Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views of Mount Hood were incredible. The home is nicely appointed and the property manager provided clear instructions. The TVs are all Roku so have your streaming app passwords ready to go. The hot tub was a big hit with our teenagers. The house is located an hour outside of Portland, 25 minutes south of Gov Camp. We recommend kayaking on Trillium lake, visiting Timberline, and exploring the numerous hiking trails. Zig Zag Falls is a favorite. You will be delighted with this home - it is open, spacious and sunny, gorgeous views, plenty of towels and bath/kitchen accessories (soaps, detergents, etc.) for our week stay.

The Mountain View retreat certainly lives up to its name and provides a perfect landing spot after a day of adventure or a wonderful secluded getaway for a time of rest and relaxation. It fits a lot of people, offers ample activities, and is clean and with homey comfort.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Mountain View Retreat! The property is beautifully landscaped and very serene. We loved strolling around the property on our rest days from hiking. The cabin itself is spacious and clean, with gorgeous views of Mt. Hood. The itrip hosts were quick to respond to and address any issues we had with the cabin. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely friends weekend at Mountain View and really used the whole property to be in nature, lounging and movement practices on the grassy areas, walking through the forest, cold plunges in the creek that runs just off the driveway. Frogs in the ponds on a June night were very special. We made some lovely music and did some music recording in the house. Great meals together, good kitchen and good space on the deck and at the table to eat and relax together. Sauna downstairs is great! Quiet private location was healing and relaxing for our sweet group.
Finally, great views, Mt. Hood, beautiful trees, nature surrounding, comfortable house for all.

We very much enjoyed the ability to spend a girls weekend away from our normal schedules and have room to relax, a beautiful view to enjoy, and a comfortable home, with great amenities, to give us the opportunity to connect with long time friends.

Great place for a big family and plenty of space. I will definitely come back again. The house may need so replacement lights throughout the house, extra towels and the front lock is sticking while trying to open it. It was little things and nothing major at all.

The place inside was very clean and instructions for everything very clear. The trip went smoothly from start to finish and everyone had a great time! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family for big groups. The furniture was also very nice and modern!

This house was phenomenal! Our family and our son’s coaches family stayed at the house and it was big enough for everyone! The house was spotless, had toys for all ages, and was close enough to Timberline Lodge for summer training and also close enough to Portland for day outings. It’s a great place to unwind and watch the sunrise and sunset over Mt Hood. We can’t say enough good things about this home and property.

The house and grounds are very peaceful. Enjoyed listening to the frogs at night. Drinking coffee on the deck and taking in the views of the mountain. Beds were comfortable. Most everything uou needed was in the kitchen. A few thing missing here and there. Didn't have any bath mats for the showers. Over all give it a 5 star. Would surely stay again.

Had a fun two night stay with friends! We enjoyed the privacy of the 20 acres, the Mt. Hood views from the living room and kitchen and utilizing the grill and kitchen for some home cooked meals. Sleeping arrangements were perfect, as we all had our own beds.

We came with my family and my brothers family, 4 adults and 5 kids. We had a blast!! The place was a great size and on a peaceful lot. We never saw or heard a neighbor, person, etc. Sitting on the deck after putting the kids to bed, watching the sunset, was a must every evening! Beautiful views of Mt. Hood. We will definitely be renting again and coming back every year!

Incredible property - great stay
As others mentioned the house is a bit dated but the accommodations, location, and views were amazing! There is plenty of room and the supplies were well stocked to make meals at home with a quick trip to the grocery. Great views of Mount Hood and beautiful property. A/C for summer guest. Great host and a very nice stay / property.

Great house, a few issues
We loved the house and took advantage of the hot tub, sauna, and air hockey. A few minor issues should have been communicated prior so we were better prepared. The refrigerator ice maker doesn't work, the fireplace was out of service and no extra towels. The kitchen was well stocked with higher end appliances and utensils, cooking pans, etc. and plenty of dishes for a big family, but no dishwasher detergent so had to wash everything by hand. In the end, the view of Mt. Hood from the deck was absolutely gorgeous and the minor inconveniences were worth it.

Stayed here for a long weekend with our family from out of town and had the best time! The house has plenty to do even when the weather isn’t the best. Close to hikes, wineries and restaurants. Plenty of room for all of us. Already thinking of when we can go back!

Mt Hood, Hiking, Lost Lake: 60th Birthday Celebration
Great location for family celebration of “dad’s” birthday with adult children and spouses/partners. Enjoyed all the amenities - sauna, hot tub, pond, nearby hikes, excursion to Lost Lake & ESPN to watch regional softball championships. Great get-a-way for family and friends with our 10 person group. Stunning views from property. Very relaxing. Thank-you.

What a wonderful weekend retreat in total privacy on this beautiful property. The weather didn't exactly cooperate (lots of hail!) but we didn't mind at all. We just stayed indoors and enjoyed living like royalty. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Property and Well-Maintained
This is a fantastic house, well appointed, well maintained, extremely clean, and modern inside. Highly recommend it. The only downside is that given it's location, it has limited mobile phone reception and the Internet access is via satellite, which makes it a challenge to 'work remotely' on a computer for Zoom calls, etc. because the speeds and connection are just not sufficient. That being said, it's still a great property and there is a Cafe located just a short distance away that provide excellent WiFi/Internet speeds. Hot Tub and Sauna are fantastic!

Secluded Mountain Retreat _ Splendid!
This place is huge, totally secluded and really magical with majestic views and the best hot tub vista imaginable. House was very warm and comfortable. Constructive feedback- there is seemingly no "house manual" so it was very difficult to figure out internet and to know what to do at check out. Also- lid to hot tub doesn't seem to be fitted right so that it can be lifted off easily.

Book it!
You won't be disappointed with this stunning Rhododendron chalet. Plenty of space for family & friends, remote location amongst beautiful trees, hot tub/sauna are a real treat. Close to the ski resorts we'll definitely be going back!
