The Nook is a newly renovated, single family home in downtown Parkville. The Nook offers a spacious floor plan, 2 private decks, and a large backyard. It is the perfect place for a couples get away or family vacation.

We offer high speed internet, a full kitchen, washer and dryer and a fire pit! The TV is equipped with an Amazon fire-stick.

We love hosting and offering the perfect get away location! Parkville is the best small town with all of the big city amenities! The Nook is 15 minutes from the Kansas City Airport and just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City.

The "Parkville Nook" is such a relaxing home, in a wonderful location. It is nicely appointed with plenty of towels and linens. The area was quiet, and the yard, creek and nearby trees were great! The communication from the host was outstanding! Heather was very timely in providing information. We had a nice time, and definitely plan to return!

This cute house is a gem! It’s at the end of a quiet street backing up to a wooded area. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very clean and nicely decorated and was perfect for our stay.

We would highly recommend this property. The host is very kinds, responsive and accommodating. It is a lovely, renovated house in a quiet neighborhood that is comfortable and near the cute town of Parkville. We loved our stay!!

We loved the place and our stay overall. The only negative was that the floors were very dirty. The bottoms of our feet were completely black after just walking through the house.

What a wonderful getaway and weekend retreat! This is only a couple of blocks from Parkville’s quaint Main Street. Great boutiques and restaurants! By far my favorite part of the trip was the walk along the river and through the City Park!! Breath taking sunrise and great walking paths. We live in the KC area, but this place is perfect for a staycation. The house is so wonderful. Made an amazing breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The fire pit was filled with wood and ready to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing this gem!!

Simply furnished, restful and very comfortable place! Really nice kitchen area with a big counter ; great if you cook. One of the more comfortable beds I've come across too! Love the little babbling brook in the back yard; it was fun to watch the birds enjoying it. Really nice spot. One note: it's all wood floors, so if you have a dog, bring a couple blankets and a bed for them to lay on.

5 of us stayed here for two nights. We were very comfortable. Didn’t need anything since the house already had everything we needed, nevertheless, Heather still checked in to make sure we had everything. Such a cute place!

We stayed at the Parkville Nook with our family of 5 while visiting friends in Parkville. The house is very spacious, seems recently renovated, the beds are really comfortable memory foam mattresses, and there is a very private deck facing woodlands. Parkville downtown and the parks along the Missouri river are less than 15 minutes on foot (great place to go running in the morning). We really enjoyed our stay there!

My family and I went to Kansas City for the NFL draft and we all absolutely loved the house!!! It was clean and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful scenery and a cute little creek right next to the house. My kids loved the yard! Would definitely recommend!!!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the Parkville Nook for a weekend visiting friends. The house is at the end of a dead end road with a peaceful creek, which is ideal for my light sleeper husband. Anything you may need was there in this very updated home. We especially loved the rain shower with the extra handle to control water pressure! We did not need anything during our stay but the host Heather was very easy to get in contact with and seemed more than willing to help if we did not anything. Super close to downtown Parkville where were found great shops and restaurants. Recommend the Stone Canyon Pizza for a meal and my daughter loved the salt water taffy from Old Town Sweets. Overall we would recommend and would come back and stay at the Parkville Nook!

Cozy, modern farmhouse style with open floor plan! The backyard creek was fun for our kids to have leaf races in, and sounded so relaxing. The ac works really well- which was great since we didnt realize how humid and hot it would be! I highly recommend the stone pizza place in downtown parkville- chicken bbq was our favorite! Heather was a prompt hostess and had everything we needed ready to go. She was very communicative and helpful. I would love to return again for a vacation.

Our stay couldn't have been more comfortable and pleasant! Heather is an excellent host! We stay at a lot of VRBOs, and this was one of the cleanest and most comfortable ones we've run across. Will definitely come again!

Loved our stay at this property! So happy we were able to bring our dogs! The check in process was simple and communication with the host was open and responsive. We give it 5 stars! Only one critique was that there wasn’t a hairdryer, but we lived! Would stay there again!

Had a great weekend getaway with my fiancé and a couple we know! Nothing better then this right here, and Frank’s of Parkville is right down the road if you want some good Italian food! it is the perfect spot between Kansas and Missouri

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. We came in town for the AFC Championship. The location was great. The place was very clean and exactly as described and pictured. The creek was a bonus. Watched the fish swim under the ice. Communication was top notch, everything about the rental was. Thanks again, and GO CHIEFS!

Was a surprise trip to KC for my wife’s birthday. She doesn’t like leaving dogs at home and before booking I got the pups approved through ownership and everything was smooth sailing. Communication was excellent absolutely no issues whatsoever. No complaints. Had a wonderful experience and when we go back to Kansas City in the future we will be looking to stay here as a first option!

We had a wonderful time at this property over a 4-day weekend. All the amenities were as described. Very comfortable, and this was a cute, quiet area and neighborhood. We found the parking convenient and it was not a far drive from anywhere in the KC area. Would certainly visit this property again!
