. Close to all the north shore action.

We loved being so close to grocery shopping, sharks cove which is amazing snorkeling. We were also very close to the surfing town Halewea we were able to go watch surfing competitions so fun! We went to dinner in Halewea. The property we stayed at had no hot water and we were unable to talk with anyone about it. The person running the property never communicated with us ever the entire stay. Besides craving a hot shower we enjoyed the stay.

Walking distance to beach and centrally located for quick trips to the store, food trucks, etc. Very comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen! Would definitely recommend. All of the furniture had been upgraded from the photos…we were pleasantly surprised!

Location!
We traveled to the North Shore after spending 3 days in Waikiki. The North Shore was the Hawaii I wanted! The house was steps to the best snorkeling! No need to fight for parking and no sand in our sandwiches, we just walked home for lunch! We traveled with two teens and a tween and the space worked well for us. We would all have loved a few more days in this spot!

Walk to Shark's Cove!
Incredible location, 2 minute walk from Shark's Cove. Without overexaggerating, it's the best diving and snorkelling on the island. Would highly recommend for that reason alone.

Perfect beach house for family trip.
Steve’s place is spacious, clean, well stocked and very convenient located. Everyone appreciated how close the beaches are, about five minute walk to two very different beaches. We could walk to food trucks and groceries in this very beautiful neighborhood. It was much more relaxing than our time in Waikiki. The outdoor shower is great for preventing sand in the house. We would absolutely stay here again when we return to Oahu.

Cancelled on me the night before and didn't even say sorry!
I booked this property 6 months in advance of Easter weekend when I was going to be on island for an important wedding. I had multiple communications with Steve throughout the booking process and then the night before our stay at 7pm he cancelled without so much as an apology supposedly due to a "double booking". I get that things happen, but at least say sorry or offer to help. Don't book here if you don't want your vacation ruined last minute.

Not enough time
We had a great time in the North Shore! Steve was great to communicate with, was quick to reply and super helpful! This house was super close the world famous Pipeline beach, which was beautiful. The house was just as expected. Leave the fans on and the drapes closed during the day and the window AC, we were comfortable. We never had a problem finding parking right out front of the house on the street. This really was a convenient great location. We just wished we would have skipped Waikiki and stayed here for a full trip!

Exactly what you’re looking for on the North Shore
The little town of Pupukea is what Hawaii is all about. Surfing, snorkelling, swimming, chill vibes and chickens! This is the best spot on the North Shore and Steve’s place was perfect for our family of 4 adults. 3 bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds. Walk in less than 5 min to: Sharks Cove (snorkle) , 3 Tables Beach (swim), and Keihi Beach (surf). In just over 5 min you can walk to and watch the surfers at the infamous Sunset Beach (Banzai pipeline). In just over a 5 minute drive you are at Waimea Beach park with access to a great beach and an amazing hike into the rainforest. Steve is a super responsive host. The unit was very clean and well appointed (especially appreciated beach towels and blankets). A fair disclosure: you are just off the main highway and you will hear road noise (but this is true of any ocean access property on this part of the island) And those chickens (roosters) I mentioned? They are early risers snd they will let you know about it! (Part of the charm-you are actually up “country”) Our family would def stay again.

Haleiwa is cool.
We stayed for 9 days. The house isn’t fancy but it’s clean. When we arrived it was very hot inside but there is a window air conditioner and we turned it and All the fans in the room on. Washer and dryer is outside. When we communicated with the company they did have a quick reply. There were surfboards and boogie boards in the shed but only 1 beach chair.-that was a bit frustrating but we just dealt with it. No beach views from the house but we didn’t expect that. The beach is just a short walk down the street. There is a bike path right across the street which was nice for morning walks to the banzai pipeline. Electrical outlets are old and loose so just be aware. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I mean we were in Hawaii!!

Clean property in great neighborhood
Our stay was great and the property was clean, but don't expect anything fancy. The towel bar in the bathroom and the living room table were rickety, so we were afraid to use them. The description said there would be beach chairs, but there was only one and it was so old we didn't bother. The water was exceptionally hot and we couldn't figure out how to make it cooler, so used the cold shower outside. The manager said not to pull the ceiling fan light cords and our light was on so we couldn't sleep with the fan on, although there was an extra fan in every room. All in all, a clean house in a great location but don't expect any extras or special treatments that you might find in other rentals.

Location is key
We wanted to spend time on the north shore exclusively and ride our bikes up and down the trail to the surf beaches. This was a perfect spot in which to be based.

Excellent location/comfy house/bad neighbors
You can't really get much closer to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, than at this property. Ke Iki beach access is literally a block away in one direction, and Sharks Cove not much further in the other direction. Foodland grocery store is in walking distance (some of the best Poke on the island there). The house itself was nice and comfy, though nothing fancy. We had a minor problem figuring out how to operate the ceiling fans/lights, but Steve responded to my message quickly. Turns out they are all controlled with remotes, and we could only locate one remote (out of presumably 5 in the house), though we made due with the provided floor-standing lamps and fans. Pro tip for this property: When you leave for the day, close the drapes in the two bedrooms on the West side of the house, leave the bedroom doors open, and turn on the window A/C unit in the living room. Otherwise, you may come home to a very uncomfortably hot house, as those two bedrooms have full sun exposure in the afternoon.
At the time of writing this, the "extras" included were: Pack N Play for your toddler (avoid unless you have a cover for the gross stained pad), 2 long boards/SUPs (looked about what you'd get from a rental shop, though if they were SUPs, I didn't see paddles), two bikes (one was very rusty--yay salty air!--and the other had tires that were going flat), and a collection of snorkel gear. I think I saw some body boards and a short board in the patio area, but didn't really check them out. The good thing is that if these items are not up to snuff for you, there are plenty of rentals near by.
To the bad neighbor situation: unfortunately on our last full day at this property, the construction zone next door became occupied by a truck-sized drilling machine, and a crew of workers not much more than five feet away from the side of the house. It got very loud, making having a lazy morning around the house not possible. The following night, someone on that property thought doing construction through the night was the correct thing to do, and I woke at 3 am to hammering. I doubt Steve has any control over this neighboring property, so its a bummer that he and his guests at this property have to be next door to this construction. I'm not sure if a house is being built here, but if so, the construction will probably be going on for many months.
All in all, minus the construction, I would stay here again.

Nice Area in Hawaii
This home is located in Pupukea, which is a nice location close to North Shore. It is only a couple blocks away from the beach and a grocery store. It is about 45 minutes from the airport. Parking is on the street, but we were always able to find a spot. The house is a duplex, but we never heard the shared neighbor. You can hear the busy street and the next door neighbor had major construction starting early in the morning. It was nice having a shower on the patio to rinse off. There was a washer and dryer outside next to the shower, but the dryer did not work. The kitchen was sufficient with a fridge and microwave. There were rusted bikes, surfboards, and a few boogie boards that had broken leashes. The house was clean and my family felt safe. Most issues were tended to before we left.

Great location!
Hands down one of the best rental experiences ever! We enjoyed being a few minutes walking distance to Sharks Cove and Pupukea beach. Our host, Steve, responded very quickly to all our questions and needs to ensure we had the best stay possible. We would definitely recommend staying here to all our friends and family, and look forward to staying here again in the near future.
