With a modern and fresh interior, you enter through into a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space. In the living area there is a comfortable seating area with flat screen television and coffee table, an ideal space for relaxing after a day of exploring the local area.
The kitchen is very well equipped, offering full oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a breakfast bar with stools, great for socialising whilst dinner is cooking!
The smart dining table and chairs provide space to dine for four, and are accompanied by a chic blue dresser, a beautiful feature, and a real focal point for the room.
Beyond the living space are doors that lead directly out onto the canal-side garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee as the narrow-boats go by.
The bedrooms are generously sized and beautifully dressed, with the master offering a double bed and the second offering two full size singles. The family size bathroom includes a bath with shower over, large basin and close-coupled WC.
There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer provided for use if needed, and there is one allocated private car parking space available.
With the town of Skipton being only a short level walk away, plenty of facilities are available close by. There you will find shops, tea-rooms, pubs and more, including the opportunity to visit Skipton Castle dating from mediaeval times, and a stroll through Aireville Park, a beautifully kept public garden.
Skipton Golf Club is only 2 miles away, just on the other side of town, and in under a 10 minute drive is the heritage attraction of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

We loved the location over looking the canal with a direct access onto the canal towpath, Drinks in the garden with boats and people passing.
The view of the canal is obscured by the bushes and foliage in front of the fence. This needs to be maintained at fence level for best views.

From start to finish, the hosts have been amazing, very responsive. Clear guidelines around location and utilities. The property itself could not be in a better place, looking out onto the Leeds/Liverpool canal and a short walk into Skipton Town centre. Upon arrival, which was late due to a delayed flight. A lovely welcome pack and the added bonus of a Christmas Tree, was a very nice surprise. Number 7 is spotless. Everything is where the hosts said it would be. It is a lovely property. I will definitely be returning and compared to other properties I have stayed in, Number 7 stands way ahead in every category.

The property is located immediately next to the tow path of the Leeds Liverpool canal and around 3ǚ mile from Skipton centre, which was an absolutely ideal location for our leisure break. There are several walks in easy reach, and the train station is just a 10 minute walk away to travel a little further afield should you wish. The accommodation had everything we required and secure parking.
Struggling to find anything to criticise about the property.

This was a beautiful quiet apartment, very comfortable and extremely well kitted out. It was perfect for us. We walked along the tow path to Skipton but there are two buses that stop nearby. Lovely to watch the narrow boats passing by!

Lovely location and really appreciated being able to walk along the canal into Skipton. Thoughtful equipment provided meant that cooking for a family was easy. Even shopping bags were provided. Fortunately we took our own slippers (no outdoor shoe rule in the house) as there were none provided - this didn't inconvenience us at all but it may be something to note for anyone relying on there being some provided as stated in the description.
We really enjoyed our stay - there's so much to do and see close by, not just the castle (highly recommended). Hire of a narrow boat was also a highlight.
For those of us with a previous back injury the double bed was too soft & the garage parking space navigation was tricky with a roof box (we have a tallish car) but other than that everything was delightful - tasteful decoration, plenty of cleaning equipment, teabags etc. & a helpful welcome pack for places to eat etc. Also neighbours encountered were very friendly (good when you arrive in teeming rain and need to work out how to get into the garage).
All in all, a great place to stay.

beautiful property! very well maintained, excellent facilities, wish we could have stayed here longer!
the property itself was excellent! it was a bit of a walk into town with kids along a very wet muddy path along the canal - next time we come to Skipton we will hire a car. but the property itself we can’t fault! loved our stay.

Wonderful efficient heating system. Reserved parking space. Access to the canal path and walk into Skipton.
A new, more stable toilet seat. Clean the extractor fan.

Beautiful and very peaceful location with barges passing frequently on canal.
Key collection instructions should have given information to reach canalside via small pedestrian gate to side of property.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Had a happy time. Thank you.
Lovely and quiet beside canal. Easy walk into town of Skipton. Good location to explore surrounding areas.
Tricky to follow access instructions but kind neighbour helped us!

This one level apartment is very new, kitchen well equipped and a great location on the canal.
The initial collection of keys was not as easy as expected. But once we found the door from the gated car park to the apartments and the lift to the canal level the rest of our stay was ok.

Generally very good, but change that bed for a bigger firmer one.
We were very impressed with the apartment in terms of facilities including laundry, good crockery and cutlery (except there are NO decent knives) and other bits and pieces.
Get rid of that soft double bed and put in a decent king-sized bed. I had to sleep with my young son in one of the other beds. Need more drawers as well in both rooms. And please supply some sharp knives.

Quiet canal side apartment
Excellent location for Skipton (a walk along the tow-path) and the Dales. Quiet area with secure parking. The apartment was very well equipped with everything and more that you might need!
We had booked a cot and high chair which was not in the apartment on arrival, but after contacting Finestretreats, the owner promptly delivered them from the store within an hour. This could have been an issue if our arrival date was during a bank holiday.
