House was beautiful, clean, had everything you need. We did have to reset the furnace as heat was not on however it might have been first time house was used this season. Reached out to Vacasa and they responded immediately. Will continue to use Vacasa and would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Falmouth Maine.

Beautiful location and view. Charming house. Had everything we needed in it.

Location of this home was on delightful Castco Bay. It was close to Portland with easy access to all of mid-coast Maine. Layout of house was nice providing private units on both sides of house. One bath/shower on 2nd floor was a little tricky to use.
All in all, very enjoyable!

We had a nice safe stay at a classic home ocean side Maine. The kitchen was small with plenty of serving pieces and silverware. Plenty of fans but could use AC. It gets stuffy. The bathrooms were clean and linens fresh. A large home with some cobwebs and dirty sills. Thank you for opening you home to us

We have stayed in many VRBO properties, always left good reviews, and always received positive feedback as guests. However based on our experience with this company, Vacasa of Maine, we cannot recommend this company or by extension this property. The house itself was ok-some issues could be overlooked like the steep stairs in the older part of the house that border on dangerous, the tub in the same section that is barely child-sized, and the older windows that don't have screens, but our experience with Vacasa was awful. The dryer at the property wasn't working when we arrived, not a huge deal in itself. But whoever responds to texts promised to send someone to look at it; no one ever came or contacted us. When we asked for an explanation via email and text we received several weeks of silence or 'we'll look into it'; at no time was follow up initiated by the company. There appear to be 3 levels of management-Vacasa of Maine, a 'local operations manager', and a 'local agent', and they seem happy to pass the buck around until you give up. We eventually received a token refund of $87, which is 2% of the total rental cost of $4300. So in summary, both customer service and follow-up were either lacking or nonexistent, so be warned. Thanks for reading.

Loved the location, the view and the privacy; even the setup of the house...having our own bedrooms and baths. However, this home would not pass the white glove test. We were dusting our headboards, cleaning the microwave (previous tenants had butter exploded on the inside, numerous dead bugs in the windows, etc.). And sadly, we were not left any paper towels for cleaning. Underneath the beds was also a non-white-glove area. Additionally, the advertisement for this property did not mention that a private driveway (road) went right through the back yard so the doggie could not run free out back (which defeated the purpose). Still taking cold showers as a previous tenant stated and only after one previous shower.
Now if you can get past that, and we did, it's lovely. I would just make sure things are tidier next time and plan on the backyard not being as private as it looks.

The pictures posted on VRBO do not convey what a beautiful lot the property has. There is a very spacious backyard. We lit a fire in the outside fire pit each night overlooking the bay. Wood is provided and there are stairs to a small beach area. The Management company was quick to respond and gracious. Falmouth is a just short drive to Portland.

Great place. Great location.
Only two complaints:
1) ants
2) not big enough hot water heater for the size and anticipated number of guests for such a large place. Hot water ran out quickly afte 1-2 showers.
