About this house rental
The property will still have everything you need to work or relax year round. For the balance of 2024 this is a four bedroom home with two full bathrooms, although the ensuite master bath is on the small side. A very spacious gourmet kitchen, high speed internet and a dining room for 6 or as a temporary office work area. The backyard highlights magnificent views of Peavine Mountain range. Stepping out of all rooms on the backside of the house to a fully furnished backyard. Complete with a firepit, seasoned wood, BBQ, dining table and two separate seating areas. Enjoy those views with your morning coffee or in the evening sitting around the backyard firepit.

We had a wonderful time staying in home! Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Our families shared this property with another family for a basketball tournament. The house was very clean, spacious, and well stocked with kitchen items! We cooked daily and could find everything we needed and then some! The neighborhood was nice and peaceful and a quick drive to the convention center. The backyard was beautiful and peaceful. It was enough space for the kiddos to run around or the adults to gain some quiet time for coffee or a glass of wine. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was lovely, super comfortable, and well appointed. The location was close to everything – parks, shopping, downtown, the Riverwalk, and museums. Loved the yard and the open view. Catherine was an amazing and very responsive. Looking forward to another stay!

This was a roomy, nice and clean place to stay, it also had a cabinet full of games to play. The location was perfect for what we needed. Suggestions I have would add some pot holders for the hot pans and maybe some more bath towels. I recommend this property.

For our annual girls trip 2023, we decided to stay in Reno. Our VRBO was amazing! Plenty of room for the 6 ladies on our trip. The rental was beautifully decorated, the couch and beds were very comfortable. The backyard was the best as we were there during the Hot Air Balloon festival. We sat at the patio table, drank our coffee and watched all the hot air balloons. This VRBO is conveniently located to easy access to the freeway. We definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone interested in visiting Reno!

Catherine was an exceptional host: warm and inviting on initial check-in. Always available when we reached out for help. Highly recommend for family. House was clean, backyard is spacious and location is just outside of town(10 minutes or less from Grand Sierra Resort) and 6 minutes from the coolest place in Reno (The River in down town Reno). Kids enjoyed the extra large T.V. in the living room and Mom enjoyed how safe the neighborhood is. Dad loved the BIG kitchen and our teen got to have her own room for a week. We loved it.

We do an annual golf getaway in different parts of the country. We are 4 college buddies with friendships going back 50 years. This house was perfect for our needs. Excellent location to courses, shopping and restaurants. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable furniture inside. And a great backyard with 4 chairs around a fire pit watching the sunset after our round of golf. Catherine was always available from the moment I booked this reservation.

The house was marvelous, especially the kitchen which can easily handle multiple cooks simultaneously. Only concerns: how to access basic commercial tv stations…never figured out…..and hallway bathroom tub faucet handle is so stiff it required two hands to move it. Other than that, perfect place for family gathering.

We stayed here for 4 days during our son’s wedding. This house is exceptionally comfortable with lots of amenities. Unfortunately due to the fact that we had so many family wedding activities we were not able to use the outdoor fire pit but it looked super inviting.
The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located to any place you need to go to in Reno. We would highly recommend this home.

Lovely modern updates. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location to points of interest. Comfortable. Unexpected lawn service at 0815 during our stay but they were quick and efficient. Backyard was great to observe the balloon race. Large TV was appreciated -especially with the smoke issues. The hazardous-level wildfire smoke prevented us from enjoying the lovely outdoor area and much of our original outdoor vacation plans. Travelers might want to consider visiting the area a little later in the fall. The house was amazing, well-designed and perfect for a gourmet function. Enjoy.

Owners did a great job of opening the living space with the remodel. The decor was pleasant and cohesive with a great use of copper accents.
The kitchen contains anything you could possibly need to prepare any meal. Very well thought out accounting for all scenarios.
The bedrooms were smartly arranged with a chair and bench for utility. Mattresses were new and firm. Note: Queen bed in the master. Master bath is small, but usable. Thoughtful addition with the provided shower toiletries, if you didn’t pack those items.
Inside laundry facilities were appreciated. Simple to use and worked well. All detergents, etc. provided.
Backyard is a nice, quiet space with a great view. Very private, too, with no one behind.
Conveniently located close to the freeway and a short drive to everything. We enjoyed our stay here and are happy to recommend it.

We arrived after a 12 hour drive to this beautiful home. It truly was everything in the pictures and more. The home was cozy and comfortable. The backyard boasted the best sunrises and sunsets. Gorgeous home in quiet neighborhood
This property was absolutely dazzling! Every picture was an absolute perfect representation of the home, and everything was exceptionally clean and in tip-top shape. I loved all the amenities, and there were a few food items already there that made a late night easier on a tired hungry family. The neighborhood was also nice and quiet, which is very important to me with my septuagenarian parents and young children. The house is close to grocery shopping and downtown, and conveniently it was a mere 5 minutes from my brother's home, who we were visiting during our stay. I also loved the backyard, which made quiet lazy mornings and sunbathing so easy and pleasant. Staying in this house made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. I loved staying here so much that we will seriously consider staying here again when we travel to Reno in the near future. Thank you so much to an amazing hostess.

990 Rhode Island is a beautiful, welcoming and perfect home away from home! The house is immaculate and beautiful! My family and I loved staying at this wonderful home. The home had every amenity that we needed. The beds are comfortable, bathroom, living areas and backyard are excellent. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and the area is very quiet. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and staying her added to a perfect weekend! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Recently remodeled house with a large family living area/kitchen located in a quiet working-class Reno neighborhood. Back yard is relaxing. Located off Keystone which made access to downtown and midtown easy through local streets. Highway access simple to go to Mount Rose or Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area. Best library I have seen in a vrbo.

The location is great. The house was immaculate and definitely cozy and quiet.
I personally like to black out the bedroom since I have sensitive eyes, the bedroom had a lot of lights, I had to place a blanket over so I could sleep in a little. It was really my only pet leave everything was perfect .
Very safe neighborhood. We definitely had everything we needed there and more. Catherine was marvelous at communication.
