Super comfortable

Lots of space and it was well stocked with any type of cooking utensil you'd need. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely use vacasa again.

Great location and lodgings for skiing.

To start with the great things: This home is absolutely beautiful & the location is great– close to the mountain & on shuttle route. It was the perfect place for our winter family gathering. The home was clean and the hot tub was great. The reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of a few technical issues, mainly regarding the doors + alarm system. The door pin they gave us didn't work, so I had to walk through the snow to get the backup key. Once inside the house, the alarm system chimed a triple beep about once a minute for the majority of our stay (definitely was not pleasant, especially in the middle of the night). In addition, one of the exterior doors wouldn't latch shut and the wind kept blowing it open (not ideal for a winter stay). When we tried to have someone take a look at it, they said it couldn't be fixed right away so we had to keep a chair in front of the door to keep it shut. In the grand scheme of things, no one of these issues was a huge deal, but together they detracted from the experience of our stay. As previously mentioned, still a beautiful house and if these issues could be resolved, would recommend staying there.

My friends and I had a great time at Snow Lion! We stayed 4 days/3 nights and enjoyed every minute. Minor complaint related to the door codes…none of the ones provided worked. Luckily we were able to get in bc another side door had been left unlocked and we stayed at the cabin the whole time so never had to worry about relocking with the new codes given. Vacasa customer service was great and responsive and provided two new codes but they still did not work.

House had a fantastic layout with all the amenities you could ask for. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy all the area has to offer. Went golfing at Sugarloaf and the location was ideal.

We had a great stay — the house was very comfortable and the shuttle to the mountain was so convenient. Beds were very comfortable and pots, pans, towels, etc. well stocked. The hot tub was great and kids enjoyed the game room and movie room downstairs. Only thing that would have made it better is if we could have users wood in the fireplace/if there was a wood stove.

Great location. Easy to get to the golf course and restaurants.
Needs a grill though

Very nice property. Plenty of space for a large group, awesome theatre set up and hot tub. Be aware that there is no grill on the property.

This is a beautiful house with large timbers built into the construction of it for the wood and architecture enthusiasts. Stayed during the fall for a wedding at the Sugarloaf Inn, only 1 mile away. The 5 bedrooms fit our group of 10 perfectly. The game room, hot tub, and theater kept us all entertained. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. Large living room and kitchen/dining areas. Plenty of towels supplied in all areas. Would highly recommend.

Our biggest problem with this property is that it was falsely advertised. The VRBO listing indicated that it had AC but it did not... not even a window unit, fan, or anything. We booked this property for July 4th weekend with temperatures in the 80-90 range. We were traveling with small children and older grandparents who needed AC for health reasons, so this was a disaster. Attempting to reach and communicate with Vacasa took an entire day of our vacation (waiting on hold and being bounced from person to person, most of whom had no answers). 2 days into our trip we were finally informed that the location does not have AC, the listing was wrong, there were no other locations available, and we would only be reimbursed $25/day for this inconvenience and false advertisement. The property manager and maintenance folks were kind enough to bring fans to us during our stay, but Vacasa and VRBO were absolutely despicable in how they handled this situation. We actually checked out a day early (which also was not compensated for) due to inability to tolerate daytime temps in the home. Buyer beware. After investigation we found that this property has been rented for years, yet there were no reviews available on VRBO.
In terms of the actual property there are pros and cons:
Pros: location, beauty, cleanliness, plenty of towels and linens, amazing hot tub, very kind and responsive property managers.
Cons: no AC, no real yard for kids to play in (grass would be nice), very unstable wifi (sound/video on TVs was constantly interrupted; this made watching movies in theater room impossible), only 1 small roll of paper towels provided, ice maker did not function, real wood not allowed in fireplace, pots/pans were dirty, no TVs in bedrooms or living room, ambient heating in lower level took 12 hours to warm up (owners should turn on lower level heat 12 hrs prior to check-in. It was literally freezing for the first day),
