About this cottage rental
Hello. Our beautiful 4 bedroom lakefront cottage is located on Lake Huron. It is 5 mins north of Bayfield, and 15 mins south of Goderich. Located at the end of a street, this desirable lot features views of Huron that cannot be beat. With a newly renovated kitchen, new flooring in the bedrooms and a complete makeover, this cottage is ready to enjoy. Features unlimited high speed internet and a new 46" television with Amazon Prime and Disney Plus included. Enjoy eating at the dining room table or the patio set overlooking the water. Outside amenities include bicycles (2 adult and 2 kids), a trampoline, swings, a firepit, two picnic tables and various game sets.
Pets will be negotiated on an individual basis. This property is not fenced so pets need to be leashed at all times. Please clean up after your pet (property and beach areas).
We are using a cleaning service for cleaning cottage between rentals. She is vaccinated. For 2022, we are covering this fee for our guests, this fee will be covered by guests during the 2023 season and onward.
Please note, this cottage is on the bluffs and dealing with erosion issues. Cottagers must stay back from the edge and respect the inherent danger of a bluff with a drop off. Although the edge must be respected, this scenario gives you the best sunsets Lake Huron can offer, right from the cottage deck.
There is a Municipal beach access 100m down the road so you can walk down to the beach that way. It is a good hill but navigable. Once you are down on the beach, you can walk to the area in front of our cottage, which is privately owned. There is a mixture of sand areas and pebbly areas. Right now, there is a wide open stretch of beach for play and leisure.
There is a wooden staircase leading down to the ravine for the brave at heart, but this is not owned by us, does not have a handrail, and has the potential for a dangerous fall so use of it is not advised or recommended, especially in the rain!
We have two small bedrooms on the main floor. The tangerine room has a double bed. The master room has a queen. The loft has queen and twin beds and the bunkie has a queen bed. There is a bbq on a pad outside with an aluminum cooler ready to be filled with ice and beverages. There is a second refrigerator in the shed if required.
More information can be provided upon request.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage with it’s fabulous views of Huron. The spectacular sunsets every evening were just amazing! The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and stocked with anything you could ever need. Lots of comfy seating inside and out was much appreciated. We never really wanted to leave the back deck but Goderich and Bayfield were close by for day trips and the quiet street was great for dog walks. Our family was also able to relax and have some great catch-up time by the fire. Spent some time canoeing and swimming as the water was perfect. We enjoyed meeting Isabel who was lovely and very easy to communicate with. We would return in a heartbeat! Thanks, Isabel and Shawn for sharing. ☀️

We had a wonderful week at Isabel’s cottage — the place is exactly as pictured/described. The views/sunsets are even more amazing than expected. The town of Bayfield is lovely as well with lots of cute shops and restaurants to explore. Isabel is a very attentive host and was available to support us with anything we needed. Very highly recommend this cottage!

Thanks to Isabel and Shawn for providing a beautiful vantage point from which to view Lake Huron. A Great beach that is accessible for those able-bodied due to the steepness of the incline. It was worth the climb as Lake Huron was at her best for swimming.
The cottage is spacious, well appointed, enough bedrooms to suit 8 comfortably.
Nice additions with toys for little ones, a play and stay, games, lots of dishes and utensils.
Seating around a large table created perfect family time. Nice fire pit too.
Strong internet accessibility helped those who still had to work.
When a serious glitch arose they were prompt with support and solved it in a timely fashion.
Great people and a great place resulted in a wonderful family holiday!!
Thank you❤️

The cottage is located on a quiet street and directly on the lake ! Best view ever. We stayed there for our wedding anniversary, enjoyed walks in the area and evenings by the fireplace. The cottage is roomy and has everything you need , it is home away from home. We had the pleasure of meeting our host Isabel who greeted us upon our arrival. It was our first time in Ontario west and we had the best time! Will definitely go back and hope to stay at the Cottage again .
Thanks Isabel and Shawn for everything 😊
Cheers 🍷🍷

Comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen, wonderful view of Lake Huron. Easy drive to Bayfield. Plenty of areas to hike. We didn't get down to the beach near Bayfield or Godrich, but just hearing the waves at night was perfect.

The cottage and area are very nice with lovely views of the lake, especially at sunset.
Unfortunately circumstances beyond both our and the hosts command shortened our stay.
We would definitely consider this property again.

What a gem at the end of dead end street, lots of privacy. The cottage is comfortable & cozy, has every single amenity you could need, beautiful view of Lake Huron, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Loved the week we spent there. The property manager is an amazing person to deal with and very accommodating. Thank you for a great stay.

Isabel was a very responsive hostess for my week with my mother, daughters and infant granddaughter. She even got a crib for us to use. The walk-in shower, and flat deck, patio and entrances were perfect for my mother. So much indoor and outdoor seating! We had a fabulous week!!

This cottage is a lovely vacation spot. The house has everything you need and the view of Lake Huron is absolutely amazing. The private beach access made it extra appealing for my family and Isabel was a great host. We would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. Stepping out onto the bluff and having the view of the lake around us was our favourite part. We spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the view and we didn't miss a sunset. The cottage itself was clean and cozy and had everything that we needed. It was a gift to be able to stay here and we hope we can return another time.

Isabel’s place is clean, well appointed and cozy. My family enjoyed dinners watching the sunsets every night and having euchre and corn hole tournaments lakeside. The bluff is a steep drop so this cottage would not be recommended for children. Bayfield is a 5 minute drive away for groceries, dining or the LCBO, which was great! We golfed at Oakwood in Grand Bend and would have golfed more if we didn’t love the cottage so much! We are booked for two weeks next year! We loved our time at the cottage! Thanks so much!

Lovely spot
My family had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. We enjoyed killer sunsets every night; so great to see the stars and listen to the surf. Isabel, the owner was concerned and upfront with me about septic work that had recently been completed and offered us an opportunity to back out of our week due to the muddy yard. We appreciated that. Apart from very occasional wafts of it emanating from the loo (a cottage reality), it was NOT a big deal. Windows open if needed and we spent lots of time outdoors anyway. Lots of pleasant, comfy places to sit indoors and out; the firepit was awesome, and it was cold enough to have a fire indoors which was a real bonus. If you are big cooks, you might want more counter space, but if you stay organized, it works just fine. The gigantic dining room table helps out too. If you like to walk, the neighbourhood is not conducive to a long one. We were happy enough to head down to the beach or jump in the car and head to Goderich or Bayfield—which incidentally is construction zone for this summer. All the shops are open. Overall, it was a great stay with owners who really care about your comfort.

Bayfield Cottage
This is a lovely cottage with gorgeous views of Lake Huron. The cottage has a cottage feel while still being clean, comfortable and well furnished. Isabel was helpful and went out of here way to answer questions and to ensure everything one might need at a cottage was provided. We would definitely return.

Stay at a private beach
Our stay had everything we needed for our vacation. Well equipped kitchen/bbq, plenty of indoor and out seating areas, some toys for kids and yard games too. We especially enjoyed playing boardgames on the patio table overlooking the water. The beach felt like it was our own as no one was really close to us. Getting to the beach is challenging so if you are not able bodied, I'd suggest driving to another. We brought kayaks and bikes but would forgo those next time unless you want to drive to a different area.
If you want a nice view this is your place! Isabel was very accommodating and informative to work with.

Beautiful cottage with a breath taking view!!
Just returned from a relaxing and cozy Cottage in Bayfield. My family and I enjoyed our stay from Aug 7th to the 14th.
My Family and I were welcomed to the warm cozy cottage by the owner. Her and her Husband went over and beyond to allow us to feel extremely welcomed into their cottage.
The Cottage looks exactly how you see it in the photos! Everything looks beautiful, with brand new items along with revamped furniture and house hold items. The owner let us know that they are still working on the cottage but its honestly already comfy and homey as is.
Everything you could possibly need is there and supplied for you, including new dishes, cookware, comfy bedding, as well as a smart tv equipped with almost all the streaming options. The internet worked great, especially if you need to work from there we had no issues.
The cottage is located on the bluff in a very quite location with a shared path that will take you down to your own private beach.
I have stayed at a number of cottages in the past years and I give this cottage a 10 out of 10. Definitely will be returning next year!
