Very nice cabin in a good location. My only complaints are that you need to upgrade the pots and pans , they are scratched and old, and provide more towels.
8.0 / 10.0
The cabin was very nice and was able to accommodate 7 adults, 3 small children and 2 dogs. The pictures make the living and dinning space look slightly larger than they actually are but the two full bathrooms were nice to have. All the rooms were clean and the cabin smelled very nice when we arrived.
I only wish we would have had more kitchen towels and trash bags provided. We stayed for 3 nights and ran out of trash bags on day 1. The only negative was that wifi was listed as included however we were never able to use it for even just a single phone. Under standing that the area is very hilly and the cabin is tree covered so wifi may be hard to come by, it should just not be listed as a perk for this rental. Not having the wifi didn’t hinder our stay and most everyone had good LTE or 5G service for their phones.

The property was just as described in the pictures and had that knotty pine cabin smell that I love! It was well maintained.

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous inside and outside. It had everything we needed for our stay. 5 women stayed for 4 nights and we were absolutely comfortable and relaxed with the hot tub and fire pit. It was close enough to town for groceries and fun, while still feeling secluded in the woods. Its close enough to hiking at the fun hocking hills state parks. This cabin really made our trip special. Would love to stay here again.

Our group (7 adults and 3 dogs) had a great time at Bear Crossing. The property is even nicer in person than the photos suggest. All the listed amenities were accurate, except the laundry, which seemed new and didn't require coins as stated. Very private and secluded, but just a short drive from 'downtown' Logan and the state parks. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

We had a bachelorette party here and the cabin was perfect for it! There is plenty of space for up to 10 guests. It’s located within driving distance of the areas major attractions but not so close that it feels overcrowded. There’s a lot of great amenities, a large table, full kitchen, a hot tub, deck, and fire pit. The AC broke on our first night and the host was very responsive and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Maintenance even brought over window units to help cool the cabin down while we waited for the HVAC guy! Definitely will come back here for a future gathering with friends!

Our family had a great time at cabin. The wooded setting, wood fireplace, the nice hot tub made our stay wonderful. Very clean cabin, comfortable beds.

Enjoyable stay- has four bedrooms and 2 baths. Beds were a little uncomfortable otherwise it was great.
4.0 / 10.0
The location of the property was nice because it’s not too far from the main roads/city at all yet still quiet and peaceful. The cabin was updated and the hot tub had a very nice view. However, the cleaning of the cabin, internet service provided and lack of communication from the host was terrible. Check in was easy as the key is left in a lockbox and they give you the code before arrival. Upon entering the cabin, the amount of dust surrounding the entire place was astounding considering the cleaning lady was leaving when we arrived. The dishes provided were not useable as they were covered in rust and just straight up unclean. I don’t feel that as a guest paying over $1200 for a 2 night stay I should have to drive 5 hours to this cabin and scrub all of the dishes before being able to prepare dinner for my family. The coffee cups hanging were full of rust inside the cup and the edges, again, not safe to use. The soap dispensers in the kitchen and the bathroom are also full of rust. Above the fireplace is covered in dust and hasn’t been done in ages. When walking up the staircase there was a giant cobweb on the beam that clearly has been there for months and that’s really gross. The hanging lamps over the island in the kitchen are full of dust which then falls into food on the counter. I feel like it’s unacceptable to list a property and take peoples money for a cleaning fee and then give them keys to a dirty cabin. Although they will tell you that you are not charged a cleaning fee because they list it as “additional charges” in your breakdown. Dusting is pretty basic for a contracted cleaning company. The shower upstairs was not cleaned which is disgusting to have to shower after a stranger. There wasn’t a regular cleaning solution anywhere accessible in the home to clean the dirty items ourselves. Do not count on the internet working as it’s just a regular cellular hotspot. We weren’t able to reach out to the hosts because of the cell service until after our stay and return home. After contacting them, they stated they have never received a complaint before which I find odd considering they have another large review on the same issues we experienced. They immediately stopped responding when we asked them to make this right. They also charge a damage fee that is not returned to you after your departure and their cabin is inspected by them even if there were absolutely no damages made.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a nice size to accommodate ourselves and children’s families. Loved the wrap around porch and hot tub. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! The only thing I found missing was an iron and ironing board.
10.0 / 10.0
Check in/out very easy! Cabin was beautiful! Only half roll of toilet paper in entire cabin. When it is dark outside it is extremely dark, porch lights only light porch which was a little scary to take my dogs out when I hear coyotes howling and can’t see anything.
4.0 / 10.0
The cabin is lovely however it lacked so much. There was no propane tank, however the grill was filthy and probably not safe to use anyway. no broiler pan, and many of the essential tools for the kitchen were missing. The refrigerator door handle was broken and the stovetop glass was chipped and cracked. the toilets blew up when flushed and sometimes refused to flush at all. Screens were missing so we could not open some windows. It was not clean, it was dusty and very Sandy inside the house. The hot tub would not go above 98 degrees and one set of jets did not work at all. It was also full of sand and we did not feel safe using it. It was like renting a model home it was pretty but since there was absolutely nothing in the house to make it comfortable it was not a pleasant experience. In the past everyone in our group have rented many properties, those contained enough of the necessary essential items to make it a comfortable place to stay. With this beautiful cabin you get exactly what you see in the photos no more . Plan to bring everything that you may possibly need for your stay at this property

Very nice cabin with lots of room
This property offers a very nice place to stay and the location is excellent relative to the area attractions. The cabin sits on a nice secluded spot with a very good fire pit. Porch area is big with lots of seating and is very relaxing.

Wonderful Family Vacation in the Woods
The log home was so new, clean, and surrounded by forest in Hocking Hills. The 4 bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub, made s’mores on the fire pit, and the large new gas grill was also very convenient. The house was secluded yet close to Lake Logan, Rock House, and other Hocking Hills activities. We highly recommend Bear Crossing!

What a beautiful and pleasant house to stay in
This was a family getaway that was originally planned for great wolf lodge. Things kept getting rescheduled so family wanted to go to hocking hills. I found this listing and everyone loved it so much I’ll be booking again for next year! All the grandkids from 8 to 16 loved it which says a lot! Thanks Bear Crossing!

March stay
Property was beautiful! Beds are less than comfortable, thought maybe it was just me but both other couples had a hard time sleeping to the point one had to get up and sleep on the couch. Other than that it was beautiful and peaceful.
